Good am NL,

I would appreciate if anyone can tell me cost of the study application fee, cos my agent told me it’s $185.

I’m just trying to avoid extortion from the agent.

Thanks.

$185 quoted by your agent is equivalent to 235CAD which is current the study permit application fees.

Please, has anyone here quarantined in group of two or three since the advent of the 3 days hotel quarantine? The Canadian website says 'Only household should quarantine together' I believe household does not entirely mean family. I and two other nairalanders have booked hotel for our three days hotel stay together in order to save cost. But, to be on the safer side, I'd like to ask for your opinion. Hope we won't run into any problem?

Thank you

This completely boils down to the policies of your bank. Other commercial banks in Nigeria gives credence to making payment to West Union Global Pay because they are well recognised and accredited by most reputed institutions abroad to serve as an intermediary agent b/w the school and international students. You may want to check other banks like Zenith Bank or UBA.

It will end in praise

Anyone heading to Toronto on 14th and landing on 15th, let's connect and quarantine together.

According to the last webinar my DLI hosted, they said you can only quarantine together if you are family and landed same time nd flight. Even extended Family doesn’t count, so make your inquiries before ur travel date to avoid disappointment

1CAD is equivalent to N302/303. It’s a mid market rate. You can work around this rate when you are explaining your POF.

I hope this helps.

Hello house,

I am sorry for the quite unrelated post/question, I was unable to get a quick answer on the IELTS room.

I wish to take the IELTS exam in Lagos, I heard some centers do not give headsets for Listening but instead play the Listening test with a loudspeaker.

I will be happy if anyone who wrote with IDP/MOD (Not British Council) tells me what center they wrote and were given a headset. I am considering writing at the UNILAG center, So if anyone wrote there please advise otherwise let me know alternatives.

Thank you

I wrote mine with IDP sometime in January at the center in Yaba. We were provided with everything needed for the tests, including the said headphones you mentioned.

I hope this clarifies your questions.
