Na wa for hypocrites o. Same people will go and buy bush meat, fish pepper soup, eat meat, even eat domesticated chickens and goats. Yet come online to condemn hunting or fishing sef.

Hunting is allowed in as much as your aren't poaching a protected specie or animals. You can't enjoy bush meat and condemn legitimate hunting

Fly where do you live?

The other day your brother killed a crocodile.
https://www.nairaland.com/6353816/story-first-alligator-brother-caught

You have also killed a civet and a bushbuck. Today it is a monkey and a porcupine. You seem to be surrounded by wildlife and pretty determined to reduce it too.

The number and variety of animals you have killed can comfortably start a private mini-zoo.

What is in these killings for you? Sport or survival?

Kind of funny...but you asked a pertinent question

Nigeria should enact laws to protect wildlife, what is this bikonu?

It is not every meat that we should be eager to eat. Some of these animals, expecially monkeys may carry diseases easily transmissible to humans. And some of these animals are already endangered species.

In late 80s and early 90s, there were these beautiful moths and butterflies I normally see, which I no longer see nowadays in my village. Caterpillars that form these moths and butterflies have turned to food for some.

Travel along East West Road, Bayelsa & Delta states, you will see these maggots openly sold, including turtles.

The Nigeria that cannot protect human life should protect animal life?

Who told you monkey is not poisonous?!

They carry almost the same blood and biology as that of humans and no matter how long you cooked them you can't get rid of the bacteria and viruses they carry. In fact, they have similar genetic make-up like that of we human beings.

Bros there is a law, in respect to trade and killing of endangered species only that it is regulated mostly at the Port but if there is an incident or someone report the concern body act immediately

you're technically saying human meat too is poisonous, lol, you're dishonorably discharged, listen, monkey is not poisonous, its edible and sweet, am sure you only feel since it looks like human just because humans are prohibited not to eat humans, you now let emotions cloud your sense of judgement, go and sleep to refresh your natural sense if at all you have no sixth sense to know the difference between fact and fallacy.

Nairaland need to ban celebration of killing wildlife like this so as to protect and conserve these beautiful creatures to repopulate. Nigerians must stop this attitude of killing innocent creatures that could be a money spinning tourism venture like other eastern and southern African countries. Not everything must be eaten nah.

at least for the record, don't forget how you embarrassed yourself insinuating that monkey is poisonous and of course your only defense of the fallacy is for me to go online.
