illegal refineries are responsible for this. I observed this thing about three years back when I was at work in Okirika LGA. It was so bad that you will see settled soothes on your shirts if you are out doors beyond 7pm.

Religion / Re: Why Did Jesus Curse The Fig Tree? by pinne: 6:24pm On Oct 09, 2016
Its a fact that that was not the season for fig trees to blossom and bear fruits, but the fig tree put up a deceptive appearance to Jesus by having leaves and that attracted him to there look for fruit. Please note that the tree spoke to Jesus and that is reason the bible recorded in verse 14 of mark 11 ' And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. You only answer to a question or in response to a statement and its quite odd to answer to a tree. So if it answered to the tree then the tree must have said something to Him.
The question now is, what could the tree have possibly said to Him. I believe that it mocked Jesus. Remember that Jesus was the second Adam and when the first Adam fell, he used leaves from the fig to coverup himself. The fig tree must have said to Jesus that he is waiting to cover Him up just as he covered the first Adam and that was why Jesus answered it with a curse.
Its more than meet the eyes and i beleive if you read in between the line you will definitely grab the truth.

Religion / Re: Why Do Most Churches Make It Mandatory For Women To Cover Their Hair In Church? by pinne: 7:06pm On Jan 18, 2015
Hiswordxray:
In the book of first Corinthians Paul gave certain instructions and he gave a reason for each of these instructions. Some he said it is directly from the Lord, another he said it's from the wisdom that God gave him, yet another he said it's just an advice. But when it came to the issue of women covering their hair he said "Now if anyone is disposed to be argumentative and contentious about this, we hold to and recognize no other custom [in worship] than this, nor do the churches of God generally." (1Cor 11:16).
Paul didn't say didn't say this is directly from the Lord and he didn't say if women didn't cover their hair they will go to Hell.

But Paul said this is a custom. Custom tells you what you need to do to be a part of a group or a society. And to be a part of the Church as at that time you must cover your hair as a woman.
But the gospel tells you what you need to do to make heaven and have a foretaste of heaven on earth.

Women covering hair is nothing but a custom for believer as at the time that verse was written. But if you choose to follow it fine and if you don't want to follow it there is nothing wrong with that.

Good. more so, its their tradition in the middle east for a woman to always have her hair covered and Paul concluded this issue by saying that long hairs is given to the woman for a covering.

For me, I think this is a step in the right direction for a journey of a million miles begins with a step. The ripple effects of having cars coupled in Nigeria is huge, think of the supporting industries that will emerge, the employments and so forth. Men, thumbs up Naija.
Food / Re: 13 Benefits Of Walnuts by pinne: 4:54pm On Sep 20, 2014
Great info. I'd always known that walnut is a good nut but never cared to search out its health benefits.
