I simply don't understand those who claim 'all Muslims are potential terrorists', even when though they are still alive, despite undoubtedly coming across several Muslims in their miserable lives. You live in mixed societies where Muslims are around you, yet they didn't kill you, nor ever attempted killing you and you still have the effontery to label all Muslims as potential terrorists? You definitely are insane, no apologies. Fact remains "terrorism/crime has no gender, race, religion, ethnicity or culture". |

Quite revealing and captivating, like a well-scripted Hollywood/Bollywood movie. I wish I could see the end. |
danielchioboy:Bigot. Liar. |

As usual, blame everyone else except GEJ's FG. Well done |
Say what you want, it is very obvious that the Government let the Boko Haram menance fester, with the hope of playing it as the last joker for political leverage in the coming elections. The postponement of the elections butresses this fact. The PDP led Government wasted the early campaign period promoting negative propaganda against the APC Presidential candidate. When that didn't work, Mr. President must have resorted to play this 'winning the war against Boko Haram card'. Unfortunately, Nigerians are easily swayed by silly sentiments. If this isn't so, they should have asked the following questions: #How did the Boko Haram fighters that allegedly fought with sticks and stones in the beginning rapidly become so sophisticated as to become invinsible and elusive to our 'gallant military' for many years. #Why were the sponsors of the sect, which the President implied he knew not hounded? This surely would have made the war very esy to win. #Why will the foreign security forces that offered to help secure the release of the Chibok girls pull out of the operations that abruptly? Before you start blabbing rubbish about the US, I should remind you it wasn't only the US that offered help. So you can as well spin conspiracy theories about the other nations that offered help. #And several other pertinent questions I will refrain from bringing up, due to space limitation. Parting shot: No sincere Nigerian is unhappy about the military 'winning the war against the insurgents', but why this late? Too much has been lost. And you can't come here to deceive us that the military couldn't have done the 'Baga recapture in three hours operation' in five years before now. This is pure deceit that can not be pardoned. Period! |
The same they once told us is seriously ill and even accused of suffering from Parkinson's disease wants to succeed Buhari as President of the FRN? Like seriously? ![]() They are not even consistent in fabricating falsehood. Haba! |
Fayose's unruly conduct is seriously getting out of hand. His acts are illustrative of someone possessed with a strange mental illness. It seems like he is trying to outdo FFK, Olisa Metuh, Asari and others. He prolly wants to prove to Mr. GEJ that he is more qualified than FFK for his current post. Unfortunately, he is dragging the integrity of Ekiti State in the mud, even though he can boast of none himself. This is the most pathetic part of the whole circus show by Mr. Fayose. My heart goes out to those good people of Ekiti that have never been a party to making this shame of a Governor. |
While I sincerely condole with the bereaved families, I am dumbfounded at how desperately the presidency is painting the death of these women as the passing away of heroines that were on a worthy cause. Of course, the President and his family/well-wishers are totally allowed to mourn the departed souls as long as they wish, but they should not impose it on the nation that this is a national tragedy. We have too many victims of Government's negligence who are more deserving of honor than these departed souls. I will refrain from mentioning such instances, but the truth stares us all, evn if we refuse to tell it. No hard feelings. |
Truckpusher:Two things are obviously wrong in your submission: 1) You probably don't know what it means to exploit someone. 2) You were to bitter to read that she had her Mum guiding her all the way through. It is clearly implied in the letter. Don't be a hater |
Amazing! This is not just about supporting the APC. In all fairness, I must say the innocence expressed in the touching. Why won't supposed youths on this forum shun bitter politics a bit and appreciate the fact that this is just like a 9-year old will write. A forged letter will not express vice-president as 'assistant president' and such other childish excerpts. Many have indeed lost touch with reality because of the bitterness partisan politics has caused them. That's sad, really. |
authenticated:Don't get it twisted. The PDP over-flogged the matter and gave it the undue hype. Even the statement made it clear it was just a 'private meeting'. If the PDP didn't spin the conspiracy theory of ill health around it, there won't have been the need for the inquiry by media houses. Definitely, this is even bringing the country into disrepute. Pathetic though. |
