Working as a bank teller won't give you time for opportunity outside and if u decide to take a career in banking then you really need to work and connect with the big guys inside in order to be getting promotion

Please I will personally advise you not to go for the Bank work. You will not have time for yourself as a teller, Have you heard of shortage??once that occur you have to balance your account before closure of the day business, you will be prone to robbery at any time thereby making your life not safe. There is no guarantee that you are going to be converted to permanent staff which they always promise to use destiny. Bros sack can come at any time as a bank teller. I think with these u will use Ur head on which to choose

The prospect for growth is limited, and the schedule of work will hinder you from switching jobs cos you won't be able to attend other interviews. Besides, the risk is high for the teller job. You are going to pay back the differences any time you have short fall, which may even be higher than your salary.

With the warehouse job, you can work harder, get certified and aim to grow on the ladder: Warehouse manager (inbound or outbound), Distribution manager or something higher within the supply chain functions. The skills are also transferable.

Choose warehouse assistant it would give you more time to engage in other things that may bring in passive income to augment your salary. Chk my signature if you need passive income

As a bank teller did you consider paying for extra training in banking and finance to upscale your skill for higher-paying jobs and opportunities.

I work as a bank teller. I am talking from experience. 1 or 2 years in , you will want a way out and security of job is very low. Once the bank want nothing to do with your employer, thats all. No more job.

I hear you, but the bank work is exhaustive. Op will usually get home tired everyday. UBA for example, you will be on duty one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) in a month, depending on the number of staff in that branch. Where's then the time and energy for personal development?

The risk is also there. You can cook beans, like they call it, when you have a shortfall, and you must find the money unfailingly that day before you leave. This is the most annoying part. My kid sis had a shortfall of 100k Tuesday this week. She had only worked for two months on 80k salary. She was practical crying on phone begging me to help her with 80k cos she had just 20k in her account. Imagine what type of work is that. She leaves home 6am, doesn't return until 8 or 9pm. In spite all, gbese still dey follow. Is that work?

I will advise you choose the Warehouse assistant job because of these reasons:
1. Warehousing is a sub unit of Supply Chain, and supply chain jobs are readily available. If you are educated with degrees, you only need at most 6months experience to be able to apply for a better Warehouse supervisor position elsewhere.
2. This position would give you time to get engaged in other aspects of your life
3. You get to learn first hand about organisation management.

If you are discipline and dedicated, you will learn quickly about end to end of supply chain management.

I will advise, in any of the job you finally choose, don't steal or commit fraud .

My candid advice don't choose the bank work, you will be frustrated, insulted, enslaved, used and dumped and there is no career path for you there.
I'm talking from experience.(10yrs)

Why chose between 2 bad options when you can learn something new and make 50 times of whatever those two companies can pay you combined!

The only thing stopping a normal Nigerian from living the dream is fear of stepping out, as long as you are only interested in your comfort zone threads like this will keep popping out.

Suggest some profitable new skills one can learn in let's say, 5 to 6 months.
