I have a family friend (rather enemy) who dabbled into the occultic for riches.

Yes he became rich, but on occasions he's so depressed he starts drinking to forget his sorrows.

It's a place of no return, but God remains merciful.

Same thing happened in my family, real life experience, an uncle, the guy is messed up right now,his kids are in terrible shape, he himself is hurting everytime but some how still doesn't want to let go cause of the cult. He actually at one point introduced me to it, God saved me i actually saved me that i was not interested even when i didn't really understand what they really do, it was later i found out that it was going to be my soul and conscience that would be the price and maybe blood of a family member which would destroy my soul.

What i later found out is that some of them actually use their brother,sister,wife or even child to advance in rank and get rewards especially money. Sometimes when people in families die mysteriously its not as mysterious as it is for those who understand spiritual things and the fact that people actually use their blood brother or relation for sacrifice and there is no evidence in autopsy cause spiritual things cannot actually be revealed just like that. Thats why i smile when people say they want to make money at all cost, if they really know the consequences and the fact that by the time they have everything that the cult has promised,it never satisfies.

That's why i hold on to christ cause that one alone give peace, satisfaction and eternal life with all other things added.

We would go for a 4-day "retreat" as it called.
