Oh my God! I don't know how to hold it again . All I want is to lick sand. I've been craving for more than a month now and it's getting higher. Thinking of it gives me joy. I want to lick and chew finely sands found near the beach. I'm also craving to drink palm oil. I so much want to smell kerosene and petrol I love them now!. It happened during my first child too but this time is worst.

Me I crave concrete o and I lick it most times , I get fine concrete ( mixture of cement, sand and water) and lick it and the craving will reduce. The feeling and satisfaction is heavenly. I just make sure I lick small quantity unless I won't get myself, I had the same craving during my second pregnancy too but was higher than this present one.

How much is enough for baby shopping?
This is a question I get asked A LOT!
How much do I need to budget?

Depending on if this is your first or second child, you can spend as low as 100k and as high as 500k depending on your pockets.

Draft your list.
Look at what you can improvise on.
Look at what you may likely get as a gift.
At the end of the day, you may not need to spend up to 70k sef.

The important things are
1. Hospital list items.

2. Baby clothes : stick to bodysuits and sleepsuits if you're on a budget. Add sweaters for cold season. Caps, socks, mittens, bibs in minimum quantity.

3. Maternal items for mom's comfort.

4. Feeding and Diaper items
You'll most likely get lots of diaper as gift.
Formulas have a wide price range so you'll find sth that suits you. You can also choose to breastfeed exclusively but make it easy for yourself by getting a very good pump and please eat well!

5. Bath and bodycare items, thankfully there are options here, go for the one you can afford for at least 6m

6. Laundry items, easy to improvise. But go all out if you can afford it.

This my edd I no understand, according to lmp I'm supposed to be 22 weeks with edd of Aug 17,scan has been giving me edd of Aug 25,27 or 31st ..I weak. I hope there is no problem but my doctor doesn't seem concerned..
My bump is big o,and I've started feeling baby movements very well..as for sex ,the baby is hiding..
Meanwhile who else experiences urine leakage when you sneeze or na only me Waka come..it's too early oooo.
I wish all my colleague happy bumping

I'm yet to shop for anything o till maybe June..want to get everything once. This baby kicks like he's playing a football match in my stomach..over active sef. As I am like this ehn,my tired is over tired ,bump is not that big at all and I like it but scared it won't just shoot out unexpectedly soon. Registered for ANC last week and was given another EDD, na them even sabi with the dates.Pls update gender to XY

I think in most cases, babies don't usually come on the exact edd given sef, a space of about 2weeks earlier or later is said to be put into consideration. I guess that's why ur doc doesnt seem botherered abt it.
***The leakage is as a result of hormonal changes/pressure on bladder, I learnt its normal... I don't experience it tho, sabi mamas, abeg help us chook mouth.
We' all be fine.

Choose the one given by your doctor or the first scan you did in the first tremester. If you carry out a scan on the day you are to deliver, scan will still give you another date. I remember my first child, my doctor gave me 23 of November. First scan gave me 27 or so, in fact I did scan on the day I completed 40 weeks and that one gave me ending of December. But went into labour 1st of December, that's almost two weeks after the due date given to me by my doctor. I believe it's better to go with the date of your LMP calculated by your doctor.

Today 6th we are actually 40 weeks and a day gone.
A private doctor has been preaching inducement and preferably elective CS,
Baby weighs about 3.8
STM, although my first baby was induced n delivered normal.

Thinking its way too early, how much more do you think I can still hold on before opting for inducement? Is it bad waiting till we clock 41weeks? Heard at this point, baby grows by the day, how true?

We are good over here. The stomach is so big that the doctor is suggesting it might be twins in there. Lol. Well, first scan said singleton. Yet to conduct a second scan anyway to know the sex of the baby.

Of course baby has been confirmed to be head down and everything okay...
Just some offline mamas saying horribly things about induction gone wrong is an inevitable CS... there is a high tendency that a baby with head down would spin many times as a result of the induction, when this happens the only alternative is CS hence if you intend to be induced, you should equally plan a CS incase...
