We lost a lot..The worst is having your worst enemies who committed brutal genocide against your people, becoming presidents over you for over half a century! Basically taking turns to destroy and eviscerate all the structures you erected to be great. Gowon banned the igbo State Union which was largely responsible for setting up funds to build schools and scholarshipss..., nationalized mission schools and used funds for reconstruction in the east to build bridges all over Lagos! The impact is vicious! Uptill this day.. That is why we have to fight another war to correct those mistakes since the "winners" have made it a point of duty to hold the east down for ever...
Re: Eastern Nigeria Before The Civil War by Nbotee(m): 7:50pm On Mar 25, 2021
That was when it was still Eastern region before broken down to states and back den we had leaders not rulers who were genuinely interested in developing the East. Now we have bunch of selfish lots who see politics as as an investment

Nna mehnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

The Igbos since the beginning of Nigeria have shown to be the best and are always giving others a huge margin to cover in competition.

That's why we are envied by fellow country men who always will prefer to see all of us on the ground than to let everyone stand at their height.......

Yet you call, beg, gnash your rot.ten teeth, weep to Burutai to send Python dance to help you keep these people in the same country as you..

Is that not madness....?

They say you are a snitch, a snake...a backstabber, and they have been killed as they want to stay away from you...but you hate them but will not want them to go from you...What would you call that?

It's insanity...madness...height of hypocrisy...and utter dumbness.

They also introduced Oluwole and Jankara...

Redcrafton:
The Ibos are the wandering Jews of West Africa — gifted, aggressive, Westernized; at best envied and resented, but mostly despised by the mass of their neighbors in the Federation. They have fought well (by African standards) against heavy odds; their cynical public relations use of the starvation has been brilliant.” – Henry Kissenger, (Tuesday, January 28, 1969 Memorandum for the president)
