Sure so long as the inverter is same spec i.e 48v battery setup should have 48v inverters

That dude you mentioned is a low-key scam artist. He knows how to take pictures of TVs to make it look inviting while the real deal is so bad you wonder if it's a different tv. Same dude sold TV to a guy I know and it arrived without remote. TV that was touted to be super flat screen appear like the energy guzzler LCD TVs of the early 2000's era. It was supposed to come with remote and he surprisingly "forgot" to add it. Quality of the TV is just poor. At best the owner had to go to a local dealership and got himself a tv. Ended up sending the scrap he sold as 2019 TV to the village. Did I mention that this same fraud waybilled this tv and somehow "forgot" to pay for it even though he has collected the waybill fee?

These days I won't advise anyone to buy tv from that dude or even try any "fairly" used tv as there is no fair deal with em. As usual he'll only read this review and disappear back to his thread without saying jack.

Damn! This is crazy.

As to him knowing how to take nice pictures of TV to look attractive and you get sent something that looks old, i suspect (just an assumption) that he probably takes pictures of the good ones from some nearby shop, then sends the scam down to the buyer.

The easiest ones for 'em to fix and sell as good are LG products because of high demand and availability of cheap and imitation spare parts.

The Modus Operandi with your guy and with me looks like variations of a specific script.

Well, I wouldn't put it pass what he and others can do who in their bid to make more money, obviously short-change their customers and put it down to them being smart.

Boss, I heard that our light drops below 80v. That's the reason why I'm looking for something in that range.
Can you pls educate me small about this servo and relay? The relay type has something in the range of what I'm looking for but I don't want to make wrong choice.

[quote author=goddyior post=84619883]Dear nairalanders,
I wish to know whether zinox ipowerplus xplus 3kva 48vdc puresine wave inverter can last say for more than 5 years when it is used in an off grid Home on a daily basis? I mean the newly produced Red inverters.
Will the inverter power a 100 litres thermocool chest freezer?
What about the Gel batteries?
Thanks for anticipated answers. please, I wish to know the Amp capacity of felicity lithium-ion batteries :
1. Felicity 12v 2kwh lithium ion battery.
2.Felicity 12v 2.5kwh lithium ion battery.

Servos are more efficient, attached is a well summed up comparison. I don't know of a servo at less than 80v but you would get relay at 45v though I doubt it will be useful

Wao, sorry for the experience, it's a very sad one. I was looking for a tv to buy about the time u did. I had bought LG tvs some years back, 2012-2015. All new from LG main sellers, in akure, Ibadan and Ogbomosho. Mine, 125k, my brother, 90k, my in law 85k and my flat mate, 100k. Reason I went all out for Lg was, I had one from UK, up till this moment, no stab or surge protector or anything. The tv is connected to mains 24/7 it goes off whenever there is power outages. Still working fine. So, back to the Lgs I bought, none survived the surge, or any irregular voltage, mind you, all was connected to stabs! Except the one from UK. Since then I vowed never to near anything labelled LG. Except the ones from UK or Europe. So I went in search of used Tv, my first stop was here, naira land, and I got to those threads, including the one u talked about. All they were posting and specs are not just adding up, including the pictures(mind you, women can't collect money from me, but electronics will), so before I pay, I do my research. That's was when I discovered that this guys in Alaba do couple this stuff together, though I do repair tv in Alaba way back, I know my people very well there. After none could convince me, I just locked up I went for Sony that nearly cost an eye

Since I often ship stuff back and forth, most electronics in my home are from the USA but all-voltage. (Un)fortunately, none has developed faults within warranty duration. Even after warranty duration. Recently gave out my 12 year old Sony TVs to buy newer models of Sony and LG. And I'm having a ball. None needs protection gear as I'm mostly off-grid anyway and the house wiring is secure. Did they cost more? No doubt. Shipping cost and wait period worth it? Oh yeah! But that's just how I like to do my stuff.

You never know when a new device might go belly up so give yourself the ease of mind that comes with guaranteed warranty. Whether here or across the seas, when it comes to electronics, you get what you pay for.

I was in this situation once. Over tightened a lug and broke off the inverter terminal screw.

Scoured Arena Oshodi and all they had were old rusty cast aways and mostly didnt fit.

If you visit a service center for your mustpower brand, they are likely to have a pristine looking sample from a dead or abandoned inverter that they can sell to you.

In my case I drilled a snug hole in the broken terminal, passed a 16mm cable through the hole and crimped suitable connectors to both ends and bolted to the terminal from inside the inverter. This way you can bolt a cable from the battery onto the newly DIYed terminal.

The cable has to be very short so that the exposed terminal on the outside does not touch the chassis or opposite battery connection.
Pictures would be nice. I love DIY

For the love of God, people . . stop chasing cheap deals, especially when they're not from reputable companies. prioritize and ACSERTAIN authenticity before you even bother with comparing prices.

And to think i was hoping to purchase items for an inverter installation from same guy. Na wa o.

Beinf a while here.. how una de?

Please does anyone has any experience using solar freezers?

I have sorted most of my essential power needs but i need a freezer that can work on a low budget off-grid.
Also note, i don't intend to upgrade my existing setup because all my lightings and some appliances runs on DC.

I only want to run a good solar freezer(for madam) during the afternoon.

all solar freezer are self run because it have his own inbuilt inverter so if u are buying it u will need to buy at list 300w panel
From 100ah battery up
And pwm 50amp cc to work

Or better still u tap from ur existing power bank to feed it

I think what he'll be more interested in is the UX and performance as per runtime as it applies to different battery capacities.

Pictures of the set up as seen on listings from vendors always show CC, solar panels and batteries as components.

What you can't tell from the pictures is runtime. I am also interested in knowing that.

Contributions from users in the house will be appreciated.

For me I prefer to set-up a small backup system for normal inverter freezer of known brands. I have not seen any DC solar fridges that is of known brands. I also like the flexibility that I can easily put on my gen to power my AC fridge/freezer when the sun is not smiling. Ultimately I don't see much motivation for a dedicated DC solar fridges/freezer
