Oh my God! I can't help but laugh at the atheists and their usual blind argument! May God forgive us all,Amen! Until men accept that they can never know more than their creator, they would never gain true wisdom. Even robots created by men don't know all that we know! |

Terye:. The Bible never records Jesus saying the precise words, “I am God.” That does not mean, however, that He did not proclaim that He is God. Take for example jesus’ words in John 10:30, “I and the Father are one.” We need only to look at the Jews’ reaction to His statement to know He was claiming to be God. They tried to stone Him for this very reason: “You, a mere man, claim to be God” ( John 10:33). The Jews understood exactly what Jesus was claiming—deity. When jesus declared, “I and the Father are one,” He was saying that He and the Father are of one nature and essence. John 8:58 is another example. Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth … before Abraham was born, I am!” Jews who heard this statement responded by taking up stones to kill Him for blasphemy, as the Mosaic Law commanded (Leviticus 24:16). John reiterates the concept of Jesus’ deity: “The Word [Jesus] was God” and “the Word became flesh” ( John 1:1, 14). These verses clearly indicate that Jesus is God in the flesh. Acts 20:28 tells us, “Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.” Who bought the church with His own blood? Jesus Christ. And this same verse declares that God purchased His church with His own blood. Therefore, Jesus is God! Thomas the disciple declared concerning Jesus, “My Lord and my God” ( John 20:28). Jesus does not correct him. Titus 2:13 encourages us to wait for the coming of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ (see also 2 Peter 1:1). In Hebrews 1:8, the Father declares of jesus, “But about the Son he says, ‘Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.’” The father refers to Jesus as “O God,” indicating that Jesus is indeed God. In Revelation, an angel instructed the apostle John to only worship God ( Revelation 19:10). Several times in Scripture Jesus receives worship ( Matthew 2:11; 14:33; 28:9, 17; Luke 24:52; John 9:38). He never rebukes people for worshiping Him. If jesus were not God, He would have told people to not worship Him, just as the angel in Revelation did. There are many other passages of Scripture that argue for Jesus’ deity. The most important reason that Jesus has to be God is that, if He is not God, His death would not have been sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the world ( 1 John 2:2). A created being, which Jesus would be if He were not God, could not pay the infinite penalty required for sin against an infinite God. Only God could pay such an infinite penalty. Only God could take on the sins of the world ( 2 Corinthians 5:21), die, and be resurrected, proving His victory over sin and death. The holy quran pay more emphasis on jesus... Some people are just been ignorant... I believe it takes the holy spirit to reveal the truth to some people... Jesus been a God will continue to be a mystery to some people until they encounter the holy spirit.... |

KORLAR:. Colossians 1:15-17. 15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in Him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.…. John 1:3 Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made. John 1:10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him. Romans 9:5 Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them proceeds the human descent of Christ, who is God over all, forever worthy of praise! Amen. Romans 11:36 For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen. 1 Corinthians 8:6 yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we exist. And there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we exist. Ephesians 1:10 as a plan for the fullness of time, to bring all things in heaven and on earth together in Christ. I pray the holy spirit will minister this verses to you for more understand... God bless you... Amen |

I am a pastor and I preach from this passage today. Don't try to defend Jesus that he did not curse the tree. The revelation of the action is better understood when one read verse 13 of Mark 11 in the amplified version of bible. Jesus cursed the fig tree for its pretence. Here is verse13 "And seeing in the distance a fig tree [covered] with leaves, He went to see if He could find any [fruit] on it [for in the fig tree the fruit appears at the same time as the leaves]." Read the statement in the bracket. The sign that a fig tree has fruit us by sprouting leaves. The fig tree pretend to have fruit but having none. Don't pretend to be a child of God. |

The scripture talks about we created in the image of God possessing all the authority in heaven and on earth, that we can say to a mountain move thy self from this place and it would flee. So jesus cursing a tree that refuses to bear fruit and tries to make justification that it is not it's season is not allowed. The same applies to the kingdom race, people giving various reasons for not bearing fruit. |

Its a fact that that was not the season for fig trees to blossom and bear fruits, but the fig tree put up a deceptive appearance to Jesus by having leaves and that attracted him to there look for fruit. Please note that the tree spoke to Jesus and that is reason the bible recorded in verse 14 of mark 11 ' And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. You only answer to a question or in response to a statement and its quite odd to answer to a tree. So if it answered to the tree then the tree must have said something to Him. The question now is, what could the tree have possibly said to Him. I believe that it mocked Jesus. Remember that Jesus was the second Adam and when the first Adam fell, he used leaves from the fig to coverup himself. The fig tree must have said to Jesus that he is waiting to cover Him up just as he covered the first Adam and that was why Jesus answered it with a curse. Its more than meet the eyes and i beleive if you read in between the line you will definitely grab the truth. |

The tree looked fruitful while it was not. And scripture says: Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire-Matthew 7:19. GOD designed things to be useful, any useless one He expect to be disposed. And it was an opppurtunity for Jesus to teach them Faith. |

For a while now, I Av noticed the admin of this blog as a convicted Anti Christ. The Bible says my people perish for lack of wisdom. Jesus Christ's life is a perfect example of Christian life. Jesus causing the Fig tree tells us that for as many Christians who are unfruitful will be destroyed sooner or later. So always take time to interpret the Bible. Do not follow all this devil sent administrators. |

1. First of all I need you all to understand that every "thing" that you see around you have intelligence. Yes! everything that you can see and feel with your senses. 2. And for these thing to respond beyond the 3rd dimensional world that we live in, you need Faith! This is what and where Jesus operated from. 3. Jesus is the Son of God (this is beyond being a servant, like many have opined) and He's also "God"-- John 1:1-4&10. 4. And because of this, everything that He created/made, ought to respond to Him even without speaking (Communication is first started in your spirit, before it flows out of your mouth). 5. He spoke to the sea and winds and they responded (Mark 4:36-41).. Imagine! 6. He spoke to a fish to provide money for tax and it did... Matthew 17:24-27. Question: How did the money get there? The fish nko? How come it just allowed Peter to catch it(considering how fishes would naturally run away from humans), just to give him the coin in its mouth? 7. When Peter and the other guys(who later became disciples), had "professionally" toiled and caught no fish, He told them to go back and cast their net for, like He puts it, a catch of their lives Luke 5:1-10. Question? Where did the fishes come from? 8. He also blessed a little boy's lunch(of five loaves of bread and two fishes), and He fed 5,000 men(women and children not counted o), with left overs. Question? Which rule of mathematics did He apply? 9. Now to the matter of the fig tree... Obviously from his reply to the tree, there had been a communication and the tree did not respond. You might ask again, "but it was not the time/season for figs..." My Answer: He is God of everything and He does not walk or function by seasons... 10. Lastly, it also was an act to prove to His disciples, the power of faith over anything. Faith always works! If it did not work, it wasn't faith! Shalom! |
