Many many thanks to you.
My employer has accommodation for me. How do I prove this. They stated it an the financial support letter ... is this sufficient for submission?

I think a utility bill or mortgage document bearing the name of your employer and the address of the accommodation should suffice.

Hello, everyone , I'm in South Africa now. Though I'm on a short term visa and I'm not planning to overstay,so I'm going back soon.
Here is really nice, like Europe really, whites everywhere, I went to the hospital yesterday, the doctor I met is a Nigerian, every Nigerian I meet here said here is okay and the same thing 'its better than home' lol.
Though some mentioned about having plans of moving to other countries like USA etc on long term due to the fear xenophobia in the SA blood (
The weather is cool really, as if ac de blow from heaven.
Their English accent is very funny, you might have to listen well to understand,
In all it's good really, If your heart's desire is to come here, I pray you achieve it in Jesus name

Glad that you made it. Which airline did you use?
Covid test? How much did you have on hand- rand? How cold is it? Do we need to dress in layers? During boarding, what did you present?

Try UBA Afri dollar card but you have to load dollars on it. Using naira cards will subject you to the $100 limit per month rule.

I booked a return ticket cos I thought I could get BTA with it. Well, banks no longer give BTA. I was also happy I booked return as the airport people kept asking for my return ticket.

Yes , covid test is mandatory
No rand in hand
It is just cool, not cold
Layers? I guess you mean sweater, yes the aircraft gets so cold but there's blanket that will be given.
Passport, covid19 result, yellow fever, boarding pass,

Good day everyone, i’m new here and I want to know if there is anything I can do concerning my study visa application which I submitted since November 17 2020, and when tracked, it’s the same my “ application is received and being accessed “ note that shows , although I was called by vfs on January 28th to re-submit my bank statement which I did, till date I haven’t gotten any email as to my application. I have emailed Veronica loving several times from the email on I saw on this thread , she responded and attached two other people , saying she wants to know the status of the application and that was since March 10th, I still haven’t gotten anything to that effect , please does anybody know what can be done?.........

Nothing except to wait and pray (if you believe in prayers)

Lol. Which one is "if you believe in prayers " again o. Everyone prays, theists, agnostics and atheists alike, we just find different ways of doing it. Like Sam Smith said, everyone prays in the end.

@emperor121, do her a gentle reminder on the mail trail. You'd likely get a call from the embassy in a week or two.

@R1-#35 if interested lemme know

Bros, you've finally declared it and it has been established Sir. This Morning, Rand is selling for 36naira to transfer to your account.

God help naira, God help Nigeria.

NB: I think we need to work out a way as a tactical solution for Nairalanders sha. Incoming students and applicants will need to buy rand while working class here will always have to sell rands to transfer funds to friends and families back home. I think we can create a system to maintain the balance for these low ticket needs..

I said low ticket needs before someone will say he wants to sell 50k rands. I no dey that one o. My advise as always is that anyone doing more than 10k rands shd use a Financial institution.

Good day everyone, I submitted my visa application on December 10th 2020 and after much waiting, I started following update from comments on Nairaland, I even almost gave up with the people complaining of their application being denied. My chances were very low, Passport Issue date is Dec 08, 2020, Visa Application Date is Dec 10, 2020, the same picture I have on passport is what I have on passport photograph for the visa application. After much waiting and about to give up, I saw an email of one Veronica Loving and I sent her an email on the 09/03/2021 no reply, sent her another 12/03/2021 no reply, then I sent another direct email to their Lagos DHA on 18/03/2021 no reply. But luckily on the 19/03/2021 I got an email from VFS that my visa application and been processed and collected from SA high commission. Today 22/03/2021 I just collect my number passport from UPS and I was giving 3 months multiple entry visa. So my people don’t allow another person’s visa denial to discourage you. Just think positive and be prayerful.. Who did is? JESUS.
