Sorry for the late response

You do not need OK To Board

Going through Cotonou or Ghana, you will have to spend 14 days in either of the countries, for Ghana you will pay $50 on arrival for Ecowas stamping and you must show a $50 note for antigens test. You will pay another 300 cedis when you decide to fly out of Ghana after 14 days.

Calculating the cost of hotel booking
Feeding for 14days
$100 for stamping and post arrival test
300 cedis for departure test
#50900 for Covid-19 test in Nigeria (Departure)
Flight ticket to Ghana

You can answer the question bro

America001:

Baba HILCROWN, I greet you oh. You na OG for this thread.
Please someone going back on a residence visa just like you, does he need an OK To Board?

Secondly, as for this Ghana/Cotonou route, how feasible is it folks?

Calvary Greetings

My brother this is too much.
Have you gone back?

I don't understand the part where I have to pay $50 for Ecowas stamp into Ghana.

Meanwhile I tried booking flights to Dubai from Cotonou and couldn't find any.

Can we talk privately?

Honestly speaking from the depth of my heart, with ramandan and the slow pace of job hunting. I will not advice anyone who's not buoyant to pass through cotonu/ghana except you are coming here to do your freelance residency.

My opinion: office timing are reduced and slow pace of business until the last 10 days to end ramandan.

Let's hope flights resume on or before the end of ramandan.

My brother you're right just that some of us are at the end of our visa validity.

Someone like me has been in Nigeria and my residence visa will automatically become invalid by next month if I don't enter UAE.

So even though I concur with you but I need not wait for Ramadan to end cos I've waited long enough and this is where it has landed me, waiting, waiting and waiting. Naija matters nawa

Bro. Kindly avail me with your arrival information. I have a friend coming in from Dubai next month and he is weary of these 14 days corona window period once he gets to Nigeria. Will he be housed for the 14days ? How much will he have to pay ? Is it a must ? This and more I request from you and any one who recently re turned to Nigeria this year. He needs to know whats at stake and to prepare ahead of his flight back to naija. Thanks.

Interesting thread.
Good luck my Nigerian brethren. Please always keep in mind the reason why you are leaving Nigeria before coming over. So many people forget this and they make the honest ones look bad.
All the best.

Your case is different bro, but are there no delegates going to UAE embassy?

Possibly some of them are using private jets to enter Dubai from reliable source.

I feel so bad for our people coming in... please just bear with the situation.

Is this not cheaper than getting a new visa? Considering that the validity of my visa gon expire on 28th of April and i will still have to get a new one whenever the flight restrictions is resolved.

From your estimates, I calculate flight 60k, hotel bills 60k, feeding 60k. Total of 180k. I should consider this.
relax man, I have similar issue. my visa validity expired already but am not bothered I knw they will extend all visa validity once flight restrictions are lifted

This is a very wrong information.

The cost of Covid 19 test in Cotonou is 50000 CFA which is approximately #45000 as at yesterday.

The place for covid 19 test is at a strategic area in the capital city and it's not known by many bike riders. The name of the place is called "Palais des congles" and the office is opened from 8am- 5pm.

I was fortunate to see an elderly bike man who knew the place. I paid him 5000 CFA (#4500) to and fro of the journey (from seme badagry border to the test center and back to seme border from the test center.

It's more than an hour journey with bike so to and fro is 2hrs. I thank God I never took cab because there was traffic and besides the stress of taking cabs up and down to where you don't know and where they hardly speak English could be frustrating

Hello everyone... i greet y’all. Please,I just started following this thread and I’ve achieved alot from it, although I’d like to ask a few questions regarding student visa to Dubai. I heard schools in Dubai are not really worth it. Please, how true is that?

What’s the situation of Nigerians studying in Dubai?

Are students allowed to work with their visa?
