Mattswaggz:Lol, I was shocked when one literate politician was saying South East governors have satellite in their region.. I first shock like I’ve been underground for decades |
FatimaAbubakar:Lol, because he enter bush to smoke out jihadists and your people from his father land bush. And that your late uncle couldn’t kill him like they killed Akintola. |
insidelife22:How’s killing native people freedom fighting? How’s capitalizing on illiteracy and poverty, just as every politicians freedom fighting? Education is eventually not a scam!! |
helinues:It is not about congress sir… The death of eleweomo wasn’t from congress The impeachment of governor wasn’t from congress Exchange of power writhing the National Union wasn’t from congress It’s just how much visible power given to the Union by the governors. Late Ajimobi can use Tokyo to head the Union, but he said no with the reason “you’ve went to prison with the charge of murder”… |
helinues:Oyo state people are familiar with that kind of thing in every PDP regime, the only time there was such rest, was throughout late Ajimobi’s era. I was shocked it didn’t happened in Makinde’s first term, though people expected it after he decided to use the Ex-Convict as his NURTW chairman. |
mikeapollo:Lol, copying from Israel? What are you guys even saying, not saying to their citizens!! Why is Israel guilt at ICC if they are doing this as you claimed. IDF wey shoot kid more than 50 times na him dey notify civilians before bombing. Jew that is looking for hostage to rape will never notify before bombing or invading. |
Raf4:Lol, I’ve got no point debating with you. Since that’s all you know about the war |
LagosOrigin:Lol, why are you people refusing to say the truth? U.S. and Israel first strike landed in girls school. Iran giving notice before sending bombs means what? They even sent messages to the people of Israel, telling them to vacate… U.S. have no value for Muslims lives “civilian or military”, and Israel no value either Muslims or Christians lives “civilians ’baby, kids, teen, woman, or disabled’. I am so sure so many people supported Hitler then, just as we’ve got so many supporting Natayhahu now… |
tiswell:The bad leaderships and their followers are Ghanaian? |
kettykin:This is actually a good question, I will answer according to my own view. 1. The benefits of this project is much, great road has so many economical benefits. Roads connecting regions shouldn’t be fixed, I feel there should be multiple roads for security reasons “when there’s multiple roads leading to same region, there will be options and decongestion leading to swift supply chain and policies can be made to tie heavy trucks to one while we hope the government builds railways that will eventually reduce heavy truck’s travel distances, making journeys more safe and swift for cars and buses. 2. And for the Grid, I don’t know why I always find it difficult to blame the government for that “because, I am so confident if there were private power generating plants, just as we have so many private oil drilling companies companies competing with NNPC” the grid will keep getting bad. Our population is not stagnant, but our power generation is more of stagnant for too long. More hands are needed, even if the government increases the power output, it still can never serve us. China never stop generating power, even doing more research to keep that growing “though, we can’t compare china’s type of economy to any country’s because of their government system style is different. The structure we have can accommodate more power, but we are producing less. NEPA needs competitors, not just distributors. And it sincerely will be harsh, if the presidency bans importations of generators, solar panels, and inverters for investors to look into investing in power generating locally. It should be other way “people invest in power generating locally first, then policy will be made to curb importation”. 3. The last one, should we be doing this now? Well, I think that answer tracks back to the company handling some projects, we as Nigerians are not used to the kind of HiTech MO, the projects the company is handling looks promising than that any other company is handling, and that’s because HiTech uses their money ahead of payments from Government. They get their boots on ground immediately they secured projects, compared to other companies that get payments first, work while the payment last, then stop till another deposit is made. Their MO makes it looks like there are priorities across the projects they are handling compared to other approved projects. Just my view, I’m not trying to be the Omni-knowest. |
