I've talked about the death trap built by Okorocha in owerre in the name of flyover, the below substandard built by Okezie, the one by Peter Obi in Awka and the current substandard one being built by Soludo. Flyovers are built to last over 50yrs+.

During his time as a governor, he embarked on infrastructural development that may benefit his state.
At every point in time, a leader is chosen to solve the critical problems of the state, but our honourable minister of work decided it is best to "solve a future problem" and leave the now problems, thereby creating more issues for the now and the future.
Yes the "solve a future problem" in quote because it will never solve any future problem.
I will explain using 2 areas.
1. Building flyovers: Ebonyi state doesn't have a traffic problem. I seriously wondered what was going through his mind when he decided to start building flyovers. These flyovers when not in use and maintained will definitely crack down. All that money wasted should have been used in doing all the internal roads in Ebonyi and creating jobs. By the time Ebonyi starts having traffic issues in the future, whosoever will be the governor will handle that then.

2. Building Airport: Ebonyi is one of the poorest state in Nigeria, there are no major industries or business that will cause inflow of people to be running down the state every now and then via flights.
I bet that airport may never be used in the next 10yrs and it will always be a heavy burden on whoever will become the state governor, as it will be requiring constant maintenance or left to dilapidate. Resources that would be used for other projects will now be channelled into maintenance of a ghost airport or just leave it to waste. In either ways, the lean resources of the state is wasted.

I agree with you completely. I also raised the matter when he was trying to build airport. You see all these politicians, they don't think. The man was trying to position himself as the next president of Nigeria as he knew it was South East's turn. So he went about erecting White elephant and usIess projecs just to have campaign/bragging cum chest beating instruments. That was why he and Soludo were openly opposing Peter Obi. Yes. That was why they refused to support Peter Obi because for their mind Peter Obi becoming the president will not let them be. Soludo's case was pathetic because his village is just a stone throw from Peter Obi's village.
Somebody called them Fulani slaves. Actually I don't know if that is too hash but politicians don't think because if you saw how Soludo was going about saying that Peter Obi will not win , you will know that his life depended on Peter Obi's failure.. he actually started breathing well again only after Peter lost. Sooo sad.
