Am in Brisbane for short course program in course of travelling to central Australia for field work, I lost my Nigeria passport. I need help on how to leave the country peacefully, my Visa is still valid. Also all phone numbers to high commission office are linked to voice mail. I need direct phone number of any staff at Nigeria high commission office in Canberra. Thanks guys |
Young man, there are a lot of things you can do. Please don't limit yourself because of your present location, class of degree or Nigeria problem. Free yourself think and think critically ( which is very difficult). Chemical engineering is dynamic and wide, find an area of interest and I will advice you. All the best |
Whao! U guys surprised me. Please note that, there is difference between Natutal Gas used for electricity generation and LPG used for cooking. LPG is bye product after proceeding of Natural gas or petroleum. The article above is solely about Natural gas not LPG. |
Where is the car location? |
Ladies and gents, I have read through comments, questions and answers. My findings shows that 95% of young and fresh graduates want to work in Oil and gas company simply becasue of good renumeration. Dont get me wrong ,money is good and so also good life that comes with it. Believe it or not; oil and gas job is dangerous, demanding, stressful and unpredictable. It is not all that glitters is Gold. Am a professional with decade experience. We dont tell you all the story, may be if you know you might choose another career, though we have little options in Africa. Our professional bodies: NSE, MSChE, SPE etc are not doing enough for our undergraduates to get them properly informed about industry prospect and challenges. Am seriously thinking about solution to bridge gap. We engineers live a lonely life without being alone. We dont go on strike, we work with and lead our team. We share the glory and success with our team but takes responsibility if it fails, we dont bury our mistakes but faces the consequences. Our success celeberation dont last more than few minutes, before you know it another phone call or email pop in, cycle continues. That is why your thermodynamics, chemical reaction, transport phenomena etc questions reads solve this problem . All the best in your future endeavour |
Hi, Two questions: Do you sell tiles and doors, secondly can you deliver to Port Harcourt |
Bakare talks too much, he is envious and jealous of Prof Osibanjo, the man is a pastor, lawayer, teacher and SAN for that matter. I have monitored all his past speeches. He has not deem it fit to acknwoledge the VP. He should come down from high horse and stop complaining. In new Nigeria all of us must participate, he should lobby to minister and influnce from within, rather than whining on puplit. Even Judas played his part without him there will be no Easter. |
Gents and ladies, I have a brother that was banned for 10years in 2010 for not disclosing his previous application and passport with option of apapeal ( he was denied student visa in 2006 for not provoiding details. That was before E-paasport). He is now in good shape (good job and family),finacially comfortable with extensive travel experiences. The question is can he re apply for the UK Visa? Please note that the ban will expire in 2019. |
How much is d car? and while selling? |
port1976:Visa issued. Thanks for opportunity even if there is no comment from VO. |
VO, I applied for B1/B2 Visa through dropbox on Dec 17th. 2014. I checked application status online but found " Your visa is undergoing NECESSARY administrative processing......" Please can you tell me more about statement above. Am concerned beacuse i meant to travel on January 3rd,2015 for training at my employer headoffice. Please note that i was there in Dec, 2013 and April, 2014. I have been issued H3 and B1/B2 visa before and never overstayed, they were well utilized and no conatct with security offcials . Three things have changed between now and previous application: 1. I visited Saudi Arabia in October, 2014, 2. I have Angola work visa ( 2013 and 2104) 3. I changed my job to another better company within the same industry. |
Corruption has been finally legalised in Nigeria courtesy of FG. It is unbelivevable that Nigeria can be rotten to this level; extorting and deceiving poor graduates for unavailable jobs. All FG agencies had perfected this trick and now try to compete with one another on who is smarter. It started with military and paramiitary (all over the world it is free to join military), now NYSC and unbileveable NDE. Nigeria youth wake up you are sleeping, before they were stealing our money we said no problem, we paid tax but no amenities, no electric supply and we paid mandatory fee for darkness now there are ready to steal from jobless youth sweat and labour; and we are laughing. Folks let organise and take back our country from these Vultures. |
Folk, Keep your dream alive. drop me your contact on Oabiodun13@gamail.com. I will give you a call. lordkrato: Hello all, i'm a developer and my team and i are on the verge of developing a wonderful tech solution to financial transfers. Like most startups, we are limited by funds and due to the current climate we're in, pitching ideas to non-tech investors seems to meet a brick wall as most make us seems aloof or can't sync with our terms. |
Folks, I need X-box one PSU (power supply unit) 240v or universal one. Kindly assit if you know where i can get this in Nigeria. |

For the iPhone users, following apps are available: Muslim Pro, Ramadan, Salah guide (good for children- Cartoon like), Zakat calculator. They are all vwry resourceful. |
It started like this in 60's and gradually detoriated till military coup was staged. Most of the actors that claimed invincible were mudered after the coup. We are gradually treading the same ugly path again. I wish our president goodluck. May be God is about to answer prayer of ordinary Nigerians. This fight is not about us but against us. Whatever the shortcoming of Amachei he has invested wisely in the future of his kinsmen(rivers people) and i strongly believe history will be fair to him. We all know what PHC looklike before 2007, though not yet hurray but there is big hope for this city, otherwise Lagos be ready for us again we are coming back for good. |
