But the instrumentalist from the lead guitarist to bassist, to pianist, trumpet, konga and the rest are well paid and thank God u know that. Now coming back to ur church RCCG. Shey u knw say RCCG pass RCCG. Now get ur facts right, most Rccg Parishes whr me base for lag here oo pay their instrumentalist. Well they may not pay like other churches will but them they pay. Got few friends playing for redeem churches too.. But u will mostly find redeem church instrumentalist more as volunteers because most times the church are the ones that take them through the training stages and if they are now good they wouldn't wnt to ask 4 a pay. But have seen some crazy bois, when they notice the church isn't sensitize to their financial plights they themselves wld teach younger ones and Move! But most Redeem church give sometin they call "allowance" whc could be like 10kminimum to like 35k to their instrumentalist and will so welcome u if u decide to Volunteer.. So its a choice thing still.. And besides na allowance those churches they call the pay not salary... They Appreciate in Cash and Kind Bros, e don do, it is do - so dat we dnt lengthen this thin... Trust me not to reply to any of ur comment on this same issue again.... |

For instance christ Embassy pays its instrumentalist as if they are bankers and they are expected to develop themselfs more to give good music, My family church Daystar Christian Center Pays its Instrumentalist also like bankers and u will be amazed at the level they play. That doesn't mean they aren't playing for God aby what ar u saying. And it doesn't mean if u aren't paid u shouldn't play well too o. Am only trying 2clear out the issue u raised on ur comment above... bros let's cut the topic here, do me good by not replying this post, so we don't lengthen this issue!!! Thank u! |

Hope u knw how to play the guitar else u would still need to go get a tutor for it. And jst pray u dnt get someone whose gonna charge u outrageously.. But bro jst incase u are contemplating which of the 2 between guitar n keyboard to learn 1st I wld advice u go for the Piano because it has more hungry market (churchwise) to absorb u(To call for ur service.). Pianist are hot cake my brother. I don't knw whr u stay but as a student and if u reside in lagos whr almost everywhr u turn there are churches then u wld understand what I mean..ok let me illustrate somefin, I wouldn't want to use ma self but a few of ma friends as a case study to illustrate sumfin.. Some of ma friends are very very good keyboard players. They plays for like 2 to 3 churches and still they have their Regular work they resume every Monday - Friday. So playing piano is like an extra stressfree Income for them because they Jst Play the Piano 2 times in a Week (weekly service and sunday services, and 8 days in a Month with a maximum playing time of 2hrs each day and at the end of the month 15-20k for each church for each month goes home with them that's totaling 30-40k. And the very funny thing u could say the money is quite small but looking at the number of days worked(8day of 2 times in a week for a month) and knwing that it wouldn't affect ur regular work then its worth it somehw... Ok have said enough.. Mouth sealed! *I haff a feeling some1 wld come and say.. Chai c ds guys friends, they are playing piano for money.... And I wld reply before nkor. Is it for sand they will play it ny.. As little as I knw abt 90% of instrumentalist in churches in lag are paid for their service. Except for those that choose to volunteer.. Volunteering or not its an option of choice... |

Now u guys have successfully Infiltrated our thread for Good for Bad and More so for Increased Tension..... All of a sudden I started seeing new Monikers forming Big bois and girls on the thread somepple built and maintained frm the scratch..
