TravelRe: What Is The Citizenship Of A Baby Born On An Airplane? by pooozeee(m): 7:12pm On Jan 27, 2018
The baby could also acquire its citizenship based on the aircraft at which they were flying
E.g
1. Dana air.... The baby becomes a dananian
2. Arik.... The baby becomes Arikian
3. Emirate..... The baby becomes Emirian
4. Egypt air.... The baby becomes Egyptian
5. Cargo airline.... The baby becomes cargorian
TravelRe: What Is The Citizenship Of A Baby Born On An Airplane? by pooozeee(m): 7:05pm On Jan 27, 2018
The child will have its citizenship approved depending on the ozone layer at which the plane was flying at that moment
CareerRe: Security Guard With Master's Degree Gets N250K After Encounter With Man In Lagos by pooozeee(m): 5:14pm On Jan 27, 2018
ChangeIsCostant:
A Nigerian man with a big heart, Jude Idada (pictured below) has narrated his encounter with a Masters degree holder who works as a security guard in Ikeja area of Lagos. After paying for his transport fare and buying him food, the good Samaritan, Jude, also gave the man some money to take care of himself.

The interesting part is that the good Samaritan also told his wealthy friend about the man he met on the bus and how he is struggling to take care of his family with two jobs. His friend transferred N250,000 to the man after speaking with him on the phone.

Read what the good Samaritan Jude shared on Facebook;

These things you can't see just by looking at a person.

In the bus from Sabo, Yaba to Obalende, the man sitting by me kept handling his pockets for the extra money the conductor was requesting for.

He had thought it was 100 naira and was surprised it was 200 naira.

I told him not to bother and paid it.

He was efusive with thanks and no sooner called a woman who was standing by the road with a tray of bread and butter.

100 naira bread.

She asked if he wanted some butter.

He answered in the negative.

I looked at him.

He was staring at the woman with such concentration as she packed up the bread.

He noticed my gaze and turned to me.

There was an apologetic smile on his face.

"Sorry bros, but I never eat since morning."

It was 7.45 p.m.

Already dark.

I smiled, turned to the woman and asked her to butter up the bread.

I called out to another hawker who was passing with a pack of cold drinks.

I turned to him and asked what he wanted.

He was looking at me dumbstruck.

The conductor pounded on the roof of the bus. A signal to the driver that it was time to move.

The driver engaged the gear and was about to move, it was as though the slight jerk of the boss awakened the man.

He hollered.

"Duro!"

The driver stopped.

"Kilon shele?"

"Mo fe ra onje."

"Shey kia!"

He turned to me.

"Coke."

I bought two bottles of coke and paid for the bread.

The bus hurtled away towards Obalende.

And he told me a tale of woe.

Masters degree holder but working as a security guard in Ikeja.

Resuming today as a security guard in VI for the night shift.

2 jobs.

A wife and a kid.

I listened.

We got to Obalende.

Gave him some more money.

Stopped him from kneeling down in the bus park in gratitude.

Exchanged numbers and bade him farewell.

From there I headed to the Japanese restaurant Shiro in VI for dinner with my very wealthy friend.

And I told him of my decision to travel Lagos by bus for a week and more to meet the 'real' Lagosians.

He was intrigued.

Then I told him of the man I had just met on my way from Yaba.

And he was moved.

So moved that he had me call him and he spoke with him.

After which he collected his bank details and right in my presence, he transferred 250k to the man.

My eyes are misty.

In this city there are demons and there are angels.

I am happy that my friend proved to be the latter.

And a life was touched.

Lagos.

@pooozeee, let me analyse it in another way if it will further help you or anyone in case of future reoccurence.

The following map originated from your post I am quoting or replying to. I just have to zoom into the map area which is what matter most.
Now, I want you to first forget any grammar that preceeded the map so as to have an open mind.
For the next 10 seconds, please look at the first picture below and try to see if you could identify something that is wrong with it.

