Most of the politicians you know have cases with the EFCC. The problem is not the EFCC but Nigeria's useless system.

I expected Buhari to facilitate corruption trials by establishing corruption-trying tribunals and working with the necessary judicial councils to assign incorruptible justices for them.

Even before Buhari came aboard in 2015, people in the know had been advising Jonathan to take that step. To date, Buhari hasn't implemented key legislative reforms to strengthen the fight on corruption.

What we see is the same old nonsense Obasanjo and others did - using the weak institutions to fight perceived political enemies.

Leadership is no rocket science - Nigerians just keep electing clueless people for reasons best known to them.

I wonder why EFCC has been solely reduced to catching of Internet fraudsters. Don't get me wrong, these fraudsters are a menace. But what 50 fraudsters would steal is what only one big wig politician would en masse in a very short time.

While the fraudsters are usually but not limited to stealing from foreigners, the Politicians are severely draining our collective monies and monies meant for the development of Nigeria.

Let there also be another punitive measures for these fraudsters other than just jail, bail and release cos it seems to have little or no effect on slowing down the fraud practice.
