RELAN2446:Lol @ "easy". As long as you hold a Nigerian passport, the hurdle is already in place for an applicant. |

LadyBlaq:To me this is wrong, you have altered the transcript and made it invalid. In fact the page(bearing the address and office of the sender, name and recepient of the transcript) and the last page (bearing final cumulative GPA) as rendered it totally invalid and not a Legit Transcript, cos the bolded shows the source of the transcript, signatory etc. A Visa Officer might question your Transcript if he sees such. A Transcript is a very delicate document, reason why many schools abroad always want the applicant school in their home country to send the transcript themselves directly to the school aboard. 4.09mb is the file upload limit, so try see if you can still do something about the compression of some of the files you intend to submit for your application. Submitting a Transcript is no too much info. As regards refusal, NO TWO APPLICATION IS THE SAME!!!!. Avoid Comparison of an application to another, what favored Adekunle Might not favor Tochi cos they might have different background and financial capability 2 Likes 1 Share |

Teenie19: It's also my sisters application. Her school had sent this email stating she can still start her semester pending the time she gets her study permit application up until July 16, 2021. I think that is what she is going to do. "If you have applied for a study permit and have not received your approval, you can still start your semester: Please reply to this email with a copy of your study permit application. This can be a screen shot of your application. You must apply for a study permit by Friday May 14, 2021. Classes start on May 3, 2021. Please start attending classes, online, on May 3rd. You have until July 16, 2021 to receive your study permit approval. As soon as you receive it, please email us a copy. If you don’t receive an approval by July 16, 2021, you are eligible for a deferral, as long as you have notified us of your application by Friday May 14, 2021. Please continue to attend all classes virtually, starting May 3rd" 1 Like |

Sorry for the late post All glory belongs to GOD! Applied: October 18, 2020 Biometrics: I did biometric some years back so it’s still valid NSE letter: November 24, 2020 I sent emails and webforms that they should use the normal route for me that I can’t do Ielts and get the result before December 24, 2020 Upfront medicals : Nov 25, 2020 Medical updated to passed: December 4,2020 IELTS: December 3, 2020 Eligibility review: December 18, 2020 by the time I got my Ielts result and I realized I didn’t meet the cut off mark I had two 5.5 I was so frustrated. I actually used just two days to practice. So I sent another email that they should process using the normal route and I attached my MBS and semester fee receipt NSE requirements submitted: Around 18 February, 2021 I uploaded my MBS and a letter of explanation about not been able to submit IELTS before due date . I uploaded it on my Gckey page where they asked for additional documents. I later saw someone talked about EOR( IELTS result remark ) so I did that which took about a month to reply. I did it 11 December, 2020 and got a response 13 January, 2021. One of the 5.5 increased to 6.0. I was contemplating if I should send it or not but I sent it 11 March, 2021 with my explanation that I Just got my result because I didn’t request for my result until March Btw I also deferred from January to May. I also sent a lot of mails (everyday) and few webform (once in a while) Ghost update: March 24 & 25 Bvl and PPR: April 12, 2021 submitted passport same day Passport returned: still waiting And I just want to let you know that I was denied study permit extension 4 times some years back and I kind of overstayed but I kept on applying so when I was refused the 4th time I came to Nigeria. But God helped me write a very strong letter of explanation and with a LOT of prayers. Thanks to everyone on this thread Please I would like to know what next after submitting passport what’s the process? All I know is that my passport has been sent to Abuja. who can I email? where is the passport going to next ? 14 Likes 2 Shares |

Make a transfer first, then write them to confirm your payment, attaching the proof of payment. Also make sure you go for your medical test with it beacuse they will ask for it. Chioma3000001: |

Hello gurus in the house, please I need your honest reviews on my situation! I am still reading through the thread from the beginning, just needed to get clarity on the issues ASAP. I applied last year July for my study Visa (University of Calgary, Msc GIS), I was denied based on family ties, employment prospects in my home country. So I deferred the admission to September this year, I want to reapply again this month, my dad will be sponsoring me fully, with about 60k cad, he also has landed properties, I earn a gross monthly salary of 100k working in a GIS firm, although I invest most of my funds in crypto, so my bank account is not really helpful. I was wondering if this will affect my re-application? Also can I use my sponsors bank statement for the NSE route? And secondly is there any a need to redo medicals, cos I completed medicals and biometric verification during my last application? Thirdly, how can I establish family ties in my SOP? |

mastmony:Yes, this happens on a rare occasion but I feel it would be inappropriate or wrong to advise or anyone be encouraged to opt for a B.SC in Canada after an HND. Few applicants gets approval, but it doesn't mean it is the most appropriate/ideal approach especially when study progression/career advancement is a rule to go by. Also, the financial implication of applying for study visa and the process which can most time be overwhelming is another reason one should follow the study progression/career advancement rule and fulfil all righteousness You don talk am alrdy, na God do am |

Austin163:I understand your frustration, but you have to understand that Canada does not owe us as Nigerian citizens anything. They are only accountable to their own citizens. The only reason they are even accepting so many immigrants now is because they have an aging population and need skilled workers to pay taxes that will sustain their economy. If you really want emigrate, maybe you should try applying via express entry or try other countries such as Germany, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, etc. These countries also need immigrants and might be easier to apply to. |

Good evening everyone, Please if some huge amount of money enters my account in the month I received my admission and I'm able to justify where it's coming from, Do I need to wait for another 4 or 6 months before I can apply for a study permit? Will it affect my application if I apply immediately? Secondly, I have 10k cad in my account, but my sponsor now retired (my mum) has proof of more properties worth 10m naira, than cash (3.5m) in her bank account. Will it affect my application? Although I have an undergraduate degree from the UK, which she also sponsored 7 years ago. Her assets generate annual income, rents, dividends etc and she has been doing more of cash transactions (but she has receipts of past transactions) My program is a 2 years program from MUN. Please advise what is the best way to go about improving my chance of study permit approval? Thanks. |

Please my brother is currently in Canada doing his masters and he left recently infact he left this January and now I’m applying to go to Canada for my masters as well and my mum who sponsored my brother is also going to be my sponsor but the problem I have now is with the statement of account..she has 10million naira bank statement for my application and it’s also the same account she used for my brother,Is this going to raise eyebrows..are they going to figure out or ask why it’s just 10 million in the account if she’s sponsoring two people..the thought of this is giving me sleepless nights tbh do they even do background checks on things like this and the worst is that I talked about having a brother doing his masters in Canada in my SOP..is it possible that they’ll start checking all these |
