I wrote my test yesterday at their office in V.I and i am very grateful to those who helped me.I hope i get called for shorlistment when they are ready.

If you copy and paste the email address as posted in this thread, it wil leave s space between the @ sign and shell. So you need to close the gap and the mail will go.It will not return.

Hello all, i applied for the post of an IT TECHNICIAN on August 30th and i was sent an email yesterday 22nd Sept,2006 that i should come for test next week wednesday 27th September at Victoria Island.
I have read all threadS in this forum that discussed this topic, i can see most people wrote the test, passed it and have not been called for the job.Even if i will wait till result will be out, i need to get prepared for the test.
Can anybody in this thread help me on how their test is like, duration of test etc and how to prepare. I need your help please.

I had the test yesterday,it wasnt as difficult as
one may think.

The numerical reasoning consists just of simple
reasoning on shapes and simple
calculation and the mechanical reasoning was all
about scientific thinking
about Machines generally, pulleys,gears,inclined
planes e.t.c they will give
you a scenario with picture and ask you to which
direction will the machine
move if force is applied in a given direction.

Lastly, the verbal is nothing to worry
about, Just go and get this nursery
school kiddies books and practice.

You will be given limited time on each section so
you need to move fast without
wastinh much time on each question.

It is all cool.

I have friend too who iwill wrting his by tommorrow.
