THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE

I APPEALED IMMEDIATELY I GOT THE NOTICE

LAST YEAR JAN , BUT RECEIVED NO RESPONSE

FROM DHA.I DID A BIT OF RESEARCH AND

DISCOVERED THIS IS THE POSITION WITH

MOST APPEALS.

NOW THE BAN PERIOD HAS EXPIRED, AND I

DISCOVERED YOU DONT JUST GO BACK, YOU

WILL STILL BE DENIED ENTRY AT THE PORT

EVEN AFTER EXPIRY OF THE BAN PERIOD AS

IT IS STILL ON THIER SYSTEM.

P.S. MY FLIGHT WAS DELAYED BY ONE HOUR

I GOT TO IMMIGRATION 5MIN PAST MIDNIGHT.

I OVERSTAYED BY 5MIN AND I STILL GOT

BANNED FOR ONE YEAR.

That's quite unfortunate.
It's true that the ban expiry has to be effected on the system before disembarking.
I'd suggest that you keep reaching out to Hilda to assist.

Submitted my application (visit visa) for my mom and I on the 4th of March this month and we got our passports back on the 19th of March. NB: I sponsored her application and attached the required docs. SA visa is the easiest to get once you know what you’re doing or how to go about it. wink

Please my flight from Nigeria to South Africa will depart on the ( 6th Tuesday) from Los airport and I will arrive in Johannesburg on the ( 7th Wednesday) next day . What is the best time I can do my covid19 test in Nigeria ? I'm thinking on Sunday so I will get the result the next day which is on Monday and travel on Tuesday? Or what do you think my fellow people in the house?

Do it on Monday .. before you live on Tuesday you would get your results .. results come in 24hours ... Monday morning .... how long did it take before your visa was processed ?

It depends on the hospital. You should ask them .. it takes 24 hours or less for the result .. I presume your flight is by Tuesday afternoon/evening ..

Please what is the best way to book a hotel for visit visa application?
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Blurpy: 11:32am On Mar 27, 2021
Book return ticket on the airline website instead of one way

Can you shed more light on the "SA visa is the easiest to get once you know what you’re doing or how to go about it" part please? Looking forward to your quick response.

Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by laeffizy(f): 11:41am On Mar 28, 2021
This is untrue, and quite misleading. It's not in our hands who gets the visa or not. I was delayed for over three months even with a legit admission letter, a bursary attached to it and up to date documents. The requirements for a visa are on their website and except you have issues with your proof of accomodation, finances..you're most likely on the right track and everything else lies in the hands of the person approving or disapproving.

I got mine after series of mails and follow up from my supervisor.
Let's just say you're one of the very lucky few!
