In the wake of crisis rocking south west PDP and rumors flying around about the possibility of Gov. Seyi Makinde’s impending defection to APC, two APC governors and a senator today visited the embattled governor.

Governor Zulum of Bornu state, Governor AbdulRahman Abdulrasaq of Kwara and Senator Kashim Shettima were with the Oyo state government for undisclosed reasons.

What could be the reason for this visit?

I am yet to understand the importance of this news

This visit is very significant because of the personalities involved and their political loyalty as far as 2023 is concerned. The Tinubu camp is not leaving anything to chance at all.

It will be a great mistake for him if he decides to join the APC... Besides, APC Oyo Chapter does not and will never support him. APC Oyo Chapter has so many candidates that are aspiring for the seat come 2023.

Seyi Makinde has failed woefully & he's free to join any political party of his choice. I can assure him that even if he remains in PDP and the party give him ticket in 2023, he will still lose

I pray God makes it possible for this failed forced country to be splited before 2023 or during 2023 election
