Let's start from d beginning..shall we?
Mum told me many times how weird I was when I was little n how my gifts saved the family countless times..
.she said i was 6months old when we packed into a new apartment(2 bedroom) in my mum's new station as a school teacher..up till DAT time I was like every other baby, bawling my lungs away n giggling cutely at everyone around me. But she said I displayed unusual sensitivity even at that time n she was bothered for a time but my granma told her to snap out of it saying every baby is different. All DAT changed the night we packed into this new house...the house is d 'face me I slap' kind with a long narrow corridor separating one side from another.the first two rooms are like parlour n bedroom format while d rest are single rooms with a BQ at the back where d landlady(bedridden for years) stayed. We were the first tenants in d house n had no idea about d previous occupants.
My first night in d house was terrible...mum said I woke up clocksure at 12am n started bawling like my intestines were being chewed,waking everybody up n only sleeping off at 4am..d same scenario d next day n all through d week. As a schoolteacher,it wasnt easy for her to be kept wide eyed till 4am when she wakes up by 6am for school...yet I never stopped but during d day I would sleep like 2mao no dey....
.My granma then noticed that its 12am large black birds would keep hovering on a tree branch overlooking our window so d branch was cut. 2nd week was OK. Once my mum leaves for work neighbours would rush to come see me n play with me but curiously once I see them no amount of petting would relieve me till they leave n when my mum knew she intensified her prayers.
A new tenant packed in the 3rd week. A nursing mother with twins.At 12 am DAT night, i woke up bawling n in d morning.,one of the twins died(found frozen)..the tenants were distraught n blamed it on cold(according to mum) yet with all expert medical advice,the second twin got sicker by the day.4th week found me bawling only once n that was when d other twin died(less than 2 weeks after d parents packed in)
My mum said she knew I was seeing things n paid closer attention to me while praying harder n at d same time refusing any neighbour to carry me....this trend continued till I was a year. Other tenants moved in n experienced unspeakable losses in terms of children,jobs n other misfortune.


I was a year plus when I remembered my first experience... I was always d cute little kid everyone adult wanted to carry except I let some carry me while shunning others like they had d black plague. Mum had a conference to go with other teachers n was pregnant with my brother (don't mind my dad he likes scoring goals like DAT when he comes home twice a month)n was preparing to go(already packed n all) when one neighbour(also a teacher) n two others walked in...I looked at them n saw their heads splittered into 2, intestines trailing on d floor n no legs while blood dripping from them are being licked by 2 old women with cat eyes. D two women saw me n smiled,then moved close to my mum....I yelled her name n kept pointing to those women while not being articulate enough to explain, just saying mummy EJOO(please in Yoruba) while old women made faces at me. Pandemonium reigned n to cut a long story short,my mum stayed behind while d others left.... I woke up to see her crying d next day..her colleagues had an accident n their head n legs were chopped off..none survived. The incident made my mum n dad very attentive to what I have to say/gestures


Not long after...my brother was born. The 2nd one I remembered was watching a film( yes..I was always staring at d TV even if I don't know what d fvck is going on n after a few attempts to stop me by mum,dad cautioned her to let me be) at night,mum was in d room with d baby n dad wasn't home...I remembered watching d TV when outta d corner of my eyes our door MOVED....
N 2 creatures came out....women like in appearance but sharp teeth like nails or something...one saw.me n opened its mouth wide like it wanted to swallow me.I kept quiet throughout ( I think by this time I had seen so much DAT yelling was a bad idea to me).. I kept still n stared n stared while she leered n leered n seemed surprised when I wasn't afraid,the 2nd creature looked me n shook its head at d 1st then pointed to the door leading to mum's room. I never knew what made me do it but I stepped down from d couch n went to block d way to mum's room( weird right)...
They went mad n flew around d room saying stuffs I can't hear n making gestures.. They couldn't move close n I just stared!!!! After a while they left n I continued watching d TV..My mum found me the next morning at d doorstep when she heard our neighbour's yells.....Her 4 year old daughter was found vomiting blood the next morning... She died DAT day!!!
