Hatred for igbos is almost a state policy under Buhari's govt. Listen to all his appointees and you will see a conscious effort to show hatred for igbos as a means of showing loyalty to the govt. Meanwhile, it has become a common norm that if an unknown people rise up against injustice and oppression, the powers that be will assume they are igbos. Another example is the Lekki toll demonstration. 21 Likes 4 Shares |

I’m not sure there’s any Igbophobia now again beyond tribal bigotry which is even on both sides. Igbos did suffer many setbacks and marginalization bt they have now decided not to engage with their best political minds now the national has tried many other regions and mostly failed and seeking a possible Igbo candidate. Many of the major politicians from south east are not serious or credible people even amongst the Igbos they inspire very little confidence. The ones that are credible are fought against or regarded as small dogs in the political game which is wrong and untrue. Igbos have a problem from other zones bt they have an equally big problem amongst themselves which makes matters very difficult when engaging other zones politically. There are Igbos In Apc and Pdp bt are they the best representation for Igbos? Capital NO! Hence Igbos are unable to forge ahead politically. Most are clowns or crooks. Their best hands are not supported enough by them or allowed to represent them on bigger stages and platforms. 1 Like |

I can bet with my left balls that Farooq is one of those bedroom tribalists, but dude is only trying to seem politically correct even when most igbos are also guilty of what danladi did... Yoruba's have igbophobia and fulaniphobia, igbos have yorubaphobia and fulaniphobia, fulani's have igbophobia and Yorubaphobia.....the phobias exists on both sides and Nigerians are generally full of bullshit. 4 Likes 1 Share |

What annoys me is that these Nigerian Igbophobes will not allow the Igbo have their own country since they hate them so much! My primary problem is with people like Nnamdi Kanu who includes my people in their quest to leave Nigeria. In as much as my people have also been victims of Nigeria's bigotry and greed, another heterogeneous country like Nigeria won't serve our interests. 4 Likes |

Sadly Nairaland is not immune to the anti Igbo hysteria, it's a shame, Seuun Osewa uses Biafra stories to attract a lot of traffic as Igbophobic stories normally goes beyond 10 pages of tribal rants. When Buhari does his usual Nepotic appointments nobody will tell him to build bridges, when Igbos ask that they should be voted into positions they are reminded of building bridges even when you can find them in almost every community or village in Nigeria 9 Likes 2 Shares |

After reading this well written piece by a detribalised non igbo, may God punish all the igbo haters on nairaland. It will never be well with you and your entire generation. All you e- diots that keep tagging Igbos swine, pidipigs, ipob, etc, because you are fed crumbs from Buhari's table, you will die like mosquitoes. Is this kperogi an igbo man?, Or are you people going to say that Igbos have recruited him. I am unapologetically igbo. I am a proud one at that. If our success, intelligence, bravery, and prosperity pains you group of animals, go and dig your graves. I don't care about politics. I hate PDP and APC because they are twins. I don't belong to any party, but the insults on Igbos and the way they are marginalized is becoming too much. Imagine the nonsense that that mad man was saying about Igbos after brutalizing an innocent struggling man? 16 Likes 2 Shares |

People like Danladi the fool have nothing to offer the country except oppression and chaos. Just look at how a suppose learned judge acted like an agbero - can we say he is trying to defend himself by kicking the boy or what Your security guards are there with you and from the video the boy is not trying to attack you, so why would you kick the boy? Simple answer is the mentality of an average nigerian - do you know who I am? A stupid egoistic statement that many use to oppress their fellow citizens. As a judge he knows better than an average nigerian and for even trying to shield himself with the igbophobia rhetoric - his meetup with God should be hasten he has nothing to offer anybody not even his family. 11 Likes 1 Share |
