Does this exlusive list mean only federal govt can embark on those projects ?
PROUDIGBO:

Rail and seaports are on the exclusive list, and besides, hell will first freeze over before a Buhari gov't approves one to be built at Obuaku or Azumini! If by the off-chance they do, they will make sure no one kobo of Abuja money is spent on its construction.

Umahi is trying though the money is for the state so no politician in Nigerian is suppose to be praised because they are well paid till they die as governors or president or local government
chairman. Though, local governments are developmentally dead because of the governors selfice interests. This woe was brought to our dear nation because of Obasanjo's 3rd term agenda. You're making yourself happy despite knowing fully that you're deceiving yourself. After Muritala Muhammed International airport Lagos state the next is Nnamidi Azikwe International airport Abuja and others are local airports constructed in Africa standard.

Anambra airport is the best in Nigeria

The under-dog is now the lead

Ebonyi that used to be the least in the South-East, is now even far ahead of Anambra

Kudos!

Everywhere airport. How many people in that impoverished state fly?
While he’s still building roads and hospitals why haven’t you asked how many people walk, drive a vehicle or even need a doctor from the so called impoverished state?

You can’t just handle the bitterness of seeing Ebonyi developing rapidly while you’re not sure of spending tonight outside of your refugee camp.

I wish Abia will jettison any airport project and focus on Azumini seaport
Does the Azumini seaport connect directly to Atlantic Ocean?

Abakaliki is connected to the revised rail track from Calabar to Maiduguri.

So you’ll have a rail track and also an airport. There’s been a reason why Umahi had been visiting Ikpeazu last year before the airport commenced after the approval had been sealed.

The idea was for Abia and Aba products to be freighted using Ebonyi airport. I don’t know if that’s why Ikpeazu jettisoned his airport too. As ebonyi is both passenger and cargo airport alike. Rail track will run across ebonyi also so it makes more sense for the economic friendship between abia and ebonyi state as they share boundaries. Dave is constructing dual high way that leads to abia state boundary to ensure wide roads that will transport cargo from aba to ebonyi, is in order and waiting for the airport to be commissioned.

All South south state has airport. It isn't bad if the same goes to South East.
For those mentioning the proximity between enugu and ebonyi, it's good to have alternative in every thing incase of sudden failure

I'm not sure it's Abia state of the present government. If it is another maybe likely.

What a waste of money, most likely borrowed funds. Same as the joke in Anambra state.

Worse still is folks are praising this. Airports are useless without traffic.

Southeast governors within 2 hour radius of Enugu should have worked together to improve that airport and drive traffic there. That would have been prudent and profitable for all.

This comment might sound dumb, crazy and stupid. One major reason these politicians are so keen on this Airport is because of La cream girls who won’t mind flying through Ebonyi airport even though they will be going to Enugu from Lagos. That way they will branch government house first to chop prick and collect some cash.

That governor has foresight. With the level of infrastructures in place, high level of poverty will reduce. Next governor wouldn't stress on capital development rather human infrastructure.
