I am relocating to Awka and I would like to know the areas that can boast of regular power supply and good road network. Regular power like 6 hours minimum daily and water. Please give me a heads up if there are such places like this, and the cost of a room and parlour or/and 3bedroom flat.

X + 45 = 60Y
59(Y + 0.2) + 45 = 60Y
59Y + 11.8 + 45 = 60Y
11.8 + 45 = 60Y - 59Y
56.8 = Y (which is average weight of 60people)
Since the average weight of the 59 people increase by 0.2, then the Average weight of 59people. is 56.8 + 0.2 = 57

First lets start with power holding companies.
Lawyers in the house, please lets converge and find out how we can sue the power holding company for the exorbitant billing system in use. I am not a lawyer, but I'm sure it is illegal to be made to pay for what you did not use, to disconnect power from a house for outstanding debts, and generally to unilaterally calculate a bill under s shady system etc.
I am prepared to fund the project, so we don't need anyone to pay anything. We just want need support and unity. Please send mail to
Angry.Nigeria@gmail.com and lets discuss the possibility of suing these thieves. We will fix a date for a meeting and start from there.

Lets use IKEDC to send the warning. If you are under IKEDC and are tired of their extortion, please let us join forces to sue. We dont need a high priced lawyer, all of them have money to pay IKEDC, we will do it all ourselves. We need as many people as we can get, with receipts, bills, whatever, even physical support. Lets try this. We cant just keep looking and suffering silently and complaining on the internet.
We need to fight for ourselves, because no one will fight for us. We are educated enough to demand better.

(other parts of Nigeria under other power holding companies too should meet and do likewise). Even if we lose in court, we would have sent a message, and i am sure they will start respecting us the youths/people.

1. You can be disconnected in your absence.
2. There was no indication in the post that they had no valid id.
3. You can be disconnected during monitoring for infractions or illegal connection without capture without your house being on disconnection list.
4. You can't jail any staff for disconnecting you. The liability is on the company and you can report to regulatory body to impose fine.
5. Do research from NERC regulations before passing on erroneous information.

I honestly think that u should be the one to make research on Nerc regulation and enquires before saying my info is erroneous.
Go to NERC electric reform act of 2005 section 5 subsection (f) stating that the distribution company should give u a written notice that u r about to be disconnected.
You don't honestly know ur right that's why they kept bullying u to pay any amount they want.

I think the best thing is to sue them to court
And let them explain to u how u accumulate those bill.
U will see how they will react.
Note that
1) u are not suppose to be disconnected in ur absence
2) the person disconnecting u should have a valid id card from his distribution company
3) he must also have a disconnection list from the company authorizing him to disconnect u indicating ur meter no.
4) otherwise u are suppose to jail him for damaging power line

Also remember that if u have paid for ur meter and it have not been delivered after 3months, are suppose to use electric power free (ie don't pay) until the meter is installed.
