God uses all this to preserver us but we are taking it like evil, it may be to preserve you for a new level. If Hanna would have been given a baby , who knows what would have happen to her?
Nairaland General › Re: Live Barreness Meeting With Prophet T.b Joshua by pmartins(op): 3:30pm On Dec 11, 2009
This good use we should make out how affliction, Hanna was very particular and modest in her partition with demonstration. Our affliction should be livelier, joyful, to our addresses to God. If actually everything you have is been borrowed from God? What are you to give?

Nairaland General › Fruit Of The Womb Meeting With Prophet T.b Joshua: by pmartins(op): 8:06pm On Dec 10, 2009
The pains and agonies suffered by those who are childless as a result of infertility, fibroid, low sperm count, and so on is better imagined than described. In some homes today, the devil has deliberately planted childlessness in order to destabilize many families and cause divorce, frustration and unhappiness. In some cases, the devil has succeeded in using his manipulative power to instigate husband against wife, mother- in-law against daughter -in-law and family against family. No wonder the Bible says, “The devil came to steal, kill and to destroy” (John 10:10). Whatever may be responsible for your childlessness, either known or unknown to medical expert, (or your doctor has just declared your case hopeless) you are going to testify before the Lord and His people!
The man in the Synagogue, Prophet T.B Joshua whom God is using mightily has declared 11TH DECEMBER, 2009 as a day God is going to remove all this stigma from the children of God. The prophet said that God wants to use him to usher people suffering from fibroid, low sperm count, infertility and so on into a new year of happy motherhood and happy fatherhood, for them to carry their own children instead of counting their past pains, agonies and condemnation.
This event will take place in the church auditorium and it will be televised to viewers around the world through Emmanuel T.V. However, please note that all children of God coming for this important gathering and wanting to partake in the blessing should come with certified medical reports. This is not for God! Medical report or not, God knows everybody and their problems. But the Bible says, “lf they don’t see, they won’t believe”. For this reason, it is important that everyone should come with his/her medical report for the viewers and on – lookers to believe that there is God in The Synagogue!
This Friday will therefore be a red letter day for the people looking unto God for the fruit of the womb, those with infertility, low sperm count, fibroid and all causes of childlessness and bareness as they are going to experience the handwork of God.
God is really speaking through the man of God, Prophet T.B Joshua and He will minister healing and solution to your problems. You can’t miss it because the last year event was a bomb of miracles and instant testimonies from all the people that partook in that service. Some even received their own healing at home through Emmanuel T.V. It was a day that will ever remain in the hearts of those who witnessed it – a day when their miracle was born!
Get ready, come and receive your own healing.

