Good to know that with all your chest-beating, made-up tales and pontification, you still need Yoruba people to determine your own future and destiny? If Yoruba people don't seek sovereignty, what next? You won't seek yours?

The SW economic advantage that necessitated mass economic exodus from the SE to the SW is still there today generations later, the same economic advantage is still responsible for mass economic migration to the SW this very second so what exactly.

It was never Igbo coup as the Igbos were at the top and they needed no coup to go further.

Igbos never told anyone to help them using a coup.

God indeed blessed the Igbos and has a great destiny in store for them.

My beef is that Nigeria is making it nearly impossible for us to achieve our full potentials.

This is why I advocate full restructuring. If that proves elusive, then outright break up. One Nigeria should not be sacrosanct.

First, the old Eastern region of Nigeria was made up of several ethnicities among which you find the Igbos. There were Ijaws, Urhobos, Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa etc. but Igbos as always dominated the minorities claiming everything and anything associated with Eastern region.

SE is an erosion ravaged landlocked enclave full of washed away gully erosion sites so no how the Op's claims can be true. They are all lies. SE remains the poorest and most backward region in Nigeria.

Dude, bearing in mind the Igbos were the majority ethnicity in the newly emergent region (barely six years old and bound to have teething problems), can you enlighten us further on how Igbos 'dominated the minorities and claimed every/anything linked with the then Eastern Region'?

When you try to mock us with 'erosion ravaged....gully erosion......poorest/backward', are you limiting Alaigbo to just the south-east or are you refering to the entire Igboland that also includes my own LGA of ONELGA in Rivers State? smiley

You people just makeup rubbish on your blog site and litter the internet with it.

The all the industries were in the SW, banking and finance, advertisement, marketing, ports, airport, the largest population of people with disposable income and so on and so on, including the first and only in Nigeria and Africa infrastructures from the first skyscrapers to the first TV station, first modern stadium, industrial estates, supermarkets like Kingsway, but the SE with absolutely nothing and zero economic relevance was the fastest rising economy?

Put that rubbish back under your bed..

We lost a lot..The worst is having your worst enemies who committed brutal genocide against your people, becoming presidents over you for over half a century! Basically taking turns to destroy and eviscerate all the structures you erected to be great. Gowon banned the igbo State Union which was largely responsible for setting up funds to build schools and scholarshipss..., nationalized mission schools and used funds for reconstruction in the east to build bridges all over Lagos! The impact is vicious! Uptill this day.. That is why we have to fight another war to correct those mistakes since the "winners" have made it a point of duty to hold the east down for ever...

You really have your head over your shoulders.

Stop crying about the past.Hiroshima in Japan would still be in ruins today if Japan was still swimming in WW2 tears.

You incredibly forgot the people who defeated Japan did live in or have the same county as Japan. In addition, Japan remained a country not part of China or South Korea. For you to have this nonsensical stream of thought shows one reason Nigeria is a joke.
