It is almost difficult to assume that one wud make a particular choice if faced wt a particular situation.i am sure if u askd Nas dis befor all dis hapnd he wil tel u he wid take manslaugther n get 15, buh u see he was faced wt d situation n he chose one dt was rite for his peace. 15 yrs is temptin buh den it depends on the odds of d situation. 2eggs1goal: Say its miss pinkpebbles in that situation, which option will she choose. |
TV/Movies › Re: The Night Of by pinkpebbles(f): 9:15pm On Aug 02, 2016 |
I av responded. The thing is eh, he had two choices.and each choice is based on individualities. Can he live with himsef after he comes out in 15yrs or wud he rather stay in prison as a proof of his innocence. His choice depends on which one he can live with. 2eggs1goal: He is just 20 years old, his hole life is still ahead of him. Better to live a guilty life with alot of freedom than to stay in prison till death..my opinion. Check ur inbox, i sent u a Pm. |
TV/Movies › Re: The Night Of by pinkpebbles(f): 8:48pm On Aug 02, 2016 |
You ar right. Buh dnt forget wat d assistant told him too. Its nt easy to accept somthin u dint do. A guilty plea can ruin his life evn aftr d 15yrs. So y nt stay in prison for life. 2eggs1goal: Lets say you among the jury to judge this case without knowing whats going to happen at the ending of the series what will be your verdit.
I think naz did let his emotions cloud his judgement which bad, even john stone told him thats best he can get, seriously from life in prison given the facts on ground to 15 with a lawyer on free fee, you remember his parent cant even pay stone the 70k charges he gave them, stone doesnt even have the money to investigate properly.
Innocent or not, this is american law we are talking about with alot of racial profiling and all, your race alone is enough to convit you.
Yea noticed that, i think the dont like mixing white and people of colour in their prison system or so. |
TV/Movies › Re: The Night Of by pinkpebbles(f): 4:57pm On Aug 02, 2016 |
I dont think thats d easy way. Acceptn a crime u dint commit isnt d easy way. Its not as if he wud be acquitd n discharged if he pled quilty. He stil gets 15 yrs and den d case is closed forever without him tryin to prove his innocence. That his lawyer is so shabby. She dint evn do any proper investigation lik John. She is not takin d case personally. I think dey shud bring bak John.Did u notice how it is only black peopl in dt prison or people of colour? 2eggs1goal: cc Bratking,Naz whats given the easy way out but he refuse to take it, whats your take on that. |

Yea. Dts d only edge pf has over thevoice. I rooted for jenny sha. Wen she left i was hurt. I liked her from pf last season. Dainikel: Jenny's exit was quite painful...I doubt those judges are gonna be replaced for next season...& that's where PF's got a lil edge...their judges are more disciplined. |

I dont o. I jst feel she wud do better in pf, naija got talent or xfactor. Not the voice. The standard is too high to jeorpadize with thrash music tunde82seidat: . Seems u v a something against Brenda.free d babe jor, shes tried too |
TV/Movies › Re: The Voice Nigeria Season 1 (official Thread) by pinkpebbles(f): 11:18pm On Jul 31, 2016 |
The moment he did dat eh, i knew somthin was rong wt d show. Buh surprisngly, alot of Nigerians shared the same sentiment. Who picks Brenda over Jenny? *smh Dainikel: Yea saving Brenda over Jenny I guess was a wrong move from 2face...if only they would replace them with judges who can differentiate voice from noise. |
TV/Movies › Re: The Voice Nigeria Season 1 (official Thread) by pinkpebbles(f): 11:17pm On Jul 31, 2016 |
Yea. He was his own doing. Anyways, Arese brot somthin diffrnt. She intrigued peopl wt her perfomances. Chike had d same vibe from pf. Jst a little mor matured dan den 7footre: A'rese to me is a worthy winner dear but def not ahead of chike. I feel chike was chike's undoing sha, his body language was jes there and he felt he was cruising. his best performance was that Dare's song and from there it was downhill performance wise, but then the painment |

U ar welcome. U knw dt girl is a weirdo. I pity Nas sha. He wud av jst stayd home dt nite 2eggs1goal: Thanks for the correction its her stepfather me bad cc Bratking. yep thats another theory to it. |
TV/Movies › Re: The Voice Nigeria Season 1 (official Thread) by pinkpebbles(f): 11:03pm On Jul 31, 2016 |
Yea. Pls mention 2face too. He kept Brenda.poor choices he made. Dis guys know nothin abt voice and singing. They ar all about entertainment. Dainikel: My thought too, those guys should replace the likes of Pato, Waje & even Timi for his over-activity & playfulness. If only all competitions of this sort aint placed in the hands of viewers, I guess the likes of Patrick & Brenda wouldn't get past auditions. |
TV/Movies › Re: The Night Of by pinkpebbles(f): 11:00pm On Jul 31, 2016 |
Pls is dt man her father inlaw or her stepfather. That girl knew she was goin to die jor. She pulled in an innocent boy in her game.moreover, while dey wia playin wt d knife, she had a cut. so it is possible Nas jst continued stabbing her while she was enjoyin it. Buh coz he was under influence, he cudnt remember d next morning 2eggs1goal: hahaha...you enh, will you till be watching it now that you know whats going to happen.
Male hmmm guessing it should be the father-in-law. saw your comment in the series chat room, even if i know the killer that wont stop me from watching it. spoilers even increases my hunger to watch a series. |