Nairaland General › Eaglet Stars Celebrate In Synagogue Church Of All Nation…… by pmartins(op): 8:53pm On Nov 25, 2009
Success in anything requires a lot of input as anything short of bringing out your best in any situation can cost a lot more than was ever put in.
The game of football demands more than having a good talent and skills to thrill the world. It entails a lot of package which only few footballers have been able to unwrap in their carriers. For EMMANUEL SANNI and ONAZI OGENYI knowing good football alone won’t do the trick is the beginning of wisdom for them.
At a glance, you would be hard pressed to understand why something, as simple as this could command a huge crowd of people. But it takes the will of God to celebrate icons.
Being an icon is a new dimension of success which always attracts the admiration of love one’s and well wishers.
Yesterday was a brand celebration of two icons, SANI EMMANUEL and ONAZI OGENYI at the Synagogue Church of all Nations, which will be an unforgettable event to everyone that stormed the church. These Eaglet stars will always remembered.
The celebration was full of fun and excitement from the beginning to the end of the celebration .I tried to look at people’s faces to see whether everyone was happy because sometimes we find ourselves smiling, where as some have different spells on their mind. But every face was filled with a smile.
This was the case with all the dignitaries that attended the Sunday service .I know many would ask “DIGNITARIES” don’t be surprised to hear that because to GOD’s house even the less privileged, orphans and widows are called.
The man of God {T.B JOSHUA} opened the occasion with a prayer and gave some words of wisdom to everyone to take home which was really food for thought. After this the Golden Boys gave some speeches and farewell messages to the congregation one after the other.
First of all they thanked almighty God for making it possible for PASTOR T.B JOSHUA, teammates {MY PEOPLE F.C} and the members, to support them with fasting and prayers.
The speeches went thus.
SUNDAY WORLD CUP SPEECH – SANI EMMANUEL
I am SANNI EMMANUEL. Number14 striker.
People of God, where can we go from His presence?
I want to say thank you for your prayers and support for the Under 17 World Cup. Although we did not win the Cup, in every situation God has something to say. God is still saying something.
I am here today to show you what God’s ability can do. As we all know, going by what happened on the field, I am undeserving. Yet, by the grace of God, today I am the best Under 17 player, all over the world. Here are the golden ball and the silver shoe.
Don’t forget that I was once a needy. I mean, I know what it is to be poor. I dedicate these awards to all the needy. I am going to start a foundation where scholarships will be given to the deserving ones and every proper means will be used to discover the talented – just as I was discovered by my father in the Lord, Prophet T.B. Joshua.
People of God, my documentary will speak better. I would like to leave the rest ‘til I go to my future club.
Thank you once again for your prayers for the Under 17 World Cup. No matter what happens, God is still saying something.
Finally, I would like to have a meeting with the youth, hopefully before I go to my future club. The purpose of the meeting is:
1. To encourage the youth that there is hope. Jesus is the hope.
2. I, without strength, fast legs, smoothness of tongue, if it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone who believes in Jesus.
Remember, better is not good enough; the best is yet to come.”
After he finished his speech ONAZI OGENYI continued by saying,
“I am Onazi Ogenyi Number 4 – Midfielder.
We are here today to thank you all for your prayers and support around the world. Without repeating ourselves, my brother has more or less said it all. We shall leave the rest ‘til we go to our future clubs.
Thank you again for your prayers and support for the Under 17 World Cup. We are here today to show you what God’s ability can do.
As Emmanuel has said, we would like to have a meeting with the youth.
The time and date of the meeting will be announced in many news media, e.g. Emmanuel TV and every available channel. We shall consider those who would be coming from outside the country to give them enough time to come. God bless.
Remember, better is not good enough; the best is yet to come.
After their speech some of the EAGLETS that were around were given the privilege to say something it was not all of them that came. Some of them lived very far and the time limit never allow them to make it . The keeper of the U-17 team DAMI PAUL, thank the man of God and members of the SCOAN for their support and prayers, on behalf of his colleagues and later continued with his testimony which was really pathetic and touching.
Everyone is so excited, when the floor was open for them to showcase their skills on the floor if they asked me to rate people for their performance on the floor, I would say everyone scratched the floor with different steps that had not been seen in the world of dancing. It was really a great day to remember.
The most talented people are here. Across the world, I don’t think they know the positive fact about Nigerians they know only about 419, yahoo! Yahoo! And they say Nigeria is corrupt, yes it’s true but we are also talented and beautiful people. I think football is the forefront of showcasing our talents to the rest of the world. When you see people like JAY JAY OKOCHA and KANU NWANKWO and what they are doing, they make you remember that Nigeria is not just about political turmoil.
How cool is SANNI EMMANUEL and ONAZI OGENYI?
Nigerians and the rest of the world are waiting to see them fly because they have all it takes to be the best the world over.

Nairaland General › Celebration Galore In Synagogue church of all nation. by pmartins(op): 4:26pm On Nov 21, 2009
In the aftermath of the U-17 WORLD CUP, nothing is heard about the EAGLETS and the crew. I hope they are still remembered because they really tried to get to the finals of the competition.
No news of any players going out for an offer from a big club outside the country. Is it that these clubs did not appreciate the way the EAGLETS ended up the game? Even If they did not like how they played outside, does it mean Nigerians are not going to appreciate them?
We just need to appreciate them because when everything seems to be rough in terms of football in Nigeria, those guys brought joy to this country. So, we can’t just forget them so soon; they are still good materials for our great country, Nigeria.
I know many out there will be asking of some great players among the EAGLETS, people like SANNI EMMANUEL, the MVP player and the golden boy of the tournament, ONAZI OGENYI, AZZEEZ and OKORO STANLEY etc. These names cannot be forgotten among the EAGLETS.
I learnt SANNI EMMANUEL and ONAZI OGENYI have gone back to the club {MY PEOPLE FC}. I started to wonder, with different questions running through my mind, whether MY PEOPLE FC is part of The Synagogue, Church of all Nations, Ikotun Egbe.
That means this Sunday there will be a great celebration in the church.
Will the EAGLETS be there?
But my mind keeps telling me that it will be a great day for the families of the players and The Synagogue.
Guess what, I will be there to view the entire celebration because I know what it means to embrace an achiever.
So, tell me will you be there?
Sports › Swede Coach Angry With Obuh Over Emmanuel's Displacement In Final by pmartins(op): 10:13pm On Nov 18, 2009
Read this in Sports Day,

