WinningSun:Whats your point? Do you know how contracts work? You are a bag full of surprises. So if you want to execute a contract you ask them to pay you upfront? I would like to know institutions that operate like that, I would be so happy to do business with them. And do you know how many times strange fire guts businesses down in Nigeria? because no be your money its just another news...or how many times people fail to honor contracts..you think it comes with no cost abi nah your useless police or corrupt court that takes forever to attend to issues? |
WinningSun:You are saying nothing yet you quote me...I cant find words?? I ask you a question..what would you do if people destroy your business or fail to honor contracts? My Father rendered Engineering services to PHCN in Portharcourt late last year, he was due for payment since May 2016...till date shishi he has not received. Meanwhile a capital of 15million that was used to execute the contract is tired down since all this time...guy use your head abeg. |
WinningSun:LOL...Your comment makes me laugh out very loud. Its either you grossly over estimate me or you are very naive. Do you know Dangotes antecedents or how and when he started out? for your info Dangote controls the instruments of states not just in Nigeria but in almost all African countries. The likes of Dangote thrive in corruption, chaos and backwardness, though they would not like a total anarchy, but a corrupt and easily bendable institutions is what they love, they have far too much advantage over existing and prospective competitors. His likes can just wake up one morning and pay hoodlums to set fire on your business, tell me what will you do? |
nani212:If the states in Nigeria becomes truly Federal, were each states dictates and governs what happens within its environs and stops depending on some allocation from oil or resources from other regions, I would rush down to invest in Nigeria. State governments would protect their territories and set enabling and enforceable laws then, so that investments can thrive and be taxed...till then.... |
juman:Upgrade what we have presently to world standard before thinking of building new Universities that would become like the rest. Take a look at NDU and the new universities that were commissioned by GEJ, are they not even worse than the already existing ones? |
nani212:I would be stupid to risk my hard earned resources and also risk my credit line by investing in Nigeria with the present state of things when I have an alternative. I will just keep living my live till the coast is clear...no be my hustle them go scatter. The present level of risk in Nigeria is not normal...its not the kind we were taught about in business classes...its absurd. People investing in Nigeria daily are persons who have no choice or people who control the instruments of states..I am neither. |
juman:Is this the priority? What would happen to the existing universities that are substandard? You want them to create more substandard schools? |
nani212:And who says we have not learned a thing or two? The problem is not capital..at least for me, as it stands now I have a credit limit of $3k monthly at 0% interest, so what stops me from mobilizing this for investment monthly? the environment in Nigeria! ...with the way things are now in Nigeria, I cannot invest my hard earned money...omo the environment is just too risky and volatile. How do you enforce contracts in Nigeria, protect your property/investment, get supply of energy for your business e.t.c? Some things need to be put in place first. I can easily and will be very happy to create a business back home and employ at least 10 Nigerians if things improve back home...I know a few more like me who are willing to do same. |
Almand:Nooo, you misfired! You obviously lack simple comprehension skills. Your response reflects how warped your reasoning is. Magu, a man who happens to be the acting chairman of Efcc, under whose leadership the agency is vehemently prosecuting the members of the senate for fraud, without even sparing their head, the Chief crook himself, was not confirmed by the senate and you choose to believe that it was because of some fathom security report that only the senate has (no other agency or entity, only the senate) even the ever intrusive press with their retinue of informants at the senate and security agencies are not privy to this DSS damning report and you think a report actually exists? How smart of you. To also think that the DSS, an agency under the supervision of the President will send a damning report that they have about a nominee of the President to the Senate after the President ignored it in the first place, in our beloved Nigeria shows how lacking in thinking you are. You are most likely not fortunate for how will you be fortunate with this kind of analysis?...for the mumu matter nah you carry poo! I dont suffer fools gladly...the message in my initial post which you pounced on like a Puma exposing your folly is that, there is no DSS security report anywhere, the senators want to enjoy their loots in peace and Magu has refused to allow that. |
tete7000:Prof Sagay has his flaws as you have rightly pointed out, but he is right on this one. The President is permitted by the law to keep Magu in acting capacity for 4years if he so wishes, talk to a lawyer with knowledge on this if in doubt. |
Almand:A DSS report that the president is not privy to but has somehow found its way to the senate? Majority of Nigerians are very dull. |
Softbamboo:Sleep well too. I can find time to Skype sometime. Cheers! |
Softbamboo:Or maybe your ex was clean...only illegit guys spend frivolously. How old are you by the way? |
Softbamboo:Absurd generosity. Nigerians in SA especially those on the fast lane are known to be very generous to ladies...are you not aware? |
Softbamboo:Ah...ok. I was thinking it because of the pecks that comes with dating Nigerians... I have friends from tswana (dont know how its spelt) and xhosa who have much love for Nigerians, they tell me that Nigerians are viewed as drug lords in the South of Africa though. Tsonga seems to cut across Mozambique, Swaziland and Zimbabwe...how so? |
Softbamboo:Noted, when pronounced it sounds like Koza. You seem to love Nigerian men...arent you scared that they are ''all desperate drug lords",.a sentiment shared by girls in the Southern parts of Africa? |
Softbamboo:Zulu or koza? |
Softbamboo:What part of Nigeria are you from? |
Softbamboo:Want you? Because of your fake makeup or fake hair? Am not sure why I should want you. I have alot of real prettier girls of all colours and race with real hairs around me...what should make me want a fake (for all I care) on nairaland that I barely know? |
Softbamboo:Keep dreaming, helping your bored ministry by offering to Skype you sometime doesn't translate to crushing on you. Village girl even married people Skype. |
Softbamboo:My eyes are my finest features I dont want you all drolling.. and I didnt say I was interested in your sister..do I even know her? Would not mind skyping with you shasometimes, then you can see me without the colours and Droll as I said..No time for Skyping today sha...another time. |
Softbamboo:Whats wrong with my profile pics? What do you recommend I do to it? |
Softbamboo:Never knew I was on any list...I was just keeping a poor bored girl happy... |
Softbamboo:That can be arranged but you guys must be pleasing to my sight. And I dont need to marry you alongside your sister for what would people say? All you have to do is to suck my dick for 2years...thats all! |
Softbamboo:Is that all she wants? Doesn't she want an aeroplane too? See your mouth like monthly allowance. Yeye! |
Softbamboo:You should have acquaintances in Nigeria who can match you up if you're this desperate except, you guys dropped from the sky. |
Softbamboo:Really? If you are been sincere (although it doesn't seem) this is a very poor way to look for sensible suitors. And who in there right mind would want anything behind a moniker tilted smelling anus to be with em or their sister? Or is your sister that unattractive with no hope of dating that you are willing to give out to smelling anuses? |
Softbamboo, I take it you are bored and just passing time? |
Ndkings1:Which right thinking person ever believed that a man legally sojourning in a foreign land would be deported overnight? This is a none issue and that guy is only a Nigerian by name...he is an American in principle! |
Nigerians keep getting a hardon when a person of Nigerian descent gets appointed to an exalted position abroad. I always wonder what the whole Hullabaloo is about, what makes a man is it his environment or his name? For all I care that man is only Nigerian by name...He is a full blooded American and would work in Americas interest. Nigerians should focus on the myriad of issues before them. |
ireneony:If not for Me, my sister and mum (You use tintini fine pass my dad ) I would have said you are the most beautiful Homosapien in Nigeria. ![]() |
If you believe Buhari is not privy to that report that your mumu-zombiism is of the first class order
.... u could even marry both of us
