Kneeling down is just a culture in some tribes. You can kneel down and still be stubborn to your husband in many areas. Submission is more of the condition of your heart which reflects in your attitude towards your husband.

Respect your husband and honour him. The manner and ways you reply your husband when there is disputes indicates whether you submit to him or not.