Coach Ulf Sundqvist of top Swede side BK Odense has lambasted Golden Eaglets head coach, John Obuh for the tactical blunder that cost Nigeria her fourth FIFA U-17 World Cup title. The Nigerian kids fell via Serefovic second half header in the final played before a capacity crowd at the Abuja National Stadium.

Coach Obuh whose team had reached the final through the scoring prowess of super-sub, Sani Emmanuel who notched up five goals coming on from the bench was fielded in the first team in the final game following the injury of first choice striker Omoh Ojabu but contrary to popular opinion, coach Obuh pulled the player out in the 68th minute.

And in the opinion of Sundqvist “the Nigerian coach failed to understand that the five goals that Emmanuel had scored so far in the championship came between the 70th minute and the end of every game he played therefore commonsense demands that he should have allowed the player to be on the pitch at that point because there is every likelihood that he will score given his antecedents in previous games.

“I think the coach acted rather naively because he appeared frustrated by the couple of goal attempts Emmanuel made which he (coach) felt were selfish and probably could have passed the ball to his colleagues who were in better positions to score. He failed to understand that atimes a striker has to be selfish to get the job done more so, Emmanuel has been the light of the team’s attack by coming from the bench to rescue the team in most games in the championship and as a kid he probably had the notion that he had a sharper eye for goals.

“On that note I think the coach destroyed Nigeria’s chance of winning the trophy because even while the Swiss were 1-0 up many still had great hope in Emmanuel to deliver his team and his colleagues on the pitch would have been disappointed by the coach’s change because the player that carried the team’s goals hope had been withdrawn. It is really unfortunate that such wrong tactical decision was taken at that crucial stage of the game.”

Nairaland General › Great Eaglet by pmartins(op): 4:38pm On Nov 18, 2009
What a great welcome, from the pitch of play. I know many out there are tired and sick of Sunday’s game NIGERIA VS SWIZERLAND. They don’t need to be sick; those boys tried their best but only their best was not quite good enough.
From the start of the World Cup, no one thought that the EAGLETS would get to this stage but with our support and prayers, they flew into the finals of the competition. What an excellent work from patriotic Nigerians!
There are many things we need to check out from the beginning to the end of the game. I know if l asked people “What can you say about the match?” there will be some things that will be going through their minds.
“Why did coach Obuh remove SANI EMMANUEL from the match?”
The game was so tough for the boys to give us even just a goal but Switzerland made their way and netted the ball on our goal post, but still the EAGLETS tried to make it up but everything proved abortive. They snatched the cup from the Nigerian side with a lone goal. At that time, the faces of the fans were unsettled with great shock and unbelief. But I know that there must be a winner at the end of the game and that will be the best team of the game.
I just have this in my mind that maybe the cup is not for us and the better team won. There is nothing anyone can do about that; it is GOD’s will. There is a lot one can learn from what happened.
I started regaining my strength when the players were lining up for the medals. A HAPPY moment came when they gave SANI EMMANUEL the golden ball MVP {most valuable player} and the silver shoe. l know people out there are happy too because the boy really deserved it; he has shown the world that he is capable even with the short amount of time he was given to play. It is the lord’s doing, I thank God for his life.
Let me use this opportunity to thank you all for your support and understanding for all the pain and failure we have been facing in the game of football through the years. But the EAGLETS have brought joy and smiles to our face. Let’s encourage them because they will do more. The best is still yet to come.

