ASKING FOR YOUR OPINION

I'm enjoying everyone's participation in the Word and Number Throne Game. We should clap for ourselves for making the thread interesting. We can do more however.

As it is now this thread can go on forever. The advantage of this is that it creates an avenue for bonding and continuous creative interaction has you might have noticed. While that is positive, there will likely be no one to occupy the Thread's throne except the person who refuses to get tired of constructing new sentences.

I'm thinking of modifying the rules a bit to allow a winner emerge after which the contest for another throne will commence. This can stimulate more interest although it is definitely going to be more challenging and maybe time-bound.

So what do you think house? Should the tougher game begin? Or should we continue as the game is now? If you want continuity just add CONTINUITY below your next post or quote this post and say CONTINUITY. If you want change just do the same but say CHANGE instead. (No PDP or APC sentiments o )

Meanwhile let's keep the game going. Let's end the vote by 3pm tomorrow (01/07/2015). No multiple voting o.

Don't you think we should organize law suit against these people for public deception and for taking advantage of people.

Imagine someone who has applied for too many jobs to remember all, who is far away traveling down to Lagos for the "interview" .. only to discover it is GNLD. If you can deceive people into your business why should they trust anything you have to say(the rewards and remunerations).

PMIcon . Thanks for the info bro, I already enrolled for one of their course but I'm not familiar with their process. Am used to coursera.com where lecture notes and videos are made available for downloads each week and then quizzes too. Pls can you shed more light on how Alison works? Thanks

Just register and then select any course. There are different modalities depending on the publisher but it's usually interactive. You read online from the website and watch videos if available for that course. When you are through with a course, you will also go through an exam online. If you pass, you will be sent a mail to that effect apart from seeing the result.
You can decide to then buy the certificate.

Hello guys, let's play this game I called "Word and Number Throne".

The Instructions:

FIRST RULES (See Modification after this)

1. You are to form a FULL sentence that contains numbers THREE to TEN

2. The sentence must contain the same number of words as the number you include. For example if you use "five" as part of the sentence, the sentence must have exactly five words.

3. You must use numbers in normal sequence from three to ten and back to three. If someone starts with three, the next person will be four and the next five etc

4. You win the thread's throne if no new post appears after 48 hours.

So who will start?

FIRST MODIFICATION&ADDITIONS (02/07/2015)

** First rules 1-3 still holds**
I will however be modifying rule one with every new round

4. If your post contains up to three correct sentences (relevant to the game), you can instruct whoever wants to make the next post to use a particular word. If the instruction is not obeyed then the post becomes invalid.

5. Apart from the above, EVERY new post in the game must contain at least one word from the last post to be valid.

6. Except when a conversation was initiated by the last post that you are responding to, you must not use sentences that are similar to the last post

7. Lastly for now, I have reduced the time for winner to emerge to 24 hours after the last post.

They were on a rescue mission to hunt down this big Lion that had been harassing the neighborhood and had even killed someone. However the game changed; the hunter became the hunted.

These hunters found the Lion. One of them tried to fire a shot in an attempt to kill it in full view of the Lion. Suddenly, the wild beast attacked. The hunters kept missing target has they fired rounds of shots until the Lion got close enough to attack the man it focused on- the hunter who had aimed the gun at it.

Just before the powerful jaws and claws of the landed on him, one shot hit the beast but that wasn't the end- it attacked again. It took a second shot to finally get the lion down.
