Can we play some defense!!!.. I mean any at this point?
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 2:58am On Apr 08, 2021
Better energy and intensity from the team especially in the 4th Q but we have to be better on defense! Also, while he knocked down important shots because they left him open, I am still worried our ball movement ends up with Smart taking these shots.

Big shout out to Stan Van Gundy and the Pelicans for giving IT a 10 day contract. He has looked good in 2 games, hopefully he does enough to convince the Pelicans to sign him for the rest of the season or a longer term contract.

KD is a joke man. Pure joke

Another guy that's a well kept secret at this point is Michael Porter Jr. How embarrassed are the teams that passed on him must be feeling now. Doc Rivers I sight you

MAGA Mike is more or less a light skinned KD with elite rebounding. He will be a match up nightmare moving forward. Pree the efficiency

MPJ. I agree. I took a mental note of him when I saw the young dude do some impressive and gutsy things at the Bubble playoffs. This season the game has slowed down for him and he has come into his beautiful own.

I don't blame the teams that passed on him though. Lower back disc surgery at such a young age ďid not look good at all. The Nuggets took a huge risk on him and it's paying off. Lucky them.

Griping about his shots as essentially a rookie publicly could be construed as problematic but the kid knows his worth and I respect that.

I 100% blame teams that passed on him. Anything from the 3rd pick downwards you should totally take a flier on a 6'10 guy that can score from all ends of the floor. And can rebound at a high level. Thus far I can only definitively point to 3 guys better than him in that draft

This was my post about MPJ as far as 2019. I saw his games while he was at Missouri and I knew he was built for the NBA. I knew once he caught a break, he would mature into something special in the NBA. Big credit to the Nuggets for being patient throughout this process.

Here is my problem with trusting the Utah Jazz.. Down the stretch in the 4th, they are too predictable with their offense.. They basically run all plays through D. Mitchell and that is quite easy to defend. I observed this problem last season at the bubble and again last night against the Suns.

Yea, I remember him calling out Jokic and Jamal after they were 3-1 down after game 4 against the Clippers. Dude legit believed in himself.

Gutsy effort by the Celtics to comeback and overcome a large deficit. Our defense continues to be ridiculously poor and there is no end in sight for this problem. Congrats to Tatum on a career night... He was un-guardable, ending the game with 53pts/10Reb.

You have got to absolutely respect the Lakers for coming out to compete despite being depleted by injuries. A. Drummond is going to be huge for this roster when LBJ and AD return. They are still the favorites to win the West in my book when AD and LBJ return.

The Nets taking out their starters as a result of the blowout but the Lakers not doing likewise because it's their role players who have been on the court since the start grin

Person wey no get sense, So happy for drummond honestly.... he cooked lamarcus All night. Dude plays it old school. Lakers team is deeper than people imagine, adding macklemore that's a straight up shooter ticks all the boxes. Come playoffs i still see this nets team having issues. Who'll be the closer, who'll take the last shot when the game's on the line? Twud most likely be between kd n kyrie cos harden na choker no be today, Lets see though. But if the Lakers are ay full strength omo i don't see any team stopping them.

The health of the Lakers might be an issue, even though I think KD, Kyrie and Harden are just too much firepower for anyone. I fear that AD's achilles is something like what KD suffered in 2019 and so I don't think he'll be 100% in the playoffs. I've already given this championship to Brooklyn.

That Kyrie/Schroder matchup is the matchup I really wanted to see in the first leg. Offense meets defense. Schroder be like " you can dance all you want but you ain't dropping 40 on me" cheesy

DeRozan is having a spectacular season with the Spurs but he is not getting the hype and he is doing it with lesser talent around him. He just hit a game winning clutch shot against the Mavs.. He has been smoking hot recently.. Infact for the most part of this season. It would be interesting to see what he does in the off-season with regards to his future.

I'm almost certain some Bronsexuals are almost disappointed the Lakers are surviving and thriving in LeNomad's absence and making a mockery of the Nets avengers bants.

Did you know that the Lakers still have the #1 defensive rating even since AD and LeNomad went down.

This is the kind of solid coaching job guys like Frank Vogel do but you see Bronsexuals like Acho call a PE teacher and try to downgrade his role in their success

Mitchell's inefficiency is unacceptable for any team hoping to succeed in the playoffs. Man's shot 12/31 and that's how his playoff numbers typically look. I will give him a pass for his play last season but he needs to do something about the inefficiency

Jamal Murray has suffered a torn ACL and is out indefinitely. Just when the Nuggets had a slim chance of making some noise in the postseason, this happens!

I wish Jamal all the best and hope he rehabs well.

This is a devastating blow to the Nuggets' post season aspirations. Came at the wrongest of times. So so sad for Murray. May he be healed speedily and come back better and stronger.

Dame Tatum Time!

What a clutch performance by Tatum.. How about the gutsy call by Brad Stevens? He instructed Smart to miss his free throws.. out of bounds, force Lillard to take a shot from his own check in area..

Throwing gang signs is popular amongst most NBA players and not exclusive to DeRozan.. We see it everyday.. Pregame announcement, during games and post game celebrations.. it’s nothing new among NBA players especially black players..
