Appointments are available online in Ghana (both cat A and Cat B), Turkey, Cyprus, and some other African countries where students can choose their suitable dates from. The issue with Nigeria is because of the bad situation and governance resulting into citizens finding a way to move out and this is why Germany wants the best.! Why is Ghana not like this? Blame your irresponsible and wicked government and not Nigerian students in Germany.

By the way, this appointment issue is the same in Iran, Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Iraq.

GBAM!! I keep stressing it's all Politics. No reasonable Government will look at how Nigeria is being administered and be open arms to them. Y'all should hold your Govt

Morale is very low over here!! Please has anyone gotten AD or gone for interview, kindly update us maybe it'll revive hope again.

Most people are about entering second semester but are still here in Nigeria, it's a very challenging time for everyone after the hurdles of gaining admission and enrollment. God is able though to change things....

Are you applying as a student? If yes, the thought of family going at once shouldn't surface.
It is easier for a PhD position anyway.
How will you convince the visa office that you're in for study?

In my opinion, one step at a time, you get here first, and then begin making plans. If you do not have children/a child yet, would be easier.

Alright. Thanks for ur advice. Mąkęs sense

For those who land in Germany and want to open an account so that their blocked money will be accessible, use N26...it is the easiest, fastest and most reliable bank and its in English...all you need to open the account, are your phone and internet access, then your card will be sent to your address, so you can withdraw cash from anywhere in the whole of Germany...........................please use my code as your reference(fustinao2916) when you register...pls, thank you...and good luck to everyone smiley

1. Block account depends on who you are doing the exchange with , with the situation of the country.
Its between 5.3million and 6.1million.

2. Please learn how to write a personal statement, you are going for your studies . at least go online and do it yourself.

3. Use daad website to check generally.
But if you have a particular school in mind , you can check their website .

Thanks for your response. I appreciate a lot.

1. I want to know the general application period if I can start getting my documents and apply now if I could met up with the winter semester.

2 . What are the best means of exchanging naira for the block fund.

To certify documents, if you live close to the embassy it can be done usually for free. Or take it Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs if you live in Abuja. Otherwise, just use the High Court in your City. Its black and white copies that are needed.

Based on info from guys here, I was fast with my document arrangements; Paulinus was good to me, he made sure I was tie first to be interviewed even before people that came earlier he took me personally to the VO that interviewed me

Questions
**Quick questions as I was doing my biometric* :

Why Germany and not UK or USA

Why not Nigeria

What is the party of the current president of Germany

Which day is celebrated way back in history as Germany's bla bla bla (I had to ask her, do you mean the reunification day)...she said yes....

What brought about the reunification?

What was happening at the Berlin wall and why were the people trying to cross to the West?

Why was East Germany less developed?

What time period was the second world war?

What is the longest river in Germany and how many kilometer

How many cities are referred to as city states in Germany? List them

Hlo guys.

Someone asked me this question but I don't know what to tell him, hence, I decide to bring it here...Plz he need a sincere answer.
Actually he graduated with a CGPA of 2.14 but he intend to go for a masters in Germany. Is there any possibility of him getting admission for a masters program.
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by Nobody: 10:37pm On Mar 21, 2021
The grade according to Nigerian standard is a 3rd class. I have not heard of anyone that gained admission with that but I know some Universities don’t require much, it all depends on what he wants to study. He can try.
I will personally advice him to do a professional masters in Nigeria and shoot for Canada if he is not so old.

Who is applying for admission this winter?let's work together

Am applying. Considering TUM and TU Berlin plus other schools as i heard TUM is very competitive and kinda difficult. But the most important thing is am also looking for schools not using UniAssist and even if they do, require ONLINE-ONLY application (to ease off the stress of verification and the rest). Though TUM is my first choice and hence i cnt avoid UniAssist, but i want to have plan B, C, D, E. (yeah, five schools).
