I would sit him for Ndidi. That is what I have been saying since yesterday. But if you insist on playing both Ndidi and Kessie then surely Aribo would have to sit. But between Ndidi and Kessie... Kessie sits his ass down.

And also, having Kessie star in a double pivot alongside Ndidi still doesn't alter the players count in the Naija-CIV combined XI. Nigeria would still have 7 players against CIV'S four. So case closed. grin
You dun bend finally? grin

He was playing as a wing back at Levante

Don’t mind the Levante coach jare
Exactly and he was on bench for levante for a whole season .....i hope he get his mojo back...I remembered when rohr started him ahead of Musa in our home match against Cameron in WCQ that was arguably one of the best game super eagles has played for a long time.

I knew a useless epistle was coming but I have already decided not to read beyond the first two lines. I am only quoting it to tell you because I know for sure it is devoid of intelligent analyses.
I mean, Kessie's five seasons in Serie A have him featuring majorly as a DM in three of those seasons including this one. Recently he had been a DM for two seasons straight. From his days at Cesena or so... He played DM, CM and even CB a few times or so.
Abeg. Don't take to me about research I have since done and dished out elsewhere. It is all lame.

And Chuks average during the AfconQs?? I don hear am all. Mister man, your football knowledge sucks for one close to the Eagles Camp. grin I mean, I have guys close to the team and one who speaks with the coach directly and they don't utter such bollocks. Na wa. Looolllzzz

Just continue being the Eagles' Camp reporter. That's all you are good at. Your football knowledge is completely wack. No caps man. It's just how it is. cool

These are trash bro.....my broda you're not there ( in marcaroni's voice) grin grin

You brought out stat for 3 past season are you for real ....wow is this how you analyse grin grin grin digging out the past to suit your bollock narrative.....dude we're talking about here and now for the past two season he has been playing as a CMF for both his team and country....it just like comparing ndidi with a cb all because he started his career as a CB cheesy grin....your football knowledge are wack bro as in real wack you just find bollocks to suit your narrative

And back to chuks ....that was actually the most stupid have ever heard in my entire life....you claimed chuks was our best winger in the AFCONQ and I said he was "average' which was actually true the likes of iwobi had goal/goals contribution than him... I mean who in his sane mind say a player who have an assist ( as in 1 assist ) is the biggest creative force in the team after playing all the 5 games in the tournament even Henry that didn't have upto 90 mins had one assist already....you're just being DELUSIONAL, sentimental...
My brother your analysis is wack ...biko just focus on the match day info you give us and stop feeding us with your beer parlor analysis. Adios

You can't rely on Stats to knock down a Player against another, because Stats, though scientific, but can be mischievous at times.

If you're using Stats to rate Ndidi over Kante, then we should agree Kessie is better than Ndidi as well?!

Hamed is an AM and also a winger. Even if we drop a winger to accommodate the lad because he features as AM predominantly, he doesn't get in ahead of Iwobi. Even Iheanacho still gets my nod in that role behind the striker ahead of Hamed. So your trying to squeeze in Hamed still doesn't hold weight.
You too like unnecessary arguments. Who talked about Iwobi here? I said we are slim in that position, where did I talk about him contending with the one we have already? Bros abeg shift I no get data to waste over what is not worth it.

Everything to you, na argument? undecided

6-5 and we still win... But I insist it is 7-4. Akpoguma gets in ahead of Boly. You can shout on this all you want. Akpoguma's stats attributes over the past two years have been better.

So now even in your own Ojoro XI (since you sneaked in Boly) you FINALLY admit that Nigeria have got a stronger First XI than the Ivorians abi.

Isn't that what I said that began all this rants from your Ivorian asslicking fellows??

Haven't you still proven my point RIGHT?? It shows that you lots just wanted to argue over nothing. Smh.

Abeg. Thank you for starting a baseless argument. My persistence had finally made you admit the central point.

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by cc12(m): 11:17am On Apr 07, 2021
Most of Kessie's goals are penalty kicks

12large1:
you're making no sense at all Fam absolutely no sense. When selecting a combined 11, you're selecting the best possible players among everyone not individually. For example, if there's a midfield options of Ndidi aribo iwobi kessie seri and a coach ask you to select the best 3, you don't compare the best 2 among the list for a position, instead you select the best possible 3 midfielders in the entire list.

Even our king ndidi might not be overall better than kessie or his marginally better. A CDM that has 9 league goals in the top 3 league in the world common. Individually their players are rated higher than us but collectively Nigeria will beat this present ivory coast. (My opinion) our headache now are Senegal and Algeria

You refer to stats right? Between Ndidi and Kessie? I have them right here... wink

Please who has the overall stats rating on the prestigious Whoscored for the past four seasons including this current one between these two? How many times have Kessie actually been rated better? cool

Stop deceiving some guys who do not keenly follow African football. Kessie is a CM not DM. So, it is Kessie over Aribo. Ndidi battles Sangare and fit again Jean Gbamin of Everton.

Zaidu >> Singo and makeshift Cornet

Aurier >> all our RBs

Baily >> Ekong, Awaziem

Boly >> Balogun, Akpoguma

Ndidi >> Sangare and Gbamin on DM

Kessie >> Aribo in CM

Zaha >> all our LWGs

Pepe = Chucks. But in dept, Amad(Man United) and Hamed(Sassoulo) over any other player we have behind Chuks

Iwobi >> Boga
Nothing has changed from my take since yesterday I don't follow football with sentiments neither do I change goal posts to suit my narratives. This is the post that started the argument, now tell me what your argument has been hinged on, if you think it hasn't been baseless, considering that my combined 11 still tallies with the post you jumped on yesterday to argue unnecessarily.

But the whole argument erupted when I challenged the notion that some you guys stated about CIV having the better first XI than Nigeria.
You were the one trying to twist my midfield angles. You were running away from Ndidi vs Kessie. grin

My points were two fold:

1. We have the better First XI and we would have more players in a combined Naija-CIV XI right now.

2. We also have the better depth than CIV does overall.

Simple. So it's you who rather jumped in when I quoted your initial lineup from pages back and didn't understand my angles of argument.

Kante is a world class player that has my fullest respects. But the last time Kante was really the most dominant CDM in the league was as far back as 2017/2018 also following up on his 2016/17 exploits with Chelsea.

Ndidi have been the best CDM in the league for the past three seasons now including this one. That throne used to Kante's but it is now Ndidi's. That's the context.

Kante remains the boss he is. No one is taking that from him.