Ok. Now let us look at the second picture together.
You will notice 4 additions to the second picture. Namely, 1, 2, Irregular Red Circle and Green Circle respectively.
How did that got there huh
I added them grin
The number 1 is where you pick your rider ( i.e 96, Adeniran Ogunsanya St, Surulere.)
The Green Circle on the map confirms that your trip began at Adeniran Ogunsanya St, Surulere. That's cool right? YES!
Number 2 is where your rider drop off. (i.e Adekunle Kuye St., Animashahun, Surulere).
The Red Circle on the map shows that your trip did not end at point number 2, but ended at the beginning of Akerele Street, (beside Alhaji Masha/Adeniran Ogunsanya flyover bridge) as against Adekunle Kuye St, Animashahun.
Did you just ask, 'How is that suppose to be my concern?'

The Orange lines addition to the 3rd picture answer that question.
Can you see that perfect straight line from point 2 to point 3 on the map? shocked shocked
Can you please tell me if you really drive through on that straight line ?
Simply put, Their is no such way to drive through smoothly from point 2 to 3 in that area.

Finally, look at the 4th picture.
Compare the blue highlighted area with the orange highlighted area. What can you deduce?
For me, I can see that your GPS did a very good job from the green to the red points in the blue highlighted area but failed or malfunctioned in the orange shaded area. Gaskiya walahi.
@schipol, ur analysis is right

Adekunle kuye street was suppose to be my last destination with the rider, upon arrival at kuye street, one person alighted from my vehicle, the other person requested I continue the trip and dropped off at Nwanneri street, I ended the trip at Nwanneri street but kuye street was registered on uber network as the final destination, I think that was the problem, ending the trip in an unknown location to uber

lemee recommended 3 phones for you.
Huawei p8
Galaxy s6/s6edge
Gionee S6s
Thank me later
This is not a phone problem, riders fraud was detected and it happens to all card trips not cash

To proof this to u, I had both cash and card trip yesterday, one of my card trip was OK and successful no issues while anoda card trip was deemed invalid as a result of fake ATM card used for the debit

All of my cash trip has no issues, this is common sense now, may b u were using a chinko fone wen u had a similar experience

Attached is anoda card trip that was deemed invalid as a result of riders fraud

Don't argue sir. Learn.
It's your phone GPS that's faulty.

Observe the trip details, you will notice abnormal linear motion.
That's what the Uber robots detects and flag the account.

Read the community guidelines again. Cheers.
You are saying nonsense again

Hello guys. My ratify has been calculating distance wrongly..

The first pic here wasn't up to 4km..from abulegba to within abulegba..

2nd scenario, shoprite Ikeja to oando after lekki elegushi side.. Christ embassy.. The original distance should be around 38km and my ratify app recorded 58km..

Although I use infinix note 2, it's already upgraded to the recommended Android 6 marshmallow..
.any explanations for this, and what's the way out.

That's your problem.
Change device.
Your GPS is faulty and will continue to record false movement.
Sometimes in your favor. Other times, in the riders favor.
See my guy the best way out of this is : open Google map at the background leave it to run then lunch ur uber app, when asked for navigation, choose google map simple logic

Bros, go and change ur phone, the problem is from ur GPS. I had the same experience last week, they chop more than 7k of my last week earning, I had to stop driving and off to their office. And what they told me was to change my phone which I did and this week is perfect Though, am still waiting for them to refund d shortfall, or I take legal action against them cos they ended up deducting their 25% even after I wasted my fuel for pickup & dropoff and paid me nothing.
This is not a phone or GPS problem, I got money from other riders
Its a rider fraud that was detected

I woke up very early this morning, set my destination trip from Ogba to Victoria island, after like 20 to 25mins, I received a trip request from Dedeolu court Ogba to somewhere after EKO hospital Ikeja, I was very surprise getting this kind of request, I was expecting a request from Ogba to Victoria island or Ikoyi

Anyway, I embarked on the trip and dropped off at his destination, after like about 10mins, I received a text message from uber that my account has been flagged for irregular use of uber application and then again another message from the drivers app that the trip has been deemed irregular and therefore cancelled
It was a card trip and my earning of about 700 was vanished
This trip was a successful one and infact my rider rated me 5 star after the trip but to my surprise, uber cancelled the trip and my earning was gone after the trip was successfully completed

I am suspecting my rider, he must have reported that he never requested for uber ride

Please guys what do u think, this is the 2nd time such incidence will happen to me.
