I didn’t want to comment before, not that I have to anyway. For those of you wishing and hoping and wishing that it was friendly fire that killed the man, I hate to disappoint you that it isn’t. Eye witnesses I personally interacted with said that policeman was overpowered and disarmed by the Shiite group and shot at close range while begging for his life. Please let’s all stop the hate brigade and calumny. Let’s all join hands and stomp disunity. I beg everyone on this platform with God or whomever they serve to be ambassadors of peace and not use hatred for this present administration to foment doom. Hatred spreads so fast among black men.

A very good number of Nigerian political commentators will believe this story but I’m sure it’s all an already sought out plot to undermine the process of the tribunal in desperate attempt to subvert the jurisdiction of the case at the CCT and transfer the case to a court of law where Onnoghen will receive sympathy verdict from his surbodinates and stooges. I hope the CCT is well prepared for the suspended Chief Justice and his tact. Justice must be served to the Justice.

This is probably the first election in the history of this country in this fourth republic where there wasn’t any cash donations or fund raising party to induce voters or stakeholders and electorates. Thanks to a wonderful president with fiscal discipline, no wonder they don’t want him at the top. We will get there together as a nation God willing.

A High Court sitting in Gusau, Zamfara State, presided over by Justice Muhammad Shinkafi in suit No: ZMS/GS/52/2018, had ruled that the ruling APC actually conducted primaries in the state and should be allowed to present candidates for electoral contest.

However, Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu of the Federal High Court, Abuja Judicial Division in Suit No: FHC/ABJ/CS/1279/2018 dismissed the case of the APC and ruled that INEC acted within its powers by refusing to accept the list of candidates from the Zamfara State chapter of the APC.