PigTormentor:Yes, but Nigerians with the money will rather import solars and generators. I think people with the money are afraid of getting pounced on by importers, just as dem Oil importers almost drag Dangote down. And the bitter truth is, if anyone get to invest there, the public might eventually chant monopolist and I feel not everyone can handle such pressure. The Governors could kick start such projects and partner with private body, since the federal has given them the chance to. Only God knows what’s delaying that |
PigTormentor:Just like the refineries, the power sector can’t function well with just government supplying the Grid. No matter how much they try, na the minister I just pity… We need investments in power sector, not generator importers.. I just hope they don’t spend too much before they realize. |
If only Government is the one supplying the grid with only hydropower, it will keep getting worse. Not until investors start seeing value in generating power through either windmills, nuclear, or even coal, and create competition in the power sector, na only then things fit get better. All this private Discos, that all they do is just to distribute what government supplies is not what will make us power stable!! |
Mattswaggz:You need to answer your question if you think the post has nothing to do with your comment |
Mattswaggz:Lol, funny how you people tagged anyone that doesn’t fit into your scope of thinking insane. That automatically makes the insane person. God wey no put everyone for one race no know wetin hin dey do? |
Lol, 85% Nigerian Muslims are Sunni which is directly affiliated to America and Israel. If terrorism is to be traced to the Muslim religion then I think the Sunni should be checked and the last time I checked, America funded and trained all Sunni terrorists across the world!! Religion shouldn’t be the reasons for killing btw, but when CIA sees a loop hole even in LOVE, it will be a better weapon than religion |
CyynthiaKiss:Democracy cost all this!!! Abacha’s quote “any insurgency that last more than 24hrs, means the government is involved” actually doesn’t apply to democracy!! In democracy it is the people, just imagine a region protesting against army fighting bandits and terrorists. And if government intervenes, they will threaten not to vote for such governor or president. I still believe all this terrorism won’t stop in some region even if the state police become effective today! It’s insane that Gumi is still walking freely for advocating against terrors, and Igboho was tagged as terrorist for confronting terrorists in the bush “was even scheduled for killing before the tag went live”. |
safarifarms:That was a soft landing, the killing of supreme leader wasn’t even war. Attacking a country in the middle of negotiation is catching them off guard, just funny how you people analyze war. Israel against Palestine wasn’t a war. It almost looks the same with Russia against Ukraine until you find out how many countries were in frontline with Ukraine.. War in Ukraine has already exhausted EU, and U.S. economically and it’s made NATO vulnerable as most of them has sent their weapons there. Russia didn’t win wars (Napoleon invasion and ww2) because they have firepower than their opponents, but because they outlasted their enemies. I don’t blame Trump for the war, the U.S. needs to fight all this war to secure so much they’ve lose, they actually don’t care if this leads to ww3 as they don’t want to drop off the power softly, that will be more shameful. For everyone following U.S. in labeling regimes and people terrorists, you guys need to be educated and look into history. There will be nothing called terrorism in this world of today without CIA!!! |
Rayjnr:Lol, defending elites. Was it given to them for free? Nobody stopped elites from oil producing regions from owning a well, but they preferred importations. I don’t know when investors turned into criminals, naso una go dey shout Dangote monopolizing business that every other elites were clearly watching from afar. If someone decided to invest big in power generation “wind turbines or nuclear plants” now, and people start choosing their services over buying generators, una go come out to defend the generator importers.. Don’t just be literate “someone that went to school, only to be able to read”, but educated “understand what you read”! |
yemmit90:That was never his job, that’s NURTW’s thug work. He has been a security aide for politicians just as he served as the main security agent for Ladoja back then. And it’s just still funny how people compare him with Kanu, he never kill yorubas to force them to create the Yoruba nation. One thing people refused to know is that, there’s no way South East will develop if Kanu is a free man, one reasons SE leaders didn’t really push for his release.. He didn’t fight to be autonomous like them Niger Delta men. If his boys protected the region from terrors, gives people confidence to invest in the region resulting to a rapid growth in the region, then there will be no reason for him not to be a great asset that could demand big from the FG |
