Greetings,
Kindly help me with your sincere opinions. I'm a health professional and I plan for the opportunity to leave Nigeria to overseas where there I presume have well paying jobs. At same time, just recently landed the opportunity to work in a Federal teaching hospital. Should I continue with my plans to leave to overseas or better to keep the Federal job in Nigeria?

Thank you in anticipation.

I will advise you to keep the Federal job for now and from there you can be looking for some overseas healthcare agencies that can hire you and also assist you to process your travelling documents while you're in Naija which will be a soft landing.

Accept the job, put in some years(2 max), join a Caucus, set your traveling plan in motion, when you are successful with that, apply for study leave at your place of work (you might even be lucky to have your salary still streaming in while you are on leave) and once that clicks, you can then travel.

If I were in your shoes, this is how I would go about it. Incase the abroad is not so favourable, you can always come back to your job. And if it is favourable, your salary can be channelled into the welfare of your people at home. Note that, nobody at your place of work must know about this plan.

Congrats on the job.
I agree with you oo

Continue with your plans but resume work anyways. Once the opportunity clicks, apply for a one month leave to go and check your new home...by God's grace, it will work for you.

It is very simple... Accept the job while you perfect your traveling plans plus the job is even an advantage to your travel plan.

And the last time I checked, people still resign from jobs whether private or government.

Typical Nigerian greedy man
Why must you be paid for job you are not doing

How are you different from other selfish politicians??

The most honourable thing to do is to resign from the job when you have decided to travel