Sani Emmanuel won the silver shoe and the most vital player award - so this means he is the best player - even if John Obuh refused to see it. He should sign for an awesome club and not allow allow that coach to destroy his career.

Hear l come again with a surprise form the heart, not from the minds because I have seen through the minds of many Nigerians out there.
And how will it be for the fans, Nigerians and Africans around the world to see the EAGLETS scale through into finals of the World Cup?
I know there are still more questions running in the heart and veins of many people all over the world.
I know many out there that viewed my last post will be asking themselves, is this guy a prophet that speaks what will happen on the pitch of a game like T.B JOSHUA. No, not in a rush, God is still saying something.
It only takes the mind of faith for someone to predict a match, but for a man of God - he knows everything about a match from the beginning to the end because anything that happens on the earth has already happened in heaven.
Last time l said watch out for SANI EMMANUEL. When he was substituted in the game of NIGERIA VS SPAIN, there was a great change in the game when he banged in 2 confirmed goals; don’t be surprised about the word “CONFIRMED” because it has already been destined by Baba GOD.
I know there are still more questions beating in the hearts and veins of many people all over the world.
Such as:
1. Will Nigerian win the world cup again?
2. Will SANI EMMANUEL touch the golden boot?
3. Will SANI EMMANUEL be in the starting lineup of the match against Switzerland?
What a question from the heart of fans and football lovers all over the world, l can feel it.
The finals will be a tough one but, it is all up to Nigeria for their support and prayers like they have been doing before the past matches played.
Lastly I forgot, let me thank all Nigerians for their support and prayers, they should not stop but continue more prayers than never before. GOD is still saying something.
Nairaland General › A Vital Tool To The World: T.b Joshua by pmartins(op): 7:23pm On Nov 14, 2009
Prophets have been a medium of communication between GOD and mankind according to the Old Testament in the Bible. They have ability of knowing the present, past and future events i.e. they have the ability of knowing what is God’s opinion about any situation to mankind.
From the Biblical perspective, prophets of God are always a mouthpiece of God and they have been a point of communication between the people of God of old.
But today in our present dispensation, the reverse is the case.
For example, if we consider prophets of the old like Samuel, Daniel, Elijah and Elisha etc; Giving by God to the people, they always act as means of communication to the children of God when there is calamity in the land. They seek the face of God through consulting the prophet of that time to know God’s opinion about situation of things before embarking on it.
Today in our present day light, the prophet of God “T.B JOSHUA” given to us by God has not been utilized to his fullest as a precious gift to mankind in our own time. He should be listened to, but today they neglect his presence to us all. Instead of accepting and appreciating him as a vital tool to our generation, they criticize him and through that they are blaspheming against God. Many people especially in the country of Nigeria (where he’s from), have no regards for him. As it has been said that “a king is never honored in his own land, (country)”.
For instance, the situation that happened of recent, when the prophet of God gave a prophecy concerning the Nigerian U-20 team in the just concluded world cup in Egypt to seek the face of God and to receive the grace before the competition commenced properly ,but the coach, Samson Siasia neglected him and at the end, he performed woefully. But the Ghanaian U-20 team coach confided in the prophet and everything he told him to do. He did what was God’s opinion about the situation of the team. At the end, everything came to pass and they won the trophy.
This is because the coach listened to him with all his heart. Sometimes we can listen to him, but don’t take the necessary precautions to avert the situation at that time. God in all ages has spoken through prophets so we can know this mind and usefulness of his mouthpiece to mankind. But why neglect, criticize and blaspheme in our own time?
If the world in our present time could learn to appreciate and accept the man of God “T.B JOSHUA” as a mouthpiece of God, I think God can speak his mind through him as a tool in solving problems for mankind in this present generation.
Even the greatest of all “economic problems” the whole world is facing today, can be resolved through the mouthpiece of God, T.B JOSHUA of our time. If prophets can tell the minds of God and also give what is God’s opinion about a situation and can see what the future holds, then why can’t this economic situation be averted through him?
Evidently, it is high time we consider him as the world’s most valuable tool to mankind in this our present dispensation. If only and only we can give him a little trail than criticizing him, the better our country will be.

