Have you made an arrangement for their school and care in the Uk? Consent letter is likely to work with adequate arrangement.

I am in this situation myself and I remember I read somewhere on this thread that consent letter will not suffice . So the option available in such situation is to apply for Sole custody order from the court, this has to be signed and accepted by their Dad.. So my plan now is to apply first, when i have my stamped passport, I will take care of that hurdle.

This is not a good idea and not a solution

I don't have any contact with Waec, if you are in Lagos, I will advise you to go to the waec office in Yaba, or Ogba.

Explain yourself to them, I am sure you will be directed to someone who will help.

I don’t think any school comes close in terms of operating at snails speed like Birmingham city university . Good school tho

I have never read that here before, only if you are referring to a couple who are separated, but happily married couple, living together don’t decide to go for sole custody of their kids.

Congrats on your offer. I am trying to understand your complaints. Which account are you having issues with? You can’t log into your email account, you can’t log into your salford application portal or both.

Ps: I called the school few minutes ago, they said an offer letter will come in within 5working days of getting an offer decision.

Lets keep in touch. I have have unconditional offers with Sheffield Hallam, Leeds Beckett, Sunderland and Oxford Brookes. But my first choice is Salford which is why I can’t wait to get that letter so I continue with my admission process.

Hi, do u have issues with error on DOB? Court Affidavit can suffice but if u need waec cover letter I can help u with someone

Note pls: Sole physical custody NOT Sole legal custody. They are two different things, the former is caused by separation or distance and the father still has full parental rights as u will need his permission before making important decisions about the child's upbringing while the latter is often triggered by divorce, u won't need his permission for the above but he retains his visitation rights.

Please in my own case my hubby is in a different country while me and my son are in the same country.

So I'm thinking of applying for my self and my child, then apply for him... will this work?

That Journey is not easy. I don't know how but meanwhile while you wait. i suggest you apply to another school that accepts NECO where age won't show on Certificate