Let me spin a conspiracy theory. ![]() Am I the only one thinking FFK/Fayose/Okupe bought barcanista's Nairaland account? If not, it appears the young/old man was clearly over-hyped. Still observing... |
barcanista:If this is what you deem as an appropriate response to my argument, I must express my unbiased disappointment in your over-hyped 'brilliant contributions' to an intellectual discourse. You didn't address my point, so I rest my case. Also, you don't need to sound like a kid caught in the act. Seriously, I'm not holding a cane to flog you with, please. Still observing... |
lawrsmith:You clearly do not understand my post. With all due respect, I see no debate here. |
TheOtherview:Glad to know you understand the message in my post, as opposed to the other bros that quoted me. Thank you. |
Amazing! I sincerely have to commend the writer's extensive analysis of the facts on ground. It is also commendable that the writer has not taken away the achievements of the president in agriculture, et al, but has highlighted his failure as a competent leader only. This is very fair and I will advice the PDP team to take note of this, rather than unwarranted bashing of the writer's person. You can look up the website where this was quoted from and you will know the President gets credit for whatever he does right. Kudos to the writer for also rightly pointing out that the APC and their candidate are not without their own flaws too. My parting shot is that the author of this piece has done a very brilliant job and we should all take a cue from this, rather than been irrational and partisan in our contributions to national discourse. |
scribble:You couldn't help displaying your ignorance. Pathetic! Where you in coma when GEJ boasted on CNN that the common man can attest to the fact there's light everywhere or when he recently claimed 'he has delivered on his power supply promises'? Bring on another storyline, abeg. |
barcanista:Seriously, your current condition is pathetic. You've been reduced to a cry-baby. Too naive. I learnt you were an 'intelligent analyst', but I'm still waiting to see at least, a trace of that, irrespective of your new political inclination. To address your feeble argument against that allegation, who doesn't know each side of the political divide have moles within the ranks of the other? We all read of OBJ's monitoring of Atiku's camp, without the other been aware. So what childish talk are you posting here? Before you start another childish argument, this post is not intended to agree with Fashola's allegation, but to point out how weak and silly your argument is. Still waiting to see a flash of your 'intelligence'. |
Dexema: ![]() I won't like to be sued for impersonation. I'm handing off this. ![]() |
Dexema: ![]() Quite amusing. No sir. I have never even come across him anywhere before. I'm only learning to be the change I want to see in Nigeria. Life is easier when you are at peace with yourself and with others. In fact, I have decided to vote for love and tolerance in 2015 to steer the ship of this country. When we learn to shun bitterness and deal with one another with sincerity and honesty, then our diversity will start to manifest as a blessing in propelling us to greater heights. Pardon my story-story. ![]() |
Why not? Whatever way you can 'preach the gospel' is fair. If you are arguing against, please provide logical verifiable evidence, not rash emotional outbursts. ![]() |
Akpan107:It's only fair to respect your opinion. May the glory of our country be restored, so that it becomes a safe haven for us to live in. |
I hope Mr. Reno Omokri will take this up. It is time Nigeria took a cue from the likes of the USA that make the protection of lives and dignity of their citizens an utmost priority. Believe me, thes little things count in judging responsible leaders. I condole with the bereaved family. |
Akpan107:The truth is we can only vouch for our own intentions, not another man's. I hope you understand this? In that light and without being partisan, may the best man for the job get it. |
Fence-mending visit on behalf of GMB? Not a bad idea at all. We should all emulate the attitude of making peace, not war. Commendable. |
Lesgupnigeria:Ok. |
Lesgupnigeria:Ok then, I will try and keep correspondence througl emails. I hope you respond quick to emails? |
Lesgupnigeria:Is there room for new entrants? |
ndcide:Thank you. |
ndcide:It's due to the mistrust between the ruling class and the citizens. This is not peculiar to Nigeria alone. By now, the rational minded should see reason with the postponement that whatever political undertones underlining it, it was still the best decision. My objective take. |

in case if you're unlettered like your saint buari.where goodluck is sharing the said dollars, this statement remains baseles.is fashola at the event when Mr. president was sharing the said dollar?so if fashola is sure of this statement, he should save Nigerians the stress of this argument by providing the evidence that mr.president is sharing the money as he alleged.so you should stop been gullible and present ur argument with fact.
