You need not be sarcastic in your response.

You already know the answer to this don't you?

Hello Everyone,

I wrote the September 8 IELTS with British Council. The writing "crippled" my result. LRSW>>8,7,8,6.5. I want to go the route of a remark for the Writing module, while I prepare to retake the test.
I understand the test report will be "frozen" during the remark. Can I still use it to enter EOI pool during this process?
Thanks.

Amen! Howfar with your OAU verification? Was the woman useful? It'll end well.
@DonTee07,
Pls, do you mind helping with a contact at OAU who can help with my Spouse's Credential verification?
She requested for transcript through etx. WES status has changed to "Verification sent ..." since 29th August and Etx claims they are yet to receive any verification e-mail.
I will greatly appreciate any assistance to scale this hurdle.

abatically:
My guy it is very safe. They are not trying to say the horn should not be used at all, but it should only be used when absolutely necessary, that is the moral. People in Nigeria use their horns as if it is a toy, unnecessarily. The world would be a better place when people start driving with their mind open and not by honking their horns every second. U hear people blazing horns in traffic, at hospitals, in schools and estates. This is an enlightenment to let people know it is possible to drive without the horn, I do it several times.

We keep saying Nigeria is bad, yet when we go to other countries we abide by their rules. I have driven for 3 months outside Nigeria without using my horn and I can tell u it was so peaceful . So why can't we do the same thing in our own country.
Now I'm pleased to read a few comments from sane Nigerian. Some years back, many would say Nigerians can never be used to fastening their seat belts. Many would say Oshodi cannot be that neat.
A journey of a thousand miles begin with a step.
I'm always proud of Lagos state government and think Lagos should be the one called Pace Setter State.

GenOrumov:
Its not only about noise pollution, its about trying to be sane in an insane society. Was tempted several times but resisted the need to use my horn on the way to the office. A rule in driving says we should anticipate the moves of other motorists.
You and I have been the only sane persons on this thread.

Hello House,

I just got my visa. Checked at teleperformance with little or no faith.

From my experience, pls damn whatever response you get from ukvi. Just keep knocking at their door once your application is 15 working days or above.

Thanks to all.

crown86: oh University of Manchester. That's a great University but am not certain they do have January intake. Most programmes are for September. However, write a mail to your programme director at the school and explain the situation to him/her.

Then make a request for late enrollment for 12th October 2014.

They should be able to give you a letter. Don't terminate your application yet. What course do you intend to study?
Tx crown86.

I intend studying Advanced Control & Systems Engineering. Meanwhile, the course is structured to complete lectures & course-work for a course unit in 3wks and then move to another course unit. So an extension till 12th oct means i would have missed out of a course unit (Lectures + course-work).Though my last day of joining class is 6th oct.

crown86: I dont understan by that you mean by what you get yourself into. Meanwhile, some school do have late enrollment. What is the name of the school so I can advise you better.
I'm smiley
Regards
I meant the usual delay experienced by Teleperformance applicants.
I'm going to University of Manchester.

justwise: You applied too late, canceling it now wouldn't make any difference, let it run it course, if you got refused based on late application you can still reapply for Jan admission.
Tx Justwise. I knew I did apply late but that was because I am getting a govt financial sponsorship. I couldn't apply until I got the sponsorship letter and introduction letter.

Meanwhile, a few of my peers who applied after I did have gotten their visas. Though they applied in abuja.

Prof Justwise & Others,

Kindly give your candid advice.

I submitted my application at Teleperformance Lagos on 1st sept. I have been checking on them and ukvi after I realized what I've gotten myself into from information on this thread.

Ukvi's response to my email on Frid is attached.

My school already resumed and lecture starts tomorrow.

Can I cancel my visa application at this stage cos I'm already thinking of Jan option if I get a good school.

Kindly advise.

KazNaija: It seems like all applications at Teleperformance from 1st of September have issues with web tracking. Mine was stuck at 'attend interview' and the last week it went back to account created and has not moved since then. You might have to call UKVI to get update on your application o. The Teleperformance people are of no help on this thing.
@KazNaija,
Any update at your end? DO you know anyone else that submitted at teleperformance on 01/09?
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by Pirooo(m): 2:55pm On Sep 16, 2014
KazNaija: Have you got any feedback at all? Did you call and email them?
I just got off the phone with UK-VI. My application is still awaiting decision.
They gave reason as "making further enquiries".
Now i'm scared. Lectures start nxt monday.

KazNaija: Please are there any other 1st September Teleperformance VI people out there. Has anyone got functioning website feedback or any feedback at all?
I am your brother in same shoes. I submitted at teleperformance (VI) on 1st Sept. Status shows my account has just been created.
Unfortunately, my school resumed yesterday and classes start next monday. Optimistic!

gbemmiey: Have u contacted ukvi to know the status of your application?
Yea...I did 2 days back. They replied with a lengthy mail saying there was no update on my application.

Another inquiry I made yesterday has received no response.

I submitted my application since 1st of sept. See below what 'Tele-ill-performance' tracking tool says.
Had I known, I would have visited this thread before submitting my application. School resumes next on 14th.
He who has ears...let him stay off Tele-ill-performance. #Gbam!
