Firstbank does MBS tho it's new and not all branches are on the platform.
Payment of 1000 plus 15 naira Vat is made on paydirect platform to generate a receipt. Thereafter,the MBS request form will be forwarded to one of the selected processing branches by the csu officer of your branch of visit.

Guy, I am in the same boat as you. I applied first week of February and I am still waiting. I would just advise you to take your mind off it. Get busy with work, learning a skill or trading online or something. If you just wait and keep on checking your portal everyday the anxiety can kill you. There is nothing you can do to speed the process up to the best of my knowledge.

The duration of the MBA at University of New Brunswick is 1 year, which automatically grants you 1 year PGWP. I don't think the duration of the PGWP should be too much of a bother to you now as there are numerous opportunities of securing your PR immediately after studies through the International Graduate Stream at the New Brunswick Altantic Province.

Upfront medical exam can be done before and after the submission of your application. The benefit of undertaking a medical exam upfront is simply to expedite the processing of one's application as you wouldn't wait all the time for the visa officer to initiate the request.

University of New Brunswick is quite cheaper for MBA with 1 year duration.

My agent showed me people that have done it from First Bank.

I also called Mybankstatement customer care number and I was told even though First bank is not listed there, that you can also send your estatement from firstbank (I mean this is first bank). and it is done from their HQ in Lagos. but a mail needs to me sent from the branch.

You apply for the both at same time when preparing your study permit application. There is an online questionnaire that ask if work is a component of your program, you're to tick YES and a column where you can upload evidence of work placement letter will pop up on your CIC account.

Any reason for him sending the full amount to your account? Given that he is your legitimate spouse, there is no need sending money to you when he is financially buoyant to finance your studies in Canada. It is highly recommended that you should provide his bank statement to demonstrate the provenance of the funds.

Hmm...my advice. Go to the firstbank branch and request to see the operations manager if customer service can't help. Insist this is a service rendered by the bank in which payment is made on paydirect platform for 1015 plus VAT. Also insist that the operation manager escalates to enquire how it is being processed. Let them know u know what u are saying and u have seen people get it from same FBN.
You will get your request processed.
