Last year you were asking a question about which app was better and you got good answers. Why answering this way to him? What if he's a newbie? Wasn't this place meant to give some form of c.ryp.to education?

So he shouldn't complain if he lost a few dollars because people are losing millions? Bros no be so. Everyone sees a particular sum of money differently.
Give education, yes.

Ask another to control your financials without doing some effort to know the basics or even know why you got in in the first place or worse you don't even know the purpose of what you got... No

As for the screenshot you using as evidence, I asked that question AFTER discovering about limit/stop orders which Luno didn't have at that time and I learned about it first.
And also to know how good they were based on other users. Got my answer on the ED thread.

But hey if you think this is me being rude, that's me stating facts and I don't sugarcoat things if money is involved.

Either he and others asking others to make decisions on their financials learn now or they learn the hard way when others use them as bag holders.

The bolded is not true!!! At the time of writing this, E.T.H as a 24h trading volume of $23billion+....B.N.B as a 24h trading volume of $4billion+ while Win as a trading volume of just $1billion+ a far cry from that of E.Th and B.NB. With Win current market supply, it is absolutely true, it will take more than half a trillion dollar to see it price at the 1dollar mark........I doubt the C.O.I.N can ever become that big....but I know currently, it still as more room for growth.

I'm a newbie. Trying to use bi.nan.ce.com
I erroneously denied it access to my phone camera for facial verification initially.. now it keeps saying it can not access my camera.
How do I overcome this?

Thanks for your response.
I actually tried the app but wasn't able to fully log in because I wasn't getting the email verification code.. I only got phone verification code..
The submit button wasn't functioning when I tried to submit only the phone code

So I went back to their website..

Go into your settings (Binance app) , clear cache and retry.

Additionally, manually grant the app all relevant permissions from your phone settings.

PS: I hope you're aware trading is risky and there's no 100% guarantee in it's results.

I'm not guaranteeing you this, I'm only sharing you an update I partook in myself so we all have the same results after on so it won't look like I drop results of an update I didn't share.

Financial Literacy

Heard of Portfolio Diversification?

In investments, not putting your eggs in one basket is called "Portfolio Diversification."

Portfolio diversification is the process of investing your money in different asset classes.

It's basically having a blend of investments.
Diversification is key to keeping your portfolio balance healthy – especially in periods of economic downturn.

Why Is It Important to diversify?

It’s simple! To minimise the overall risk.

In the event of you carrying all your eggs in one basket, there's a greater risk of you losing all of them if something bad happens.

However, if you place your eggs in different baskets, you still have some eggs left if anything happens to one of the baskets. This can also be likened to your investments.

When you effectively diversify your portfolio, you minimise risks. So, even if unforeseen market events come up, all your investments will not be uniformly affected.

How Can You Diversify Your Portfolio?

1. Choose A Range of Assets
This means dividing your investment portfolio among different asset categories such as stocks, CryptoCurrency mutual funds, bonds, etc.

2. Spread Your Investments
After choosing your range of assets, spread your money across them. If you're much younger, you can afford to take more risks and be aggressive with growth.

However, if you are older, you can’t be as aggressive. You should spread your investments more conservatively.

3. Invest In Global Markets
The internet has made it easy and possible to invest in both local market & the global window.

With the help of your mobile phone, you can easily invest in the Nigeria Stock Exchange, US or London Stock Market, CryptoCurrency etc to mention a few.

When you invest in global markets, you get exposed to investment opportunities that are not present locally and hedge currency risk.

4. Rebalance Your Portfolio Regularly
Portfolio diversification is not a one-off event.
Ensure you keep building your portfolio.

There is a concept called "cost averaging."

Cost averaging helps you to put a fixed amount of money into an investment at regular intervals, thereby cutting down investment risks.

5. Don’t Over-diversify
If you hold too many assets, it can do more harm than good to your portfolio. This means if you over-diversify, you may be holding back your capacity for growth.

This is because if you have little proportions of your money in different or too many investments, your portfolio risk is definitely low, and so is your expected rate of returns.

While portfolio diversification is important, we should not go overboard and spread it too thinly or even invest in assets that we don't require. You’ll also be dedicating time as well as capital, as diversification requires the regular monitoring of the health of your portfolio. Some investors choose to open fully managed portfolios, to pass over this responsibility to a professional.

We should also know that diversification doesn't mean the possiblity of losses getting incurred is eliminated completely.

When you diversify and balance effectively, you lower the risk of losses to the barest minimum. ⁣

Have a great weekend!

Someone gave my friend 1m to trade Crypto because he is quite good at it. Two weeks after buying a coin, he made a 300K profit. The person was happy. Then he bought another coin that dipped and lost 100K from the 300K profit. The person began harassing him about losing her moneyGrimacing face

I mean, the 100K that was lost was from a profit. The capital is still there with a 200K profit IN TWO WEEKS the person didn't work for. Easy money. But the 100K loss from a money that isn't technically yours yet is what you're worked up about. Greed is a sin

One thing I've learnt from my little experience in dealing with Crypto (in fact all form of investment) is to NOT BE GREEDY, Be grateful for little gains and always be ready for bad days. It is okay to lose as long as it doesn't bankrupt you. 1.2m from 1m is still profit

Btw, this friend of mine started trading during last year's lockdown and he's gotten quite good at it. He recently initiated me.

If you're yet to key into the race of the moment, you should. Start off by getting tips from those experienced in the business (but don't be greedy)

One of the best ways to start off is by following signals for trading. I'd recommend them for crypto and Forex where they have expertise.

You can join the WhatsApp group after registration and benefit from their guidance/tips and other advance services.

Simple advice, don't trade for anyone!
The psychological stamina when trading with your money is different from when you trade with other people's money because if things go south, you can recoup it yourself but when it's other people's funds, you'll be pressured.
