30k permanent job with expenses of roughly 1l daily both Tp and lunch, how much go cum remain
40k temporary job without expense, free breakfast and lunch
That means the breakdown goes this way
Remuneration = 30000
Expenses = 1000
1k x 5 = 5000 for one week
5000 x 4 = 20000 for one month
Therefore at the end of the month u will be saving 10k if at all their is no miscellaneous expenses
It will take u 4 months to save up to 40k of your temporary job.
So the ball is in your court.
If I'm to come in, I will only advice u to take up that 40k job, then u can use the part to learn driving or any skill, why I choose driving is bcs diving job is very very easy to get in Lagos

Permanent Job but only if you are Okay with the Salary and the 700naira transportation cost .

If you are not okay with the permanent Job , then finish the temporary Job and continue searching for a better deal
Re: Which Should I Choose? by EmptyGarden(m): 1:31pm On Apr 13, 2021
The so-called permanent job pays about 1k daily, and 70% of it is spent on transportation... Don't enslave yourself my broda, manage this temp. job and hope for better things to come. Ah ah, you plan to work for the bus drivers?

Good afternoon house,

I need the opinions of the experienced people here.

I just resumed a temporary job today as a data entry collector for 2021 jamb students at an IT firm and the pay is 2k daily which will run for a month, there's no expenses of transportation and there's breakfast and lunch.

While I was on the job today I received a call from an interview I had online last week that I will be resuming fully on Wednesday. The salary is same as minimum wage. Transportation is upto 700 daily.

The difference between the two is first one is temporary(1 month) while the second one is a full time job, and I just resumed the first one today.

Am confused I don't want to make a wrong choice, that's why I brought it here to hear from the experienced ones.

It's urgent, I need to make a decision asap.

Thanks.

A consistent and reliable source of income is better than any contract job. Job security is key here

Your case is like comparing arable crops to cash crop. Arable crop will grow within months ,get harvested and that will be the end of the matter. But cash crop will keep supply harvest year in ,year out till the end of the planter . I beg run to take up the permanent job and you will have more opportunity to grow therein.

How do Nigerians survive on 30k.. 40k... Per month?

I'm actually in disbelief.. who can explain? Like.. is their a different market things are cheap or it's the same market we all go to where 40k can't even take care of foodstuff
Indeed!
I had to read it well.
I'm not even try ing to be elitist but N250k job I won't accept. It's unfair what employers are doing to people. I spend over half of his salary to fuel my cars in a month.
Meanwhile the company turnover maybe over N25m a month.

Based on the the extent of details provided:

Permamnet Job -

monthly pay N30,000

daily transport of 700 for 20 days (average of 20 days a month you have N14, 000)

Therefore the company is offering you a total of N44,000 - i.e. N30,000 monthly plus the N14, 000 for transport.

TMP job

N40,000 per month

Breakfast and lunch - say about N1,000 per day for 20 days, you have N20,000 worth of food.

That is about N60, 000 monthly.

Note:

1. No job is permanent, though the contract of permanent job with the first one is comforting, but you are not expected to just relax. You need to aspire for better opportunities as they present in the nearest future. Use the opportuniies you have now to build your network and hone your skills in the data control career.

2. 2nd option: N30,000 is all your as you transport is being subsidized. Enjoy it while it last, They may use this to lure in and Management can up with cost cutting, economy this and that, etc

Of course, your choice is obvious, depending on your other situations not discussed here.

All the BEST!!!

And he has choice to chose!

I wish the bandits, unnamed gunmen etc will target these politicians and leave the masses alone.

Or foreign countries will ban them from medical tourism.

It's so unfortunate.

Google the two company and see if in the next 5 years

they would be able to survive as a company.

Then check your cost and see how relevant you are to the

company.

Then decide.

Inform the permanent job offer that you can't resume till the next month I.e May 1. So work the temporary till end of this month and resume at the so called permanent job next month.

Just so you and others know, there is no permanent job. It's either you sack yourself or you are sacked for whatever reason.

I'm assuming you are very young, my advice is go and learn a skill, either you be an apprentice for someone in an expertise you like or study an online course in Digital skills and learn how to freelance on fiver or freelancer, Those jobs will destroy your future. so my strategy, do the temporal job if you really need cash for these things i listed, after a month or 2, take your money and leave.
