You are right. The basic salary is the same for all military bodies in Nigeria. But the allowances tend to differs.

You should have calculated your age to correspond with your birth certificate and your school certificates before uploading it. They will ask you hard questions during your oral if they noticed that your age doesn't correspond with your certificates. I'v seen people looking like fish head when asked how they manage to enter secondary school at age 4 or lower.

Well, for NNBTS, it was just normal medical at first, from x-ray to blood and urine test, to some other tests where you'll be naked in front of the inspecting officers. After that, you'll do oral interview, and questions asked based on your category. So on the final day, you will run a 3.2km race and return within a specified time. Thats all what we NNBTS applicants did over there, but which category are you applying for?

Are you NNBTS or DSSC applicant? Cos we NNBTS applicants have gone to ph already.

It seems there's alot of waiting with the NN this days. NNBTS applicants too have been waiting since april for the final list. May God help us in this country o.

The only Admiral in the NN today, who also doubles as the only 4 star general in the Nigerian Armed Forces is Admiral Ola Sa'ad Ibrahim,the CDS..Though,I stand to be corrected,but am 99.99% sure.

Well, is ezeoba the CNS not a real admiral? Who knows, his uncle may be Ola Ibrahim now , and please are you an officer of the NN ni? If yes, do you have any info about the recruitment list?

adekanmbi1986: Yea ! Its good if u join with ND,much better than degree but its advisable u go for ur degree immediately u joined..Cus there are many infringements officer are entitled to, that NNBTS personnel are nt entitle to.

I'm glad we now have an officer in the house. My question is, if one gets picked via the normal recruitment, is it possible for one to apply for school? Or are there naval schools that issue equivalent degree certificates to new officials?
