Because they're hypocrites and not real Christians.

Their bigotry against hijab is laced with tribalism and political agendas.

I can't count how many times I've been called Abdul here for having an opinion.

Obviously this matter stems from clear hatred of the religion.
Like the poster above, if you feel the hijab I a sign of backwardness and ignorance, then why should it be your place to be so bothered if people choose to represent "backwardness" and "ignorance?
Doesn't that reflect your own "backwardness" and "ignorance"?

It is called uniform for a purpose. If the school says no to it, so be it. Kids that want to use the Bijan should attend schools that allow it as part of the uniform.

A solution to all these madness might be stopping the use of uniforms in schools so that everyone is fit to wear what they are comfortable with.

Just imagine. While one is putting in place modality to provide and advance educational development, the other is obsessed with a religiosity that have no semblance to human development.

What has they given the world? Absolutely nothing but ormenting chaos and violence, using modern advance-ment in technology for anti-human activities, breeding fanatics whose stock in trade is strapping & detonating explosives. What have the world done to deserve this for goodness sake?

Racoon, question for you:

What exactly did the world give to God before he sent his Son to die for their sins?

In your words “absolutely nothing”.

Live and let live. What Farooq said is the truth. What exactly does the hijab stir in Christians?

The Kwara state government should either return back the school to the Church, or they should fully take over the school.

Nah wetin fit settle this issue be this.

The government cannot take over the school fully or can the government take over the house you fully occupy even when you are the owner?

I'm surprised at you. Who owns the land? Who built ALL the physical structures? Should payment of salaries alone confer ownership? Who owns the NAME, Government? You people have hidden behind Government to do much evil in Nigeria!

My brother you need to read about governance and government.

Government owns all the land - Land Use Act, 1978.

Churches can decide to approach government through CAN just as NLC can speak for unions or associations under her. You must understand mandate of CAN .
May the Allah they believe in and claim to fight for terrorize all the Jihardists and make them experience the fruits of their delusions just like the ppl of Syria, Afghanistan, lebanon, Iran, Sudan etc.

where is CAN getting money from (if it is too fund the school by itself)?.

How do you think Abuja national church was funded?

What Happened In Central Africa republic, Myanmar are things of joy to intolerant folks (Terrorist) like you.
How can you be so intolerant to deny an innocent Muslim lady(who chooses to use Hijab-because not all does) the use of Hijab in GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS?

Has the said Mission schools not under the full funding of Government since the betrothal?
why these plain Hypocrisy from you and your likes?

Are Christian ladies In Government (Nawarudeen) schools forced to put on Hijab?

why should Muslim then be forced to disobey the commandment of Allah IN A PUBLIC SCHOOL?

This is transgression and won't be allowed.

Hijab is a God given and fundamental Right for Muslim women who chose to use it.

YOU HAVE TO TOLERATE THIS FROM US, WE DO NOT ASKED TOO MUCH, YOU CAN'T FORCE US TI DISOBEY ALLAH

You preach the tolerance that you don't have. Isn't that hypocrisy?

They are not government schools, have never been and will never be. It is just like Ogun State wakes up one day and assume ownership of Covenant University. How much did Kwara State pay the missionaries and Christian owners to take over those schools?

If Kwara State want to change the agreement they had in 1974, they should pay the Christians for the schools or return them to the owners.

I think the government should remove their hands from funding the school.......or...take claim the school outrightly as a government school. I remember back then in St Fingers Lagos. The church then could not fund it and so the government took over the school outrightly. As the year ran,the school turns out to be lawless, filled with touts. It was later the government gave it back to the church and the school was reformed. (With higher school fees though). Its a simple decision for the governor. Posses it outrightly or let go outrightly

Trash talk.

They should go and open their own Islamic school and wallowed in their ignorance and backwardness, no Christian will oppose them or have anything to say, but bringing their ignorance and backwardness to were children of light are, is what we frowned at.

Dont remind me of the atrocities committed around the world by this hijab. How are we even sure that our christian children are safe with this people? Let me not even imagine it, God forbid.

And y'all take your 'light' to Dubai, a backward, hijab-wearing Muslim country. You go there for your white wedding, you go there for your holiday, you even go there to look for sustenance.

A state fully-funded school should not have muslims in it because it was formerly owned by the missionaries? Even when the parents of those hijab-wearing girls are tax-paying bonafide members of that community? Even if 2 competent courts have adjudicated on the matter?

The rest of the world can cease to exist by other means, but as for Nigeria, e sure like death say na religion go finish this country.

The two adherents have become marketers each shouting his voice hoarse to justify the superiority of its product.

And na weyrey una all be o. No be say una dey Godly o. All na wayo o.

Most of infrastructures in those schools are provided by the churches and their members. Funding schools is more than paying salaries.
National church is not school.

a better option would be for the church administrators, teachers, christian parents and CAN to leave the school for the muslims and secular students and move to create their own pure christian school with admission for christians only. the problem starts when you start admitting muslims and letting the school be government run. diversity is a cancer, in a sane society there would be government funded schools run by Christians and for christians, and another for muslims, if you can't send your child to a school attended majorly by ifa worshippers why should you send your kids to a school with unbelievers of your fate, if the western world is filled with homosexuals, gays and infidels why do you run to such countries as migrants. truth remains that everybody's space should be respected.
