Skhy:Hello Skhy, There is no need. When your application has been approved, you can request for your child to be exempted to travel (or authorization to travel) by advising IRCC via email. Best of Luck |

Chimahsom:Hello Chimahsom, You can use it. It has continued to be acknowledged by IRCC. If possible, include an LOE to tell the VO why you can't retake the test or as applicable. Best of Luck |

Please house kindly help me analyze my situation. I applied for Canadian work permit in December 2019, got a rejection in February 2020 due to incomplete documentation. Though I already had an LMIA then. I have a Canadian immigration consultant that assisted in the application. I reapplied in March 2020, a week later there was lockdown. Till now, no response from CIC.the consultant keeps telling me she has written to them, yet no response that I should be patient. At this point am fed up and have decided to apply through study route, but I don't know if the pending application could have any impact on the study permit I want to apply for. Please I need advice. |

Aissy:Hello Aissy, If you can't provide the MBS, use the LOE to explain why you can't provide it. If possible, upload freshly printed copies of the regular BS. Save yourself some stress. Best of Luck |

JustMellow Can you confirm the deadline for Manitoba University admission application, for fall spring September ? |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by JustMellow: 11:09am On Mar 27, 2021 |
onomss:Hello Onomss, No worries. Go ahead to complete your application. You can still do the upfront medicals and upload the medical slip through the web form or email. If you intend to submit the upfront medicals along with your application, go back to the questionnaire and answer yes to the question asking if you have lived outside your country for 6 months or more. Thereafter, you will be provided a column for the required action. Best of Luck |

Is NYSC work experience acceptable in express entry should you get a reference letter from them? |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by JustMellow: 11:21am On Mar 27, 2021 |
kolaxx12:Hello Kolaxx12, First, check if your last 2 years' GPA is up to 3.75 or above. If it is, you can check Royal Roads, McMaster, Concordia University. You may as well consider applying to a college as a backup option. Best of Luck |

Aissy:Hello Aissy, Why will you want to submit your BS separately when you can easily do so same time via the provided placeholder? Best of Luck |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by kolaxx12(m): 11:28am On Mar 27, 2021 |
Hello, yes my last 2 years GPA is 3.75 Do the schools you named accept that? I wish to study something related to information technology or computer science in general. Also which colleges would you advise. Thanks JustMellow: |

keleto:Hello Keleto, What does your GCMS notes say? It will better if you allow your application to play out. You can't have two applications running concurrently under the TRV category. Either one of them will be canceled in the case two applications of the same category run simultaneously. Since you are using the service of an immigration lawyer, approach them for further advise. They are your employee(s) now—for as long as the contract remains valid. Best of Luck |

Daniel4canada:Hello Daniel4canada, I see age is going gradually. If your birthday is close, then it will be a painful 5 points to lose given the no all-program draw since Decmeber 23rd, 2020. Try to simulate your current CRS score again with a possible IELTS score with 2yrs work experience (NYSC and another) to draw up a conclusion of your next move. Given the current situation of no response to FSWP and the response pace for SP, you may want to consider using your TEF and the 6 months BS to apply via the study route. 6 months BS is very much acceptable, but 1 year gives some level of satisfaction, and it may be requested for by the VO unannounced. Best of Luck |

JustMellow:thank you very much , I was actually hoping you could comment on it. Hope it will still be acceptable on Monday even if the NSE date was 26th which was yesterday? |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by JustMellow: 11:56am On Mar 27, 2021 |
kolaxx12:Hello Kolaxx12, You have the names, why not do some research on them before further questions. 3.75 is high enough to get you into a University that applies the last 2-year rule couple with a good Academic Letter. You can check Conestoga, Humber, Confederation, George Brown College. Best of Luck |

Aissy:Hello Aissy, The placeholder enabled for it may freeze if the stipulated time had elapsed. However, you can send through the webform and/or email and hope for the best, since that's the only available option to leverage on. Best of Luck |

[quote author=Funformofi post=100248981]Hello House, I'm a newbie and I have followed the Canada visa trend 17 and 18. I must say I'm very impressed at the way information and support is given. Funformofi:Welcome to Nairaland. I'm no expert. People do get study permit even when applying with family members. The biggest problem when applying with family members is that it reduces your hometie. However, applying without the inclusion of your children increases your hometie and gives your chances of getting study permit a boost. Don't even think of including your husband in your application. You have to convince the officer you intend to return to Nigeria after your studies. If you and your family have an history of traveling together, strong assets, e.t.c that's a plus. But it's always difficult to get study permit with the inclusion of family. Most people try it and if they're refused, they do not include any family member in the follow-up application and may get their permit. |

Aissy:Yes, you can. Visit the bank with your dad and request for MBS. Also include the statement of the fixed account you will make reference to in the letter (not necessarily the mbs of the fixed account). How much is the fund we're talking about? The issue with funds from fixed account is that there is no inflow. If I was a visa officer, the required balance for a fixed account would definitely be higher than that of a savings or current account. |

Hello gurus and all, Need your final input before I submit. I want to know the total amount i need to show in account for the 2yr program? Tuition is little above 25k. I want to show total fund for the entire program. Again, what's the rate for the conversions? Thanks. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Funformofi: 4:16pm On Mar 27, 2021 |
Thank you @Shupy, We I have done quite a number of travels alone (job related) and few family travels. On of the family travel was to Canada and we didnt over stay. My husband has a stable job, we have some assets and a joint biz we run part-time. I really dont fancy leaving him out due to the fact that he will not be able to get his Visa renewed to come visit us hence my question on if I can include him in my application. Secondly, is a 3year advanced diploma in Georgian College a good choice? I see it does not qualify me for the NSE. P.S There is no Msc/MBA or PGD course in aviation that will give me in-depth knowledge as the one I have chosen. Thanks |
