You see, Pinkguy(a nairalander here) was in the office of the commissioner representing Akwa Ibom/ Cross River the day before yesterday that I was there. He applied for Culture/Tourism officer and was told point blank that nobody from Akwa Ibom & Cross River was offered that job. She told him that some states got slots for that position, and so it is with other positions. There are some jobs that Niger/FCT will get but Anambra will not get, and some Lagos will get but Bauchi will not get. What we were discussing with Pinkguy outside the office was that, "why didn't they publish the job positions some states cannot apply for during the advertisement of the job.Also, why didn't they specify clearly that some jobs are only meant for HND or BSc or BTech holders during the adverts but they still went ahead to invite people all over the country for interview when they knew full well that they won't be successful in the end. My guy, one may be denied appointment letter based on "states slot factor" AND based on " Qualification Preference Factor". Trust what I just told you but always feel free to apply the doctrine of "trust but Verify" by asking another secretary to get the same reply. But on this matter, this your secretary isn't wrong afterall. Really, this country seems God-forsaken where things never ever work.

just forget those people the only good in scam later went to the office a met a man i suspect to be the commission brother he said the state was give the slot but i was not the one that got it he even mention the lady name , he was holding the book that contain the list but he refuse me to see it im very sure my name was inside

yes so hw can one get APL when the commission and the recruitment office 025 and 026 refuse people to check the book that contain the list and you know its expire after two month

the issue of APL bro i was inside when i over heard the commission brother telling the secretary akw/cross river not to send text message to people names he tick with pencils

i was in the office when commission brother told the secretary not send any text message to the names he tick with pencils , it pain because im sure my name was on this list the secretary say the state was give slot on that ministry later the commission brother told me i didnt make it on the list that that one of the lady that made it on the list he even call the name but didnt allow me to check it

im aback when people say buhari is fighting corruption after traveling two days from mabilla plateau in taraba state to abuja fcsc office just to check my name on list of the successful candidate after i had attended they so called interview ,i was not allowed both office of the director of recruitment o25 and o26 and cross river/ akwa ibom commission office , the secretary say the state was not give slot in the ministry i apply later the commission brother said i was not successful that they pick someone else they refuse to allow me check the list i feel like crying , i was helpless i hate this country i wonder why a whole federal Civil service commission cannot place the name of their Successful candidate on the internet why send them text message?

Got a call frm d sec. to my state comm. this morning requesting for another address asides Abuja add which i used initially cos of 26 abi na 28 days of which i dnt knw wot it means, as she said she was typing my APL. so i guess we stil av a long wait.

federal civil service too, after pasting own names on they website the later send text messages to total different people that do even attend the interview to come and do documentation

No,it is based on the various states a particular commissioner oversees. One is in his/her office(most times difficult to access) and another is in the office of the Director of RECRUITMENT, which is the easiest place to confirm your name, as a commissioner may not always be on seat

please try to visit FCSC office there at Zone 3 (Room 103) to see things for yourself like few people did and it turned out positive. I suppose where you are residing is not too very far from the place. You never can tell, your going there could be the start of something special in your life