A lot of peopl wil hurt over dis Chike's lost. And u know wat wil pain dem most.? How can Arese 7footre: Yea! It would have been Brenda and patrick carrying the day I guess
Well..... sunday evenings would never be the same for sure and the painment of chike loosing would take a while to heal |

Class! Dts jst d word for her. Dt Patrick n Brenda own oo. It annoys me. I really do not know what people hear that makes them vote.anyways, i think their minds are in the club wen evr dey hear doz trashy songs. I think dey shud stop lettn d viewers vote. Bring in judges like Nneka, Asa, Timi is ok,and then Dare. Buh den, how do they recover their moni safarigirl: i think Chike would prefer her to the likes of Patrick, Brenda and Cornel
A'rese is class. I said it on this thread earlier that only Chike, Nonso, Dewe, A'rese , Michael and Cornel had that special thing different from the usual noise. Plus, the audience recognised quality eventually, even though some ratchet people took Patrick to the Semis |
TV/Movies › Re: The Voice Nigeria Season 1 (official Thread) by pinkpebbles(f): 10:13pm On Jul 31, 2016 |
Exactly. Thats how to analyse her story. Good thing for her that the average Nigerian family wouldnt waste 6k to subscribe. If not eh, Brenda wud av been dia choice.gragra music. 7footre: You know I took note of A'rese went she did that south African song, the the Fela song. Can't remember the sequence but I was analysing her with ma cousin and I put forth the following arguments 1. Nigerian people don't dig the kinda music she sings so she won't necessarily sell
2 girls vote more than guys in such competitions and won't necessarily vote her
Well what do I know? The A'rese girl should give herself some credit you can always read d surprise on her face whenever she was saved and even when she won d competition. I hope this win is a vindication for her. She really does deserve it |

Call her an under dog. M sure Chike wouldnt believe she won over him. Peopl like different especially rich people. By the no. Of channels airing thevoice and viewership, u wud notice that it is targetd to a particular type of people. Trust me, dey wud wana hear Arese coz she has a diferent energy. Did u see her sing Imogen heap hide and seek? Dainikel: That's if he would adjust but where tha hell did A'rese get her voters? Thought Patrick had the edge in team Waje |
TV/Movies › Re: The Voice Nigeria Season 1 (official Thread) by pinkpebbles(f): 9:53pm On Jul 31, 2016 |
He was shocked at how much popularity he gained especially amongst the women. He became so sure all the ladies would vote for him.Hence a puff of pride around him. On Instagram, he had to specially thnk some people for voting him. What abt d people he dint thnk specially, do u think dey wil kip voting? People kept complainin that they wia not recognized. My opinion, he shudnt av selected a few peopl to show his gratitude towards. Dt cost him some votes too swann: No one saw this coming...I didn't see this coming...but A'rese made me cry so she earned it... congratulations to her...
And people... how is Chike over confident... please people what are the characteristics of an over confident person. |
TV/Movies › Re: The Voice Nigeria Season 1 (official Thread) by pinkpebbles(f): 9:48pm On Jul 31, 2016 |
U see ba. I wish he wia all down to earth with that his smooth voice. He wud have garnered more votes Dainikel: True tho especially his audition @PF when he sang -'everybody knows'(a perfect gentle guy)...wished he won despite his transformation tho |
TV/Movies › Re: The Voice Nigeria Season 1 (official Thread) by pinkpebbles(f): 9:46pm On Jul 31, 2016 |
I totally agree wit u on all points. At some point i was confused as to wat the judges wia judging. Especially by keepin Brenda till the end of the show. opeaceo: So, it's over, my thoughts on this show are:
Firstly, can they please move this show to Nigeria? Doing a show targeted at the Nigerian audience in SA is not it.
Secondly, the judges need a reorientation, some of their acts comes across as too childish.
Then the anchors are just boring, no style, nothing to spice up the show and IK only knows "how to save time".
Can they please advice PF how they picked their back up singers, instrumentalists and their choreographers??
The first edition of the voice was, emmm.. Good, but it can be better. |
TV/Movies › Re: The Voice Nigeria Season 1 (official Thread) by pinkpebbles(f): 9:43pm On Jul 31, 2016 |
My dear he was proud. One of the characteristic of a proud person is over- confidence. I followed him on Instagram.he needed to tone it down jor opeaceo: I never liked Chike, I don't think he is overconfident though, he's got a lovely voice and he was just too proud of it. |
TV/Movies › Re: The Voice Nigeria Season 1 (official Thread) by pinkpebbles(f): 9:41pm On Jul 31, 2016 |
Confidence is good. Over is d prob. Chike is gud no doubt but he knew he was gud. Sometimes wen u dont know, it doesnt get to your head. As for Arese, i noticed her wen she was not evn sure of hersef. Moreover, she has a special talent 7footre: I fall into that category of fans.... but the boy is good! leave his over confidence for another day....... would you have preferred him timid and jittery? |
TV/Movies › Re: The Voice Nigeria Season 1 (official Thread) by pinkpebbles(f): 9:36pm On Jul 31, 2016 |
No jor. The Chike in project fame was more reserved. He came out all out for the voice. Evn his hair changed. Remember that Ibadan boy na. He was calm n unsure of himsef. I prefer him in pf Dainikel: Chike have always had that aura of confidence even in project fame. I guess he forgets its a competition & anything can happen |