What a rush for the minds of many out there, l guess the match will be a tough one, but only prayers can get us there. The stadium will be full of crowds of people because Lagos people are really very happy, when it comes to the game of football. And now their own country is playing a semi final match tomorrow, what do you think Lagos will look like in terms of fans and football lovers all over the world? I know it will be a great day of joy and happiness to the people of Nigeria.
But let me start with the question in many people’s minds concerning this match.
1. What is the line up going to look like?
2. Will SANNI EMMANUEL be in the starting line up of the match?
What a rush of questions from the people,
As far as football is concerned - l know many questions not listed here are still being asked by my people out there. If I continue searching the minds of people, that means the story will be a long one or an unfinished write up.
The main thing we need now is prayer to support the EAGLETS to glory. l know many NIGERIANS out there have started fasting and prayers already. l give those people KUDOS. I will tell you fans over there PRAY…. PRAY…. PRAY, no matter the condition the EAGLETS finds themselves, GOD almighty will surely see them through. Their best is yet to come.
Nairaland General › A Great Champion: T.b Joshua by pmartins(op): 4:33pm On Nov 11, 2009
You can champion the cause for change. A champion is someone who helps others achieve their goals and realize their dreams – someone who is passionate about the success of others. A champion fights not his own battles but battles to win for others.
A champion is an advocate and a defender; a leader and a deliverer who fights for the rights and honour of others and not for self or personal aggrandizement. Moses was such a man; he was raised by God not to deliver himself but to deliver Israel. It was David who stood up and killed the giant and brought the fear of Jehovah upon the philistines {1 Sam 17:20 – 58}. He also fought for the less privileged because he was a CHAMPION.
A man that carries all these attitudes of a champion does not do it on his own ground; it comes with the grace of God. There are many great champions in the world today, with various gifts of their own to make people successful in their future and career path.
There are some people like this that we can’t forget and even generations yet unborn will always talk about them.
Let me start with the life of T.B JOSHUA, ‘the man in the synagogue’, how he normally helps people spiritually, physically and emotionally with no call for alarm, all in the name of God. The sick get healed, widows are filled with joy and orphans are made to be happy without them thinking that there is nobody, but GOD the father of ALL that sees them through from the scratch dust to the top through the life of T.B JOSHUA.
TB Joshua is a man that gives people faith and believes that, there is hope and there is nothing that is impossible for God to do. No man succeeds alone; everybody needs good people around. No matter the situation you find yourself as a Christian, whether you have or not, you are destined to make a change in someone’s life. But every new season brings a new surprise; the more faithful and astute of us would call it fate, or inevitability. This season, it has been T.B JOSHUA.
The more you spend more on others and less for yourself i.e. when you bring joy to the faces of people that need what God has blessed you with – it’s a real privilege because we are blessed to bless others. Irrespective of your trade, position or place, we are charged to be a champion today.
God has brought us into that place of influence not to be served {Rom 13:1}. In other words, He wants us to be a champion, a role model and a deliverer. So, let us be passionate about the welfare, success and prosperity of others; fight for their rights; be their advocate and defender – champion their cause, let people see you as a favour. Know that you can be the catalyst for a change. Emulate great champions like T.B JOSHUA. You can inspire a change. Remember, it only takes a spark to light up a forest. God want you to be a champion for your world.
Nairaland General › Peace Maker: T.b Joshua by pmartins(op): 4:27pm On Nov 11, 2009
One of the most difficult jobs to do is be a peace maker; go ask Kofi Annan and even more recently Banki Moon. While peace may be cheaper, the reality is that it may not necessarily solve all problems because of the egoistic traits evident in every man.
Bellyache is part of nature’s mischief. Our wealth, race, education, connection, influence, abilities, knowledge and even physical strength often make us feel better than the other person or group. When this is contested, we do not always hesitate to challenge or oppose in God’s place by way of defeat. ln human nature most people believe only hypocrites advocate a win-win situation that is a draw . For us, real victory does not take place unless a party is defeated.
Prophet T.B JOSHUA has received a lot of criticism from all parts of the world, mostly my country Nigeria. Despite this, the ministry grows daily with thousands of people coming from different places all over the world. With every bout of criticism directed at him, he always maintains silence because he believes that God will fight for him. As Christians, we do not fight for God; He fights for himself and for us. When a man of God is silent to all criticism and blaspheming, this does not mean that God is not saying something because as a man of faith, God will always see him through. It is high time we learn not to judge our fellow humans. We should pray to God for more understanding and let God be the judge. The first time l visited the synagogue church of all nations, l saw the works of God in the life of Prophet T.B JOSHUA, where the needs are being helped and the sick are healed all in the name of JESUS CHRIST – I saw this with my own eyes. I saw scholarships given to scholars in the name of God - still people are not encouraged with all this. What are the kind of the good things they are expecting from him as a man of God? Because l don’t understand the world any more, where good things are being given a bad name, could l say the world is wicked or there is a lack of understanding of the scriptures. The Bible makes us to understand that we are not to judge our neighbour because God knows best. When judgement and blasphemy come from the mouth of people and the man they are calling names is growing every day - what an amazing Grace! If men are God that means no one is saved. It is now time to reason and think how to embrace an achiever because nothing good comes easy; there will always be trials and temptations but God promised to see us through. Jesus has made us leaders; he made us to be a light and an example to our world. A leader in this context doesn’t necessarily mean the head of an organisation but one who has direction and superior information – I mean someone who hears the voice of God; one who knows the way and can provide guidance for others to reach their destinations of success. This is something every Christian needs to do, to become an example of God’s kind of life to those in your group, not to pray for someone else’s downfall,