Due to nature of my work and where am working presently; it is advisable to have two international passport. My colleagues from Europe and US have two passports running concurrently. Is it possible to have two Nigeria passports running concurrently and how? |
Though the woman is boosting her ego and exaggerating their humble effort, but the truth is; go anywhere in Afirca, Nollywood reigns. For people that travels around Africa can testify to the humble achievement of Nollywood. Before it used to be super eagles players folks asked after if they know you are from Nigeria, but now it is Nollywood stars. I was in Angola of recent where Portugese is offcial language, believe me they follow Nollywood more than we Nigerians, very funny indeed. I am ignorant of some Nollywood stars they asked after. To me it is far better than asking me about 419 guys, boko haram problem, crime, election rigging and drug peddlers. |
Good write up. It is a pleasure and special favour to be member of Umah. |
Ile -Ife is an ancient town/city in Osun state. It is about 90minutes drive from Ibadan and about 45minutes drive from Osogbo, Osun State capital. Ife is cradle of Yoruba race. Obafemi Awolowo university and Teaching hospital, Oduduwa University (private) are sited in Ife. |
There is a company called Equity Petroleum Nigeria Limited. Yes there were recruiting sometimes last month and all the positions have been filled. Stay away from scams. The office is in star house very close to Weatherford office in Trans Amadi Industrial Layout PHC. All the best gents |
Good job, Your comment about Rotimi Amachei is correct. This guy has done tremendously well for his people. The best thing that ever happen to Rivers people in last twent-five years. Rivers state has best public school in Nigeria nay Africa compared only to school in United State- (No exagerration), so also primary health care center. Free texbook, free school uniform and shoes for the pupils. Elementary school has basketball court, standard football field with Tartan track. Two hundred and fifty of such high grade school has been commisioned, while he promised to build another two hundred and fifty schools in next four years. My prediction is that in ten years time, Rivers state will move from Education less advatage state to dominate all universities in South east and South-south region Quantity and quaity of roads network is unbielevable. My prayer and hope is that he will not drop the standard in his second term in office. This guy philosophy is social welfarism, which is distinct from Fashola capitlist-welfarism. Both of them are the stars of the Nigeria democracy. Two goods guys with different approach to solve infrastructure rot in Nigeria. My only worry is what Rotimi Amachei is doing in PDP? |
Akolawole, You make the issue too personal, though we have differences on perceptions but at least we share the same view about home be an home no mattar what, and that is my subject mattar. I made my contribution based on what i know about States and Nigeria. Am not painting Nigeria as heaven on earth but to debunk rumour as if crime is peculiar to Nigeria alone. It is not for me to argue your experience in Ogun state or any other part of the country, we have our problem right, but should not be over exaggerated as if it is out of this world. You don't need to know which wood work i come from or do, Am engineer by training, if temp is 105/100F in most of California last week, you can do the conversion and tell me. The fire brigade has been working twenty four hours; all across US for the past two weeks to quell fire in southern California due to hot weather, you can challenge that too. To extent that the state of emergency has been declared in one of the counties in California. ( Check CNN NEWS TONIGHT FOR UPDATES) I work in Bakersfield, Santa Fe Spring and Long Beach in California. I never used the word "thank you my brother" or "abi", you can read my submission again, but encourages guys to follow their dream, pursuit and aspiration anywhere in the world, but not to defame Nigeria. whatever they are today is partly due to Nigeria. On lighter note, you are good economist because you are from Nigeria (Ijebu) that is why you are not involved credit card mess. No offence, let us love our country if we dont need it, who knows our children might need Nigeria or Nigeria might need them. I equally schooled in Minna, maybe we are even friends. oladiipoabiodun@yahoo.com is my email, let reach out. |
Good day guys, being outside Nigeria does not give you guys audacity to abuse Nigeria, the country that gives you sense of identity, what most of you guys are today is partly due to Nigeria nation. All what we take for granted in Nigeria, we all know how much they cost here in US i.e College education. Am very proud to carry Green passport, anywhere here in US, as long i don't have anything to hide, am a good ambassador in conduct and behaviour and performance in my training. Get it right am here in US for more than a year, sent here for for first class training by company i work for in Nigeria. My brothers Crime rate in whole Nigeria is small compared to what happened in only New york (US), UK South Africa etc. They are alot of stuffs going on badly here compared to Nigeria. Child Kidnapping, serial killing, please watch trutv or MNSBC crime file for confirmation. etc. The only place in Nigeria with the minimal problem is Lagos and Port-Harcourt, none of it is compared to serial killing by single culprit in US. Yes, Nigeria has his own problem, but not that bad compared to other nations even in developed world, hopefully with our banks now stronger, with money to lend out, the economy will get out of wood. To me America dream is a fake dream; you all live on credit, college on credit, house on credit, car on credit, vacation on credit, etc. Military services for college education, global warming, am in California, California is hotter than Gusau in Zamfara or Madiguri (Borno state). My brothers, you have right to reside anywhere in world that is conducive for your ambition and fulfillment of your dream, but condemn your country because of plate of porridge is abnormal and unafrican, it is against the norm and ethics of Africa. There is Yoruba adage which says: You don't destroy the home because are leaving home for another town. ( Ma ba ede (home ) je nitorpe o nlo si ede (city in osun state)). Best of luck guys |
