My dear, your dad is not the scale for judging all men. For the fact that your old dude cheats on your mum doesn't place all guys in his shoes. Some guys are brought up right and others also chose to be decent in every word.

There is nothing wrong with liking a guy or making your intent obvious. However you need to understand that a real gentleman might ignore your call if he is in a committed relationship or not just ready for you. We all have different make-up and there is nothing wrong with being emotional when occasion demands irrespective of your gender. Its is part of what make us human. However you should be able to control your emotion at a reasonable level and disallow events and circumstances to control you.