“If the anointing of God in our life is not genuine, these are the people that will terminate our life.”

These were the words TB Joshua uttered on Sunday 25th October, 2009 after removing a gun from a man who had come out in response to a prophetic message minutes earlier.

Yes, it is prophecy time during The SCOAN live service, where viewers worldwide watch as the prophet calls out different cases, often detailing even their name and physical appearance. Little did 41-year-old Mr. Progress Lampard from Delta, Nigeria or those around him know that he was soon to be exposed. Then came the unmistakable voice of the prophet: “There’s a brother – you have a weapon in your hand – gun. You put on white”.

The crowd watched intently as Mr. Progress, dressed in white, came out and walked towards TB Joshua. In what was more a spiritual disarmament than a physical one, TB Joshua took the gun and more importantly delivered the man from the spirit that had been controlling him. As the prophet explained, it was not the weapon but the spirit behind it that made him an armed robber.

After Progress’ deliverance, he spoke out and explained that he had had the gun since 2000, when he bought it with the express purpose of killing his father who had abandoned him when he was just three years old - in 1971. After ascertaining from his mother that his father was from Benue, Nigeria, he set off. “I bought this gun. I said, ‘I’m going to look for him. When I see him, I will kill him’ ”. Having failed to find his father, Progress returned to Delta where he explained that, “the spirit of destruction, killing, armed robbers, molesting people came upon me”.

During this time Progress, an armed robber, also described himself as a family man, stating that he had 13 children from 5 different wives.

It was after watching Emmanuel TV in Delta, where he saw other armed robbers being delivered and receiving their freedom, that he was compelled to travel to Lagos to visit The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations for himself. It was there on his first visit, seated amongst the newcomers, that TB Joshua had given the prophecy about a man with a gun, dressed in white.

After testifying to his deliverance, Progress spent a week within the church premises and the following week, 1st November 2009, attended another service. As he explained his case and how he was unable to provide school fees for his children, TB Joshua addressed the congregation and viewers saying, “Forget about the past. Whatever he might have done, leave it for God.” He then proceeded to present him with a gift of 200,000 naira and 6 bags of rice to support his family and send his children to school.

Thousands watched as the ex-armed robber blinked back tears of joy as he held in his hands the 200,000 naira and a copy of the Bible. “I am talking to those living the same life I was living before. Why don’t you take the same step I have taken today? Come to Jesus. He will accept you as He did me. He will forgive you your sins and restore you back to normal life.”

As the congregation rose to sing a song of thanksgiving, I’m sure it must have crossed the minds of those present and those watching around the world – “If not for that prophecy, could he have left that life? Or more importantly, would that spirit have left him?”

The power of prophecy in the life of Prophet TB Joshua is a powerful catalyst in the ministry of reformation – where, after prophetic revelations, prostitutes, armed robbers and cult members respond and receive deliverance, freedom and a new life.
