AWS is more developer centric but if u start from azure which is user friendly, u can then transition to AWS

You are only entitled to Maternity allowance if not on SMA and whatever you get affects your other benefits. In essence, it is linked to the whole benefit system and entitlement.

Moreover, you have to have made a certain amount of NI contributions to get most benefits including this MA.

12500 /12 =1041.67 this will be your monthly allowance before tax so 30000/12 = 2500 - 1041.67=£1,458.33 (taxable allowance)this is the amount you will be taxed on
20% of £1,458=291.66 tax payable
Your ni should be about £204
Take home pay should be approx about ( 2,500-292-204)= £2,004 it could be less after pension deductions about 3%.

I passed on the 4th attempt, so it didn't come easy.. The aws cloud is well architected and more user friendly than azure hence why they are still in forefront of cloud service. The only reason azure is getting more traction is because substantial number of organisation use the Microsoft stack - o365, Ms dynamics, azure Devops and so on... It's inherently easy to integrate into azure cloud

So again will he at any point earn £2500

It's also highly unlikely to be offered a pure AWS role in isolation. AWS like Azure can be likened to the evolution of virtualization, which in principle was always a 3rd line function anyway (I assume you know what I mean by this)

Either way there's a looot of studying and CV padding required to get a job managing AWS for most companies, only to be offered on average 50-60k in London.

If you're new to IT, I wouldn't recommend it, unless you're a geek.

Keep learning it and familiarise yourself with the services on AWS... Opportunities do come when you would just be able to blag your way in using that knowledge. Start from aws cloud practitioner

This allowance is accumulative. Eg if your tax code is for eg. 1250L and you only start earning in tax month 3 which is June, then your tax allowance for the month of June should be £12500/12 x3 =£3,125 . If you haven’t earned up to £3,125 by tax Month 3 then you have no tax to pay. Please note this depends on your tax code. If you’re tax code is 1250L M1 then your pay will be calculated not on accumulated basis . This means as long as you earn more than £1,042 monthly you will get taxed on the balance.

If the tax is calculated well I would say no... he shouldn't earn £2,500 after tax. The 12.5 is evenly calculated for a year. Divided by 12.......so 2k salary range after tax will be earned each month .

However if after April to March let say mid way the salary falls significantly or increases then the person might have over paid or under paid tax and hears from HMRC
