You nasty, repulsive thing. You still can't get over calling black people ''monkeys'' can you?

Repulsive maggot you. Like a snake, you start a thread that pretends to 'care' about Nigerians.

Only to subtly inject your racist poison for which you were sent by demons like yourself.

Let me just report you again so you get banned like the slave bastard you are.
Black folks are averse to hearing the truth, tell a black man the truth if you want to become his enemy.
This monkey-like behaviour that you constantly exude here makes it obvious to the world, that the black race is cursed and will continue to serve other race till the end of time.
Why would you attack the fine gentleman for expressing his sentiments about Lagos?
If you were not emotionally dysregulated you wouldn't exhibit such a puerile trait.
Calm down frustrated man and stop acting like a baby.
Lagos is a mega slum, something should be done about that stinky and filthy hellhole.
Don't tell me you are proud of such a mega slum, only a subhuman cum monkey would be proud of Lagos.
Personally, I believe the op is one of the brilliant minds that I have ever come across here.
Nigeria needs folks like him unlike you scumbags and monkeys who are complacent with the status quo.
I appreciate the burning desire, the hunger and anger in him to change the narrative about his root.
He deserves commendation not condemnation.

When your useless governor from alaigbo failed to perform their duty, creating economic migrants and refugee putting pressure on Lagos State.

As I'm typing this, 3,000 of your people are on their way to Lagos to add to the pressure.

Lagos can't achieve its potential with many people disrupting its planning process.

There are..

People are moving from all part of SE to Lagos and other SW states, same can't be said about SW people moving to any part of Alaigbo.

If something good is not happening in Obodo Lagos, people won't be flocking there.

You see say big difference dey

you obviously have never visited the east in any detailed manner! Igbos are a mobile people from antiquity, Having mastered the art of iron smelting before any other ethnic nationalities in southern Nigeria Ndigbo were renowned for their metalworking skills all over, they took their skills wherever they could ply them. Lagos is not the only city where Igbos migrate to in Nigeria,we are in Kano, Abuja, and Port Harcourt in millions......... we are in Accra and Kumasi,in Yaounde and Douala,we are in New Delhi and Mumbai, In Johannesburg and Capetown, in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, so what's new or unique about Igbo presence in Lagos...........you better disabuse your mind from this fallacy that Igbos have abandoned their homeland, there are 68 yes 68 specialized? markets in Onitsha alone........na ghosts dey there.?

Then those houses must be TORN DOWN before it is too late. The longer lagos waits to do this, the more expensive it will be. If you want to use density as an excuse, here is Mubai, India. Look at how wide and pleasant their streets are.

Lagos will never be a modern city until this basic improvement is made to the transportation network.
It depends on what you are looking for. I can also get you pictures of Mumbai to rubbish your point. It's easy to always criticise Lagos, Nigeria and the black race. But what have you ever changed in your society? Even in a little way. But then I see you already have a tribe of fellow monkeys to join you. grin We all know Nigeria is doing badly but how does your constant online happiness at rubbishing Nigeria and the black race helping anybody including you? wink

I'm complaining about Lekki, Ikoyi, and Banana Island and you want to talk about ikeja? Ikeja looks like something from war-torn Congo or South Sudan. When I was last there, I couldn't believe that was really Nigeria.

Most of the foreigners I was travelling with were also stunned at the subhuman and monkey-like conditions of Ikeja -- unfortunately, that's where the airport is located, so you can't avoid it. I felt massive embarassment to see such a zoo in my country... It's not even worth discussing. I wish someone would burn it down.

Yea. For African standards, Lagos is a decent city. However, for the standards I am comparing it to (NY, London, Tokyo) its a massive shithole. One would think that a city like that would be well planned, but as we speak, Lagos cant even build a metro system. Sad stuff

grin I quite understand.
A good number of Nigerians are primitive. That's why rather than embrace at least some of the truths about their places they discard all and turn it into a tribal or political war. And the funniest thing is most of them are not even from Lagos.

ask New Yorkers why New York looks like a slum or ask why LA looks like a slum and you’d get the same defensive responses. This is not a Black thing or a Nigerian thing, humans get defensive over things/people/places that shape their identity.

Why does Lagos look like a slum?
Because people are not ready to pay the money.needer to make it look better.

A lot of European cities have something called a council tax or municipal taxes. In the UK some council taxes can be as high as 150 to 190 pounds. Monthly

Lagos has a very poor tax to.gdp ratio overall. Despite the attempt by many administration to widen the tax base

Low income means no money to fix and upgrade city facilities like streets , sewage etc.

At times, I sit down and wonder the obsession of Igbos after Yoruba lands. This is the same stupidity that made Azikwe to leave the east and trying to force himself on Yoruba as a premier.

I am yet to see any Yoruba man obsessed about any of the backward eastern states as you guys do. Tueh!

By calling Eastern states 'backward', you have revealed your deep rooted obsession.

Well New York and L.A. aren't slums. If they looked like Lagos, the people would revolt.

Americans aren't sleepy and primed for mediocrity like Nigerians are.

I don’t care if they look like Lagos. And there are parts of those cities that do look worn down and underdeveloped...

Americans can’t be compared to Nigerians as the histories and politics and culture are totally different so naturally the populations will face a different reality.

That was also beside my point.

The worst part of New York is better than the best part of Lagos. Thats why the people are largely satisfied from an infrastructure perspective.

a better Nigeria can start from nairaland by putting aside tribalism which the government is using against us to cause chaos cause they know is our weaking point

Yes, the way you always present the threads show you're happy about Africa's problems, so that you can laugh and call people monkeys and all sorts of names. There's another guy like you on nairaland who calls himself suffer and smiling. His passion is looking for horrible pictures about Nigeria.

You can present your points in more constructive ways if your aim is really because you want your society to change. And show us what you've done in your own little way.
There is a thread by Ngpatriot where he was planting tree seedlings in his town. Now imagine what that town would look like in 10 years time. Why can't you show us something like that?

Because his aim is not to talk about "our" problems but to show his self- hating tendencies. Can't you see his mind is twisted? Check his threads. We can all see the problems but what are his suggestions? He is only here for the bashing of the black race and, as expected, he has loyal blind supporters.
An Igbo guy once opened a thread here where he was using European cities as case studies for what he thought each of the major eastern Nigeria cities should look like if the people start working towards that. It was very constructive not like this blind one calling people monkeys. I am surprised you guys still fall for his bvllshit.

I should be asking you that. Only a deeply ignorant person would compare anything in New York to Nigeria. The whole city as running water, electricity, highly sophisticated sewage and drainage. 24/7 subway service to any part of the city.

Grand Concourse, the Bronx -- poorest borough in New York. You can't even dream of development like this in Nigeria.

I’ve been to both Lagos and NY... even though I only visited Manhattan there were areas that were quite dirty and not better looking than when I visited some parts of Victoria Island.

You are showing a photo of aerial footage rather than your personal account so I’m guessing your answer is no, you haven’t been to the worst parts of New York to compare.... Any place can look good from aerial footage. Even Lagos.

I live in the U.S. and visit New York all the time. You, like most Nigerians, are completely delusional. I can't even argue with someone who would compare New York to Lagos. Your brain is completely smooth.

Tell me the street in Manhattan that is comparable to Lagos. I've been throughout the city. Also, Manhattan is the the most developed part of New York. The Bronx is the poorest borough. Do you know what a borough is? Do you know what a bodega is? Do you know what ethnicity lives in Washington Heights? Do you know what a brownstone is? Do you know the difference between New York pizza and Chicago pizza?

Prove you have been to New York. Because right now, you are talking nonsense.
