Good morning house and Thanks for still keeping the thread active.... Please can anyone share their POE experience in Sao Paulo airport for pregnant women? What questions where you asked, how did you dress, was the pregnancy obvious to the immigration officers etc. I hope to travel by end of March. Thanks and looking forward to your response

I applied 1st week in January before the embargo and only just got my visa this month. No interview as I submitted myself...I was 4months + and wore loose clothing.

Wow they stopped issuing fresh visas but still low-key issuing visas, did you have travel history before?
Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by jennagoo: 2:22pm On Mar 23, 2021
As at 1st week in January, they hadn't stopped issuing visa. They stopped 2nd week in January. I think someone mentioned that she had a virgin passport. For me I have travel histories.
The low-key maybe for emergency visas for now no tourist visa.

no... I'm traveling alone

Yes. As a tourist you don’t necessarily need an invite. If you can book your own hotel, then you are good to go. Thanks

Please I really appreciate your effort so far in this page.

For someone earning a living from digital currency and doesn't have any employment letter or CAC document to present is it possible to get the VISA approved?

Mine was 2019, zero issues. Wore leggings and a big sweatshirt, passed immigration without realizing it. I’ve had a number of friends go through recently and they had no issue whatsoever. As long as you have a valid visa (and recently ok to fly and covid test )they have no issues with you.

Hello Sboye. I pray your visa application goes on smoothly. Unfortunately i am not familiar with any private hospital in Belo horizonte and florianopolis. I did not give birth in these two cities. I however suggest you check online and i am sure names of hospitals will pop up. Thanks

I need help on how to apply for visa for birthing purpose. What kind of visa should I get? I intend to use a private hospital and pay my bills.

Okay, so everyone traveling from Naija to Brazil will have to certify that they are “Okay to Fly”. You do that with your airline few days before you travel (to save time) or the day you’re traveling at your airline’s office at the airport. You’ll need your passport (visa) for that.

You’ll apply for normal tourist visa, there is no visa category for birthing purposes.