Rayjnr:Lol, I think I understand why the oil rich states are trying to be alone.. Make dem use oil money of states with fewer unemployed people to pay the region with most unemployed people?? You didn’t even say taxpayers’ money, na oil money you target. Try to re examine things before submitting your post |
orikoku:How did he rubbish him? Na him pikin wan rubbish him, if wizkid rubbish him, he won’t have his tattoo on his body. We grew up comparing new talents to industry OG, in every entertainment industry even in politics. Seun Kuti finding that offensive worsen the matter.. Make Messi and him family dey fight people for calling rising players “the new Messi” |
[quote author=Malagans post=138651270] |
Malagans:If the people get better, it definitely will. When government doesn’t need to force us to keep the nation clean. When we understand there are so many problems only ourselves can solve and not wait for foreigners to come and experience the problem first before creating the solution we need. When the people know exactly what they want and how best to get it, not falling for politicians or people telling them there’s easy way to get it. |
Malagans:The country is Nigeria The people are Nigerian, Nigerians need to change and invest a lot to make Nigeria a better place. |
Nackzy:Country failed no one, people failed their country!!! No be country rule herself, na people wey dey there. Country that offered you so many minerals, fertile land, and great weather don do the best she could do, na people dey mismanage her!!! |
Nigerians!! They went there willingly and when things go as they don’t expect, they will come up and be lying about being kidnapped or trafficked there. Some of them will kuku come online again to say “make una no mind them, na them dey over do”. I remember seeing travel agents posting slot for Russia Military available, I laughed the day I saw the post, I was like “e don reach the level of applying for military, all in the name of japa”, not till I see some propaganda saying “Nigerians were lied to, to come and fight for Russia”… Acting innocent for something you did intentionally is actually what not being accountable is, and it’s what our leaders too are. |
Biggeststar01:Lol, in which line? That means you will join the Fulanis to avoid getting killed by them? I don’t fall in line with wrong because of survival |
JetStar:Vowed to kill Israel? Israel and U.S. are actually running away from their shadows. Go and read extensively about the government Israel and U.S. backed in Iran, maybe you will know what led to that chant that they are clinging on to as threat.. Did Venezuela, Egypt, and Palestine “with no army” vowed to kill Israel too. I wish most of us will put aside all this religion and face the geopolitical events involved in all this.. |
franchasng:Your second paragraph is great but it is the most difficult thing to do in a democratic nation, because most politicians won’t be cool with it and it definitely might lead to impeachment or even delays in passing such bill till such president term is over. Maybe in a party state, it can happen or even a majority member of house, just as the current president is enjoying that now. Bills being signed are faster than we’ve experienced because the party of the majority is that of the ruling party and the president has no superior “a godfather” to question his opinions. I feel Tinubu is still one way being fair with implementing some bills that he knows will affect people he needs, “an instance of it is the LG autonomy, he can actually leave it for the Supreme Court to handle, but the last time it was discussed, he was still warning them to abide by it or else he wouldn’t have any choice than to let the SC do their job”. I don’t see any reasonable cards opposition can actually play that will outperformed this current government, except on terrorism and banditry which still crackdown to the voting power that they need from the regions that is massively affected by this situation. |
osazsky:Just two, and it even landed on a football field, no casualties or injuries reported. |
JetStar:They killed 40k citizens 😂😂 And immediately the bomb start falling, the people supports their leaders.. believing the people of Iran are against their leader is actually a sheep’s thought.. as far as CIA still exist, any protest against regime change in Middle East is sponsored, it won’t make it to their news that people of Bahrain are celebrating the hit on the American facilities in their country. Palestine too were killing their people too now, before Israel started bombing schools, hospitals, and shooting at kids. It’s just so sad that Nigeria is filled up with uneducated literates. |
.
It's only Israel that does that to the civilians in enemy's country. Israel also have the technology to identify the incoming missiles and alert the people in the vicinity of the targeted areas.
